Had my wedding here and can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's a beautiful place with an incredible view of the bay and downtown Miami. The service and staff are AMAZING!! They treat you like royalty, are very friendly and accommodating, and go above and beyond to service your needs. Highly recommend this place to anyone for any social function or overnight stay. The rooms are also very clean and elegant.

Adriana Rader is a pleasure to work with. Since the first time I went in to check out the space, she was extremely responsive, organized and welcoming. This was very important to me because I was planning a Florida weddiing in Wisconsin. When we went in for our tasting, the chef came as well and worked with us to get special sauces for our guests (who ranged from no spice to extremely spicy food preferences). Also, the view is AMAZING! It overlooks south beach so you get the beautiful view of Miami without all the crazy traffic. Lastly, on the day of the wedding the servers were extremely attentive and fun - making sure my guests all had a great time. I thought this place was great, especially for the price and the value you get out.

I just had my wedding ceremony and reception late February at the Doubletree Grand Hotel in downtown Miami and everything was SPECTACULAR!!!

Adriana Rader, catering manager, was AMAZING to work with. She was always available to answer any questions and ease any worry throughout the months prior to the wedding. She was incredibly easy and extremely pleasant to work with! She was very accommodating and continually displayed her patience, kindness, and professionalism. When Adriana was not around, her staff was equally responsive.

The day of the wedding went off without a hitch! In addition, Adriana and her staff were there from the moment I came down for the ceremony until the end. It was nice to see a familiar face on such a stressful day, a comfort! Throughout the reception, Adriana and her staff made sure that the groom and myself had everything we needed and continually asked us if we needed anything throughout the night- water, appetizers, etc.! They provided us with anything we needed! It was like we had our own personal staff all night!

Guests commented on the very friendly wait staff and found the food to be delicious! The food service was prompt and there were no issues whatsoever!

I would definitely recommend the Doubletree for anyone looking for a spectacular staff, view, value, and stress-free experience! All of my vendors found Adriana extremely easy to work with, which is important when dealing with the stresses of a wedding! I cannot say enough about Adriana Rader.

We had the filet mignon, which was EXCELLENT!!! Definitely a food option worth looking into! In addition, the view is unbeatable, especially when considering pricing! The option of having both an inner AND outer space for guests was great and appreciated by everyone! It was a beautiful Miami night, and it was great to be able to enjoy it outside!

If I had to do my wedding over again, I would choose the Doubletree without hesitation!!!!

This venue was great, especially for the cost. The room is extremely versitile and the view is incredible. The food was great and the serving size is generous. The venue includes linens, including chair covers and sashes in the color of your choice. The staff was very responsive on the day of the wedding and the service was exeptional. My family and I were extremely pleased with everything. I rated the flexibility slightly lower because they are very strict with the contract and are not willing to negotiate much. However, the venue is priced fairly so there was not much need for that.

Although it is a little pricey you get your money's worth. The food was amazing, everyone told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. It was more restaurant style, simply exceptional food, and served beautifully. The bar had great drinks and cute cocktails. The waiting staff was great, they really spoiled the guest, many didn't even get up to the two bars they had, because the waiters were there to serve them. Not to mention that us, the bride and groom, were treated like royalty. The suite that is included in the package is breathtaking, marble floors, posh bedding, and comfy robes. The breakfast, that is also included, was to our choice, and it was great. Oh the view on both the suite and the venue are incredible, our guests were in awe, and we got great pictures out of it!
