Doubletree in Lancaster was great! From start to finish they helped me all along the way and made my wedding day more special than I imagined.

DoubleTree Resort by Hilton, Lancaster was beautiful in every way. From the chapel to the hotel rooms and especially Palm Court for the reception. Kris Becker was outstanding to work with. We highly recommend this venue!

Kris Becker handled our wedding & reception. I can't say enough about everything she did to make it just right. She was so attentive to our requests. Kris made sure we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING on our wedding day. She was such a pleasure to work with. She is just such a nice person in general. Nichole was there with us during our reception. We got so many compliments for Nichole--our guests felt like they were getting personalized service. She really made an impression with everyone, our guests just LOVED her! Brian handled everything at the chapel. What a great guy! He was also so nice to work with. He was there during our rehearsal, and just did such a great job making suggestions and assuring us everything would be alright. He made sure all our things at the chapel got moved over to our hotel room after the ceremony. Nothing got lost. The people at the desk in the lobby were also so courteous and nice. Oh! And Rock's brother, Terry, made our wedding cake, and had a disaster transporting the cake to the wedding. He RAVED about how the people at the DoubleTree, and from the kitchen helped him fix the cake. He said they were WONDERFUL and so HELPFUL. When we saw the cake, we would have never known anything was wrong. The staff was really nice during our rehearsal dinner too at Cafe 24--another convenience just having to walk across the street from the chapel after the rehearsal. The food was great!
Does it sound like we were happy with the service we were provided for our wedding and reception? You will not be disappointed. Also, having the chapel just a short jaunt across the street from the reception was one of the reasons we chose this site. The chapel is beautiful and set up perfectly for a wedding and for a bride to get ready right there inside the chapel.

I couldn't have had a better wedding and with such kind, flexible and hard working people helping us! We loved every aspect of the space. Everything was perfect! I really appreciated when Nicole helped me sew my wedding dress strap back on! lol! The food was excellent! The chapel was great and I can say on behalf of our families they had an amazing time! We loved the cheese and fruit plate in our overnight stay at the hotel for the wedding night!!!! I'm sad to hear the closing of Willow Valley and the Bakery though. But thanks again for everything and if it's okay I would love to come back to the wedding events there! They were so much fun!

Palm Court at Willow Valley was a spectacular venue for a wedding reception. The food was excellent, and everyone we worked with to plan the reception was top-notch.

The experience was wonderful!! So many people have commented on how beautiful the chapel and reception venues were. Working with Kris Becker was so great. They will work with you on any requests you need. I highly recommend this vendor!!

Absolutely the best reception venue I have dealt with. Very friendly and responsive. I have been told that the food was the best food people have ever had at a reception. Everything was set up exactly as we had asked and their staff were excellent all the way around.

Girls generally know how they will act as brides, and I knew from the beginning that I would be STRESSING majorly over every detail. Having said that, picking Willow Valley/DoubleTree Resort for my wedding venue was the BEST decision I could have ever made. I grew up going to this resort with my family since I was a baby, and it was my dream location for my wedding. At the very beginning of my experience, a different Catering/Sales manager worked here, and I must say I was worried it was going to be a disaster. However, about a month into planning, Kris Becker entered the role, and changed everything. If you want a person who is friendly, kind-hearted, organized, and willing to go above and beyond for you, pick Willow Valley for your wedding. Kris was so unbelievable... she took ALL the stress off of me and my family and I knew every detail was going to be perfect. She even came the day of my wedding to help set up to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it! She answered all of my questions very promptly and never missed a beat. If for no other reason, book for Kris alone.

The value of this venue is amazing. We got SO much for our money. We had a morning ceremony in the chapel with a brunch buffet, and our pricing included the ceremony, hors devours, a huge variety of breakfast and lunch foods (buffet style), mimosas, a discount on our cake and rehearsal dinner, and a complimentary night for my husband and me the night of the wedding! Some of my friends and family could not believe how reasonable it was when I told them what it cost us. Plus we got an additional discount for having it on a Sunday.

Quality and service are things that Willow Valley/DoubleTree has down. The grounds are gorgeous, the chapel is clean, adorable, and perfect for weddings, the Palm Court is breathtaking - everything is picture perfect. The food is delicious and the cake was out of this world. The Easter flowers in the front of the chapel were beautiful - we didn't even have to decorate it!

The people working there are amazing - as I said it doesn't get any better than Kris. The lady that helped me confirm the rooms we needed was also very helpful and responsive. The day-of coordinator was great... she checked in with me and dismissed the head table and she even brought my Dad a Diet Coke even though soda wasn't included in our package! My only issue was that she went MIA at some points of the reception... but I'm sure she has tons of behind the scenes work to do! Not a big deal at all. The bakery was great - Sue was so wonderful to work with and did exactly what we wanted! And our sound coordinator was a very nice guy who ran the sound perfectly during the ceremony, which is a huge stress saver! The people at the front desk were helpful checking all of our guests in, and were very accommodating when I was having a meltdown because we thought we didn't book enough rooms!

I also highly recommend having the rehearsal dinner in the smorgasboard! We had the rehearsal in the chapel, then headed over to the Family Restaurant and had a blast. DoubleTree is also a great venue if you have traveling friends and family who need to stay. Everything is in one place - SO convenient!

Thanks to Willow Valley/DoubleTree I had my dream wedding and could never have asked for anything more!! I highly recommend it if you know you will be stressing... trust me, your details will be taken care of and you will truly be able to enjoy your day! Best of luck brides!

They were amazing and the wedding was more than i dreamed it would be. When my cake turned out a little lop-sided, they didn't charge us for it...they took care of every detail. Every time we wanted to take care of something, they protested and took care of it!

I highly recommend this venue and to utilize both the wedding ceremony and reception locations. Not only is it highly convenient to all your guests, but it's a great value as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the staff through out the whole process, including the actual wedding. Each person was truly working to create my perfect day. Each and everything I asked for specifically, that was outside the standard guidelines were met. All of our guests loved both locations and raved over the delicious dinner meal that was served. I wouldn't have changed anything about the night!!

My wedding day was greater than I could have ever imagined and I have Willow Valley to thank for that. I was very happy with everything that Willow Valley had to offer. The entire Willow Valley campus is beautiful including the chapel and the Palm Court. I didn't do any decorating and yet everything looked beautiful. Willow Valley makes planning easy and convenient by having the chapel, bakery, reception hall and hotel rooms all on the same campus. They also have a family restaurant on campus so all of the family members and friends that stayed overnight were able to have brunch together the following morning.

In addition, any time I had a question, I would email Megan in catering and she would get back to me promptly every time.

Even though Willow Valley is located in an alcohol-free township, we had tons of fun at the reception and didn't even miss the alcohol. Everybody still got up and danced and we all had a great time!

I highly recommend Willow Valley to anybody for any kind of event, not just weddings. They're even great if you just want to get away for the weekend.

We recently got married at the DoubleTree Resort and I am over joyed that we selected this venue. It was absolutely beautiful and we got some many compliments on the venue and the excellent service. Every step of the planning process was covered with our coordinator Kris and then the day of the wedding Nicole covered every detail and helped us with anything we needed. The convenience of having the ceremony, reception and hotel stay for guests was amazing. I would recommend this vendor to any of my friends. We loved everything about it.

The only reason I moved flexibility to a 4/5 is because they do at least two weddings a day so there is not much flexibility with times. However, they did do an amazing job with their turnover and we never felt constrained or rushed. Loved everything about DoubleTree. We also did run into some trouble with pictures...people near the golf course really did not want us near.
