Seemed fine at first and then when we were going to meet her we barely found her house and when we did she walked us down to the basement to her "office" area which had a horrible smell and her house was a mess. To top it all off she was barely willing to work with us on price, but we finally settled on an agreement. Then about three months later I still have not received the email invoice with the price or agreement. Talk about unprofessional. So glad we decided NOT to go with her.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! We found ourselves changing a lot about the cake and Lisa was great about that!

Lisa did our cake and not only was it beautiful but it was delicious! Our photographer said it was the best wedding cake she'd ever had. We went 'against the mold' and did a chocolate cake, but it totally matched our wedding colors (chocolate and ivory). Lisa works out of her home which helps keep overhead down, I felt that her prices were reasonable. You do have to return the cake stand to her after the wedding, to get your deposit back, Im not sure if that's standard or not, not a huge deal but still just keep it in mind. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lisa was great in following the design we had in mind for our wedding cake. I was disappointed the day of our reception because the cake did not have as strong of flavors that it did when we held our tasting.

My wedding cake from Elizabethan Delights tasted delicious, just as it did at the tasting. Lisa did a great job matching the color of icing to a perfect shade of lavender, which is a very difficult color to achieve with icing. Beware of using pale icing colors with dim lighting though, because it looked kind of white in this lighting, but it was perfect in the photos. There were some issues with the florist, so the design wasn't quite what I had hoped for, but Lisa came through with her end of the bargain. Elizabethan Delights was the least expensive baker I found in the Charlotte area, and the cakes here tasted the best---hands down.

The cake was to die for. It was moist, delicious, and the final version was incredible. The price was wonderful!!!!!! She just won charlotte's best cake this spring. Contact her.

The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious! Lisa made it so easy on us, the cake was delivered on time and it was exactly what we wanted. We got tons of compliments on our cake!
