Karen was easy to work with, was seemingly everywhere (based on the pics), yet I dont remember seeing her! The pics that we got from her are really exactly what we wanted! She is a top-notch professional!

Karen did an amazing job at our wedding. Not only did she take gorgeous pictures but she helped the whole night run smoothly, not missing a single moment.

From the moment Karen and her assistant arrived to the moment they left, they were snapping pictures. My husband and I were reflecting on the wedding the day after and didn't think that Karen and her assistant took many pictures because we didn't see them for most of the night. But it turns out that really they just did a great job of blending in and weren't obtrusive in the least. We have pictures of every moment of the night!

When we finally got our pictures, we fell in love with every single one. Karen and her assistant are incredible at capturing the moment and feelings of the wedding. As we requested, they didn't spend much time on formal pictures so that we could get more candids and we couldn't happier with that decision. Thank you so much!

Karen did a fabulous job as our photographer on our wedding day. We used her in 2006 for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding and we just loved her work and her style of photography that we decided to use her for our wedding without a doubt. She's extremely knowledgeable, unobtrusive, and just a delight to work with. Karen ran the show effortlessly and knew exactly which shots to capture. She was always available when we had questions or concerns.

Karen was an essential part of my wedding day and helped create so many fabulous memories for me, my husband, our wedding party, and friends and family!

Your photographer is really an integral part of your wedding day -- she's there when you're getting dressed, waiting nervously to see your groom for the first time, taking photos with your friends and family, and celebrating at your reception. Karen was an absolute delight to have with us for all those special moments, and she and her assistant did an unbelievable job capturing them all without ever giving us the feeling they were in the way (in fact I hardly noticed them during the ceremony or reception, but the photos reveal they were right there all along!).

Karen has great ideas for poses that are really less posed, more in her style of photo journalism. Some of our shots are soft and romantic, others play off the great architecture of the city. And the candids during the reception are just so much fun.

Aside from her artistic talent, which is clear from the slideshows on her website, Karen is great at keeping the day moving. Someone needs to tell Uncle so-and-so to move out of the bridesmaids photo, and Karen had no problem doing that! She was also great working with other vendors and our Officiant.

We worked with Karen at Eikon photo and we loved everything about her service. She got all the shots we wanted and she was quick! We didn't want to spend too much time focusing on the posed pictures, so she got those done as quickly as possible and then she really focused on the candid shots. She took a ton of pictures and captured so many memories all throughout our day. It didn�t take too long to get the website of all our pictures. And we were so impressed with the pictures. She did such an amazing job!

Eikon Photography was amazing! We did not work with Karen but we were able to work with two other photographers who really fit our personality...relaxed, no rush for pictures, and to have fun! The pictures of our wedding turned out so wonderful! We highly recommend Eikon!!!

My husband and I got married on July 12, 2008 and decided to use Eikon Photography. We worked with Karen and Steven and they were amazing! The pictures turned out better than we could ever imagine, just amazing!!!! I would absolutely recommend Eikon Photography to friends and family!!! They were wonderful to work with, Karen and Steven captured everything on camera not missing a thing. Looking through the pictures was like I was re-living my wedding again. We couldn’t be happier we went with Eikon photography.

Our end result was wonderful. Our wedding photos are fabulous and that's the bottom line. However, we did have some issues with Karen along the way that I think other brides should know about.

We booked her because she was running a special where she offered a free engagement session when you booked a wedding package. We booked her more than 18 months before our wedding, planning to use engagement photos on our save-the-date cards. I should have asked about availability because she was never available. She was always booked or travelling. We wound up unable to take the engagement photos until a weekday only 1 or 2 weeks before our wedding. That was really frustrating and disappointing! When she came to our engagement session, it turns out she forgot her memory card or lens or something. So, we waited for another 30 minutes while her assistant brought it.

On our wedding day, she seemed somewhat forgetful. I sent her a list of my "must-have" shots beforehand, per her request. After the ceremony, our wedding party was very excited. It was a fabulous and fun day and we were full of joy and chatter! Karen did not do a good job of "commanding the group" and wound up getting very short and irritated with us. She raised her voice and acted angry at the group. That frustrated me- it was our wedding day- what did she expect beside happy chatter?!

It was very hot on our wedding day so, without asking us, she decided we would take the wedding portaits indoors at the mansion where we got married. It was not a good room for photos (poor lighting) and the portraits/group photos came out somewhat poor. She also forgot all of the photos with our grandparents and later in the night, had us take one photo with all of the grandparents. That would be fabulous except that my husband and I are both children of divorced families. If I sent my maternal grandparents a photo of them with our paternal grandparents, they'd never put it up! That upset me a bit.

Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome. Our photos were fabulous and I may consider using her again only based on her skill. Maybe she was just having a bad day? I just felt like I shouldn't have to worry about upsetting her on my wedding day- it was just one added piece of stress- and I was disappointed about that.

Eikon Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with! They responded quickly, were very flexible, helpful and friendly, and we love our photos!

Karen was great. Even though she had to fight to get the best shots, she pulled it off. Can't thank her enough.

There were a lot of pictures of the same people, which was something I had been hoping to avoid altogether, and I would have like to see more pictures of family interacting, as well as more pictures of my mom and me while we were getting ready, there is only one that indicates she was in the room with us. I think I expected more photos in general. But overall Chris was amazing to work with, he was very out of the way, guests thought he was great, and the pictures are incredible, there are some incredible memories captured on film that we will treasure forever! It was a very positiove experience and we would certainly recommend Eikon in the future!

I was so pleased with everything they did. They went above and beyond anything I would have ever expected and the photos are beautiful!

Stunning photographs that I have not seen matched. I really enjoyed working with Chris. He was laid back and subtle but managed to get all the great shots. I would heartily recommend Eikon for those who are interested in some great photographic memories.

From the moment my fiance (now husband) and I stepped into Karen's studio, we were impressed with the quality of her work -- and with the quality of her person. She was flexible, funny, warm, and kind. Her photographs were both classic and modern, graceful and edgy, and she somehow captured with her camera the most beautiful quality of every moment. We looked at two (2) other vendors of varying price and style, and neither could have given us what Karen did: peace of mind on our wedding day, and top-quality, gorgeous pictures for a lifetime. We were so impressed at our original meeting with Ms. Sayre, of Eikon Photography. My daughter had very specific ideas regarding the artistic skills of a photographer and the finished product, however, she also felt strongly that the photographer needed to have excellent interpersonal skills because they would not only be working with the bride and groom, but with friends and family during the wedding and the reception. Ms. Sayre won our confidence at our first meeting showing us portfolios of her beautiful work and with her warm and genuine personality. Along with her talent, she also proved her excellent communication skills throughout the planning stage of the wedding. She was a great hit with our family and friends at the wedding and the reception. Her finished product is amazingly beautiful and we have received so many compliments of her and her work. I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Sayre and I would rate her exceptional on all levels.
