We bought both my engagement ring and wedding band here. I was really into the idea of one-of-a-kind vintage. Anyone we asked about estate pieces in NYC pointed us to Doyle & Doyle.

It’s the kind of place that makes you feel good about shopping. It’s not just engagement rings, and they display all of their pieces in frames on the wall so that you feel like you’re looking at art. I'm sure we paid a premium for the charm, but as far as I'm concerned it's worth it. Could not be further from the Manhattan diamond district experience.

I worked with Nicole first, who I don't think works there anymore. I was seriously apprehensive about engagement ring shopping, but Nicole made it so much fun – the best game of dress up ever. She was never pushy.

We ended up buying both the engagement ring and wedding band from Megan – not as warm and fuzzy and Nicole, but very knowledgeable. She was excellent at sizing, and found a wedding band out of the overstock in the back that complemented my engagement ring and lay flat on my finger like I wanted.

They resize really quickly, and worked around the original engraving in both of my rings. I docked them one star because their engraver won't work with rings that weren't purchased at D&D (my husband didn't buy his band their, but we wanted to use the same engraver).

The bottom line: hands down best selection of vintage and estate pieces in the five boroughs, and customer service to match.

We bought my wedding ring here. They have an amazing selection of antique jewelry. It was so much fun looking around and trying it all on (they are very friendly and patient!) and I found a ring that was absolutely me. I loved all their jewelry and the pricing was very reasonable, so I will certainly be going back in the future to browse for more!

First of all, the store space in Doyle & Doyle is gorgeous! It feels like walking into an art gallery and, fittingly, the antique/vintage pieces should be gawked at and admired.

My husband bought me a very beautiful vintage-style ring, which is unique and called for a unique ring. I definitely didn't want a perfect matching band, but something that complimented my ring. Doyle & Doyle's had exactly what I was looking for.

Not only is my band perfect, but the staff pulled as many ring styles as I wanted until I found the perfect one. The entire experience was perfect from beginning to end.

Doyle and Doyle offer antique, estate, and fine jewelry. The ring I purchased is vintage-inspired, so it is new with an antique look and I just love it. I went in with some ideas of what I wanted, and the staff there helped me choose the perfect ring for me. They spent a lot of time with me, allowed me to try on anything I wanted, and never made me feel rushed or pressured to buy. It is a lovely shop on the Lower East Side, and I can't wait to go back to admire their other pieces of jewelry.

Doyle and Doyle saved my life. I have a slightly unusual engagement ring, with a 6 prong diamond that made it hard for wedding bands to sit flush. I went all over the city to big and small jewelry stores, and had almost given up. I was ready to pay 3 times as much at a big midtown store so that I could have something to get married with on my wedding day. Then my husband and I checked out Doyle and Doyle. The relaxed atmosphere immediately put us at ease: we wanted rather than dreaded looking at their rings. And we immediately found a number of rings that worked. One was my size, and it was ready a week later. The perfect experience. Since then, I've gotten a number of compliments. And when I credit Doyle and Doyle I find that many of my friends have had equally positive experiences, and found pieces they love. Great Place!

Doyle & Doyle is such a beautiful space and carries so many lovely pieces. Including my engagement and wedding ring! I love them and they have so much meaning to me! My husband and maid of honor picked out my engagement ring and it was perfect! The wedding ring perfectly complimented it! Love love love me some D&D!!

5 stars all the way at Doyle & Doyle. I found my wedding band here, and was so impressed by the staff and quality of the pieces in the store. I was kind of waffling between two rings, and couldn't make up my mind, but the sales person was lovely and didn't pressure. She wrote down the styles, which was very convenient when I called to order my ring a few weeks later. They shipped the ring to me no problem, and were a joy to work with. I love my ring! Can't wait to purchase more pieces from Doyle & Doyle. Their antiques are ridiculously beautiful.
