We hired Event One for both our ceremony and reception, and they were absolutely wonderful! John was very flexible- we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but moved it indoors at last minute due to weather and everything went off without a hitch. He also did a great job of keeping the evening going with music that our guests would dance to. Additionally, the uplighting and slideshow from Event One were the perfect touches to our perfect day!

I had a very positive experience working with Wes from Event One DJs. We met twice prior to the wedding and talked over ideas for music and lighting. Wes was very accommodating with everything we wanted to do and offered some great input as we planned. During the reception, Wes did a great job of keeping things on track and gauging the mood of the crowd. His music choices incorporated songs we had selected, as well as songs that he thought would get our guests up and dancing (which they did!). The uplighting Wes provided was also amazing! It really transformed the look of the room. If anyone is waivering about whether to spend the extra money on uplighting -- go for it! It was worth every penny. All in all, I was extremely pleased with Event One DJs and would happily recommend them to any other couple.

Our DJ was Wes from Event One. Wes met with us prior the the wedding and listened to all of our ideas for cocktail, dinner and dancing. We had even made him a CD with the songs we had in mind. We were worried that he wouldn't want that much input from us, but he was very accomodating! He helped step us through songs or genres that we might have forgotten so we had everything covered before the wedding. I felt confident that Wes knew what we liked - and we were not disappointed. Wes did a great job of keeping the party moving and playing music that we loved.
The price was much, much better than other DJs I interviewed. A great company!

Wes with Event One DJs was very accommodating to our wishes. The volume was a good level, he went with the flow all night and played our personal play list almost down to the last song.

Wes from Event 1 DJs was great! We met with him approximately one month prior to our wedding, discussed final song choices and the timeline for the evening and other important details. On the day of our wedding, I had absolutely no complaints! The music was great and so many guests were having a great time dancing. Wes was extremely professional and communicated with us the entire night to make sure we stayed on track. I would recommend Wes to anyone!

I was referred to this DJ by the manager of our ceremony/reception location. I never met with them in person but handled everything either over the phone or through email. I would highly recommend this DJ service. They allow you to customize your song choices online by providing you with a login/password for their website. You get to choose each and every song you want played and they will stick only to your desires. They even have a "do not play no matter who requests this" list that you can fill out. Also, they were able to provide mics so that my brother and our friend could perform a song at the reception. Everything went beautifully, and I was very impressed and happy with their services. Even my husband was excited and happy that we got to pick all of the music ourselves. Beyond that, Wes did an amazing job, he was the perfect DJ. We had experiences with other DJ's at other weddings that left us wary of choosing a DJ but Wes was awesome. I would recommend Event One to anyone anywhere in Indiana!

Decent job done, DJ seemed a bit shy/quiet or inexperienced, but was willing to play requests and we had a good time.
