Dream Day DJ's was the best thing at my wedding... Everyone had such a good time. Everyone was up dancing and having a blast. Jake has the best personality, and through out my planning stages he was always there with helpful idea's. I never had to worry for a second if things were going to be handled I knew he would take care of everything.. Thank you Jake..

Jake did a great job for our wedding reception. He kept the crowd dancing, playing all our genres & song requests. Jake was very responsive, organized and professional - he advised us on the introduction, first dance and last dance songs; coordinated with all the wedding vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch; & even got me a drink when the waiters were too busy! Jake delivered a perfect performance and I would highly recommend him for your event.

Jake was so great!!! Of all our vendors, he got the most compliments from our guests. Our dancefloor was always packed and to be honest, as the bride I got a little in trouble with the families because I spent the whole night dancing instead of visiting with our guests. Every time I thought about leaving the dancefloor, he would play another great song! He is very organized and responsive and helped us pick out all the songs we needed for the first dances, cake cutting, etc. I highly recommend using him for your event. You can't go wrong!

Jake did a fabulous job as the deejay at our wedding. He worked the ceremony and the reception. He had a separate system for the ceremony and also provided a wireless microphone and a separate mic for our reader. His timing is excellent and he is very flexible and professional. He was great at moving the night along and making sure we were happy with how the night was going. We had some obscure music selections, and Jake either found them or we sent files for him to download and use. He worked within our budget as well. We'd highly recommend him!

Jake was absolutely fantastic! Once the music started, the dance floor was full for the rest of the night! He knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing, from my youngest cousins to my grandmother and everyone in between. Jake is very organized and a great help in picking the special songs. He even helped coordinate our exit strategy from the reception at the last minute. Jake was awesome. I would recommend him to anyone!

We hired Jake as the DJ for our August wedding & he was fabulous. First of all, he was totally easy to work with - we met with him twice before the wedding and both times he was organized & very responsive to all our ideas. He gives all his clients a packet of information that was super helpful. Every time I emailed or called him with a question, I heard back within a few hours. The music was really important to us - we wanted our reception to essentially be a big dance party and Jake did a great job using his expertise to make that happen. Also, Jake was low-key and unobtrusive during the reception itself. Finally, Jake's fees are very reasonable - he provides a great service for the price! I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again for another event.

I HIGHLY recommend Jake as a wedding DJ. He played nothing but great music, and he had my dance floor packed the entire night! In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, my fiance and were both very impressed with his helpfulness and professionalism. At our first meeting he was clearly very organized and not only gave us lots of information about the services that he provides, but he also gave us a lot of helpful organizational and musical tips and suggestions. Jake even visited our wedding venue by himself to tour the facility and test out a set-up that we had discussed over the phone. He clearly spent many hours working on the music for our wedding. And his prices were very reasonable, as well! I was very impressed with everything he did - Dream Day DJs is clearly the best of the best!

Jake was AWESOME! He was recommended to us by another bride. After our first meeting Derrick and I were impressed and booked Jake right away. We couldn't have been happier with his service. He listened to what we had to say and was willing to have fun with us as we planned for the big day. Our guests never left the dance floor and we had so many compliments about the Music! Thanks Jake!

Jake was simply amazing... we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He played exactly the type of music we wanted, and was a great emcee for the event without being overly intrusive. He worked the room well, handled the scheduling changes easily, and simply did a marvelous job. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, which is the best thing we could ask for! We were extremely satisfied with Dream Day DJs. We couldn’t have been happier with the services or setup, and the party Saturday night was just as I had envisioned it: elegant, sophisticated, and exceptionally fun. The setup was very sleek and unassuming, which was a relief because my main concern about hiring a DJ was having huge speakers, a tacky banner, and flashing lights in the reception room.
We were absolutely thrilled with everything, and all of our guests had a wonderful time thanks to Jake's hard work and superb performance. Most people stayed until the very end, and many of them have remarked that they’re never had a better time at a reception.
We would highly recommend Dream Day DJs to anyone in need of wedding or other event entertainment!

We really liked Jake from the moment that we met him. We had been interviewing lots of different vendors for lots of different services. We are very laid back and easy going and wanted someone who understanded that we wanted to leaved it all up to him. He had a laid back personality, but was very professional when he needed to be. He handled the music during our ceremony, cocktail hour AND reception. We could NOT have picked a better DJ! We had so many compliments! Amongst a few, we had people that got his card to use him at their event(s) and I had a few different people tell me that they had never danced so much at any wedding before. We would HIGHly recommend Jake Ritchie for any and all events! He was a pleasure to work with and very easy to get along with. He provided us with informative papers and ones to fill out, as well, so that he could get a feel for how you wanted your evening to go. EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Jake was absolutely amazing! Highly, highly recommended. We first met Jake at Panera and he was very knowledgable on music and sound quality. He really took the time to talk with us and find out what our needs were. He sold himself well and was not pushy. Both my fiance and I booked him the next day. The best part of our wedding was our first dance. We sent Jake a list of popular songs that we wanted mixed as a suprise halfway through our slow dance (kinda like a "rock the reception" type dance). Jake was quick to respond and offer advice on making the mix. We had our full first dance via mp3 at least 6 months prior to the wedding so we could practice our steps. On the wedding day, Jake arrived early to set up and kept us informed every step of the way. The music mixes were perfect and he kept people on the dance floor all night long and even took requests from guests. If you need a DJ for your wedding, he is definitely the top pick. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thanks Jake for making our day so special:)

Dream Day DJs (Jake Ritchie) did an outstanding job. The wedding ceremony was outdoors with the reception inside. The quality of sound was excellent for both. Everything was performed exactly as planned and at the appropriate time. We was a perfect host for the reception activities and the guests enjoyed his selection of music.
Having checked the price of several vendors before making a selection, we are confident in saying that Dream Day DJs are reasonably priced with excellent service. We highly recommend Jake.

We hired Jake after using WeddingWire to identify and interview several other DJs. We selected him because of our confidence in his ability to accommodate a crowd with a myriad of races, ethnicities, ages, and musical preferences. Jake worked closely with us and our planner to prepare for our event. He was extremely patient and provided plenty of guidance without being overbearing. He incorporated many of our personal selections and mixed in other, crowd-pleasing songs. He also ended up being a great value since he brought along some additional lighting for our dark venue at no additional cost to us. Jake did an excellent job of keeping the crowd dancing until the very end of the evening. To this day, people are telling us that ours was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding reception. Jake deserved the credit for that!
