Elisabeth was a pleasure to work with and clearly puts a lot of thought into the responses to the questionnaire. She wrote us a lovely and personalized ceremony and we got lots of positive feedback from guests about it.

Elisabeth was great... we were in search of someone who could help us design the specific wedding that we had in mind -- non religious but still formal and appropriate, with an emphasis on our personal story -- and she absolutely got it. She worked with us extensively and guided us expertly through the process.... and her advice, which sometime conflicted with the (poor) advice we were getting from our venue, was invaluable. We were lucky to have her as part of our event!

Traveled far for our ceremony

Elisabeth was very pleasant to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had. We met with her before we signed a contract and were both put at ease by her humor and easygoing manner. She had us fill out a questionnaire about ourselves and how we met, which she used in our first draft of the ceremony. She was very easygoing about changes we wanted to make (while she has a "formula," she's always happy to change things if it doesn't quite work for the couple). There were many wonderful parts of the ceremony that she suggested for us, such as having our guests pass around the rings and having a community blessing--our guests LOVED it!!

She was incredibly professional and helpful on our actual wedding day, and everything went SO smoothly. Thanks, Elisabeth!

Elisabeth Coffey was WONDERFUL! She met with us prior to our selecting her and truly listened to "our story." She was very responsive and insightful. We had the opportunity to write our own ceremony while adding in her suggestions and expertise. She ultimately did all the hard work and composed it. We wanted a non-denominational ceremony that was personalized and Elisabeth gave us that and more. After the ceremony we received numerous compliments on how unique and meaningful our ceremony was. Some guests even commented on how pleasant Elisabeth's voice and presence were. If you want some one who will listen to your wishes and deliver more, she is IT.

My Husband and I loved working with Elisabeth Coffey. She is very sweet, funny and a pleasure to be around. We felt comfortable with her from the moment we met and knew she would do a great job of telling our personal story. Our ceremony was beautiful, romantic, funny and all about us, which is what we wanted. Our friends and family commented how different, charming and personal ,most importantly our ceremony was.

Overall we had a great ceremony and a good experience, but when we have received the first draft of the ceremony I was somewhat concerned. The first time we met with her she assured us that she will be able to research customs and traditions (neither me nor my husband are religious so we could not tell her much about wedding traditions of our religions, but we wanted to include some of those to demonstrate our respect to each other and our families). While Elisabeth was working on our first draft I decided to read about traditional weddings for both of our cultures, their history and symbolism. When we got the first draft, I was very surprised to find many inconsistencies with what I read. We ended up doing a lot of research on our own and changing a lot of what she wrote. However, she was very open to accepting our changes. She was attentive to what we deciding to include/not include, and overall very nice to work with. Our final draft was great and the ceremony went very smooth (we both were relaxed and had fun). All of our guests said that they haven't seen anything like that and that it was beautiful.

We really thought Elisabeth understood what we wanted and she had great suggestions that we used in the ceremony. She was really easy to work with and we were so happy that she officiated us!

Elisabeth was a pleasure to work with! We weren't sure what we were looking for when we started interviewing officiants, but within minutes of meeting her we knew that she was perfect for our wedding. She gave us an extensive questionnaire to each fill out separately and used our answers to write a beautiful, very personal ceremony. The ceremony was just the right mix of serious and humorous and it really held people's attention and touched everyone. So many people complimented us on what a beautiful, captivating ceremony it was and how it was very different from other weddings they had been to. I would highly recommend her!
