I knew from the beginning after reading everyone elses reviews that I would love Dream Day DJ's. Jake took the time to meet us before we signed the contract and also a few weeks before the wedding. I don't think too many Dj's offer the same level of service. We could not have booked a better DJ. Thank you Jake!

Mr. Richie was the most professional and well versed DJ out of the many I personally interviewed. After a long day of interviewing it was nice to see someone nicely groomed and well prepared. My only request was he "run the show" and that he did. There were no worries as things moved right along and my guests stayed well entertained. My wife and I are not loud boisterous people and he responded just the same. Jake, in my opinion, has the God-given gift of reading people behind the wheels of steel. A+ Mr. Richie for a job well done!

Jake was an excellent DJ! We met with him several months prior to the wedding and then sent the final information in just weeks before the wedding. Throughout that time I had many questions and he was very fast in responding through email. He was well organized and prompt the day of the wedding. Jake was sure to know all exact names and had everything on a schedule. All went well and he kept people out on the dance floor all night long. All different kinds of music was represented to keep all different ages going throughout the night! I would highly recommend Jake to any bride and groom! He was a blast...Thanks so much Jake for all of your hard work!

Jake was a great DJ. He did everything very prefessionally. If a song was requested that he did not have you made every effort to get it. It was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the selection of dinner music and picking out the songs was a breeze with his sheet that was provided. He deserves very high recommendations.

What can one say about the services Jake performed other than excellent. He is very professional and absolutely a pleasure to work with. On top of that he is affordable for the average person that actually has a wedding budget yet there is no compromise it's the whole package. The music was great, the sound was kept to a very nice quiet acceptable level during the cocktail and dinner hours. Then when the party got under way it was nice and lively without making your eardrums bleed like at a lot of parties/receptions I have attended. He even customized a song for us. Not to mention he has an excellent guarantee and that alone makes him the right DJ for the job.

I cannot say enough about Jake. He was so organized, so professional, and on top of everything. He gave great suggestions, his prices were amazing, he did everything that I asked of him, even changing a song super last minute. Any bride would be lucky to have Jake as their DJ. He makes the party so fun and was a joy to work with! Thanks so much Jake!

Jake Ritchie was amazing!! He ended up working for 7 hours because no one would leave. You know you have a good DJ when over half the guests come up to you and comment on how much they liked him and how great the music was. Also, as with any large event there will be snafu's and our wedding was no exception. No matter what the change or glitch Jake was right there with a smile and a "don't worry about it, I'll figure it out" and he did. Without even a hesitation and totally transparent to the guests. He was wonderful to work with, I will recommend him to anyone I know of looking for a DJ. Jake was extremely professional, very friendly, and did anything I asked, with a smile. Most important his ability to work with us and our musical needs was an absolute pleasure. Nothing was too hard and everything turned out perfect. I can not stress enough, if you are looking for the best most accommodating DJ in the world, hire Jake Ritchie

Fantastic!!! Very professional and flexible. The moment we left our first meeting with Jake, we knew wanted to book him for the event. He knows his stuff. He can either plan the music and timeline of your ceremony and reception from front to back or work with you to fine tune what you already have planned. We were very pleased.

DJ Jake Ritchie did an amazing job at our wedding - we could not have asked for a better DJ. One of the most important things that we wanted at our wedding was to have a great DJ who would keep our friends and family dancing all night long. We don't exaggerate when we say that our guests rarely left the dance floor, and much of the credit goes to Jake who had a great feel for the crowd and played the right song at the right time. While we had a few songs that we wanted Jake to play as the night went on, he worked each song into the night seemlessly.
What's more, we can't speak enough about his professionalism. He was full of ideas and did his best to help us plan our reception. At one point, when someone spilled a drink on the dance floor, he instantly alerted the appropriate reception staff and the mess was cleaned up in now time.
Jake did a fantastic job, and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jake did a great job at my wedding. We were really, really happy with how everything turned out. It was great how he stepped in when the mariachis didn't show - no one noticed at all that something was not as it should have been. The amount of preparation that he puts into his events is really impressive and really helped to put us at ease that everything would flow nicely and be under control - and nothing beats a bride who is not stressed out. Everyone enjoyed themselves and he was such a big part of making it all happen!

Jake did a fantastic job at our wedding and we could not have been happier with his services. He assured us before the wedding that he would MC the reception and announce all of the events as they come up so we wouldn't have to worry about keeping track of the time and when things were happening. And he did exactly that. We had a great time and everything ran very smoothly. He played all the music that we requested, and filled in the rest of the night with really good songs, everyone had a great time out on the dance floor. Based on the list of songs that we told him we liked, he was able to grasp our style and play other songs that we liked. The dancing never died, the floor was filled literally through the last song of the night. He was also very professional in his dress as well his demeanor and style. He knew how to stay low-key but knew how to direct the events and get the crowd out on the dance floor.
Before the actual event, Jake was always responsive by email and phone and was always flexible when we wanted to meet with him to discuss the wedding. He showed up to the wedding on time and got everything set up before guests arrived. Overall, he just did a great job and we would definitely recommend him to future couples who want great service at a very reasonable cost.

Jake is an exceptionally professional and talented DJ. During our first meeting with Jake, we knew that he would be the perfect DJ for our wedding reception. He went over details that we had not even thought about. He worked extremely well with the venue’s wedding coordinator to keep things moving and on schedule. Jake’s organizational skills were amazing! We highly recommend Jake for a wedding reception or any event where you want a professional, organized, #1 DJ for your guests! He is truly one of a kind and we are delighted that he made our wedding day even more special!

Jake is one of the best DJ's ever. He is very prompt on getting in touch with you, He has great ideas to boost up your wedding reception. All of my guests told me that he was the best. Anyone looking for a Dj I would strongly recomend Jake. Weddings are already special days but he does all that he can to make your day even more special. I know when I need a Dj again for anything he will be the one to contact. Its hard to put it all into words, He is just that good at what he does.
