Amazing reception venue in Frederick! The food is by far the best in the area and their portions are very large. If your guests leave hungry, they have some issues. :) With 150 guests, we used the whole upstairs (highly recommend) which helped with the flow and exclusiveness. The servers are very professional and only work for special events. The prices are very reasonable! We would have had to pay double at a nice hotel or mansion venue for what we got.
Only minor hiccups were:
1) The dance floor was small for us but we are all dancers. Also their dance floor was the largest offered even compared to other venues we looked at.
2) I wish we positioned our wedding cake in a different location. It was kinda tucked away and hard to get/see.
3) We had a new day-of venue coordinator and there was only one communication difference between her and the DJ (who was his first time there too). It would have been nice for the day-of venue coordinator to line us up and give us direction on where we were to come out for our introduction; however, they view that it is the DJ's responsibility.

All the praises (amazing food, good portions, strong drinks, friendly staff, elegant atmosphere, flow from cocktail hour through dinner, etc) we have been getting from our friends and family overrule everything! Highly recommend!!!

There is not enough time to write how wonderful Dutch's Daughter was! We had both our wedding and reception there and everything was absolutely perfect. They took care of every little detail. The food was fabulous, the waitstaff and bartenders amazing and Danielle, cooridinator, was just awesome. I was hesitant to book my wedding there but they did a fabulous job and we had a brunch the day after and it was just a wonderful. Everyone is still raving about the food and service of both events!

Danielle at Dutch's Daughter was excellent and answered all of my questions/concerns for a looong year! The reception turned out perfectly and the food was amazing! All of our guests had a great time.

They were wonderful and the staff was great. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks.

I have used Dutch's for many corporate events so I knew they would make my wedding reception a day for me and my guests to remember. The food was perfection, the room was beautiful, and the service was superior! I relocated to this area so all of my guests were from out of town. They enjoyed themselves so much, I had a few return the weekend after our wedding with their friends to have dinner.

I can't say enough good things about Dutch's Daughter!

They let us drop everything off in the morning. We dropped off centerpieces, cookies, favors, decorations, and a bunch of other stuff, and they had it all laid out beautifully when we got there.

The bartenders were great - nobody had to wait for a drink, and the beer selection was fantastic. The servers were super nice and friendly, very flexible, and very efficient. At the end of the night the servers came running out to the parking lot with their arms full of stuff we had forgotten!

The best part was the food. It was just as good as if you had made reservations at the restaurant and ordered off the menu. Normally, you just hope for wedding food to be palatable, since when making food for 80 people, its usually sitting around for a good while before it actually gets to the person. Instead, everyone was raving about how the filet was the best they had ever had. They were also very generous with the appetizers. The crab dip was amazing - very dense with huge lumps of crab meat. The servers boxed up all of the leftovers for us too (I have been making myself sick overeating the massive leftover container of crab dip).

The hardest part about planning a wedding is trying to entertain people who are 5 years old, 90 years old, and everywhere in between. Dutch's made this easy. Everyone stayed until the end and had a great time. Not to mention - it was cheaper than renting a hall and hiring a caterer.

Everything was great. We didn't have any problems at all and had a great time.

Dutch's Daughter did not CATER my wedding, as it was under the required minimum of 100 people. However, we did arrange to have thge entire dinner crated through take out and hired kitchen attendants and food prep staff to plate each meal for our very small wedding.
Dutch's was not only flexible, but they were able to recreate the meal that my husband and I ate the night we got engaged (right before we went to dinner there). All food was fresh, including the salad greens. They packaged everything so that it would not spill. They even used containers and bagged the salad dressing so it would not spill in transport!
They were very receptive to our idea to achieve our goal with take-out and even made suggestions for items of china that we had not thought of to rent. Their price quote was fair and reasonable and returned in a timely manner.
The best part, was that there was more than enough food for everyone.

The coordinator for all weddings is fantastic, and so organized that it makes planning that much easier. Guests loved the atmosphere and raved about the food. If Dutch's Daughter is an option for you... use them!

We loved Dutch's Daughter! We were trying to plan our wedding on a budget and Dutch's worked with us to help figure out what was best. The food was unbelievable too! I could not have asked for a better reception location! Such a beautiful building also. And the lady who helped us plan out reception was very helpful and always answered all our questions in a timely manner.

We highly recommend Dutch's Daughter to any bride and groom for either the rehearsal dinner or the reception!! We had our wedding reception in the ball room upstairs and it was amazing. They provide excellent service and a beautiful setting for the reception of your deams. The food was fantastic and they customized the menu to meet our requests. Our guests, still to this day, tells us that our reception food was the best they EVER had at a wedding reception. The value is also the best in the area when it comes to the total package.
