Misty is absolutely amazing!!! She goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfectly done.
She was so much help not only during my wedding day but ever since I hired her. A few months ago I read a review about Misty (I Do Party Planners) that stayed "Misty is a super woman", now I can guarantee it, she is amazingly proactive, she took care of every single details in my wedding. Her charges are so reasonable and worth it. If you have the chance to meet her, you will hire her and your wedding will be unforgettable for you and the rest of your guests. Misty at I Do Party Planners was someone who I called to help me with my wedding. In the begining, Misty was always there when I needed her. We called and texted all the time for various reasons and she always had an answer for any of my problems reqarding my wedding. Mostly everything was running smoothly until the day of the wedding. Misty did my flowers, completed my centerpieces and completed my favors. The day of the wedding, when Misty came to my house to drop off the flowers and the corsages, I noticed that the flowers in the bouquets were a little brown however, Misty had told me and my Mother that she knew the flowers were brown, she actually had to throw away about 30 roses. She had told me that she was going to contact the flower warehouse herself the next day and talk to them about getting some of my money back. Also, the mens corsages were falling apart even before we had got to the venue for the wedding. The following day after my wedding, I was sitting down looking at some of the pictures that my family had taken online and I noticed a few MAJOR things. One, the centerpieces where NOT how we discussed they would be placed on the tables. She had put ribbon on the centerpieces and placed TAPE to hold it... When I showed her how I wanted them done, I used hot glue. The tape looked so tacky and cheap. I told her not to do them over (my mistake!) and just place the tape facing inwards so the guests could not see it... In ALL of the pictures, even the ones my photographer took, you can PLAINLY see the tape. It looked terrible! Two, there was NO cake stand for my cake. It was just placed on the table, which was NOT what we had discussed at all. Three, she FORGOT the favors!! My guests were not given any of the favors at all! How rude is that?!? I was so embarressed- 70% of my family were from out of the state, came all the way for our wedding and didn't even recieve any favors!?! I called Misty and told her about all this. Plus, the day of the wedding she was bad mouthing me to all of my guests. Did she really think my guests wouldn't tell me? She made herself look like a fool and unprofessional. My GRANDMOTHER even asked me and I quote "Where did you find this lady??" In the past month and a half, we have gone back and forth about all this. She keeps saying i'm complaining, but I think I have every right to complain about this. This was MY wedding and I paid her a lot of money to do these things for me, which were NOT done right. They were done very unprofessionally. What really threw me over the edge was when she FINALLY sent me the favors, they were thrown together, looking messy and looking like my two year old put them together (literally) and I sat here, at my house, with her, and showed her EXACTLY how I wanted them done... Not to mention that she OWES me money... Now she will not answer my text msgs, phone calls or emails. She owes me money because she was supposed to send out the favors that my guests were owed, but a month after the wedding, she decided that it would be too expensive to send out the favors so I told her, (again as a favor to her) just give me the money that we had spent on them because I didn't think it was fair to us to have to pay for the favors and pay to send them out when it was her job to begin with. I saved her money by doing that. She sent me a box with the favors and NO money... I am a stay at home mom with two infants. My husband works 6 days a week 12 hour days, sometimes longer. We do not have the money to throw out the window. I hired her to save me money and to help me out... I guess the old saying is right, if you want something done right, you just have to do it yourself. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else that she works with.

Misty is as my husband would put it "super awesome".We planned our wedding in a time crunch (6 weeks) and Misty was able to make everything we wanted happen. Our wedding was everything we hoped for, it was beautiful! We were super happy with everything, thanks to Misty!

Misty truly is the best!!! Do yourself a favor and hire her now!!! She worked with me more than I ever imagined I would need! For someone who has never been a part of planning a wedding she was there to answer all of my 'dumb' questions and come up with ideas to make the whole thing run as absoluetly smoothly as possible! She was there for the rehearsal and when ever I called, emailed, or text her! She is Amazing!!! I love you misty and thank you so much!!!

Misty was very flexible. Whenever we called her to change something about the wedding she was there to take notes. Whenever we changed something about the wedding she did not complain. She was a great planner and i appreciate everthing she did for us. thanx so much.

Misty! You did an amazing job being that you had to manage 3 rooms by your self. I couldn't have asked for more. My ceremony site is the one featured and wow!, you truly surprise me with the arch, I could have never done anything like that. You went above and beyond my needs, things I didn't have a clue you helped. Great job.!!! Thanks for making my wedding amazing everyone was commenting on how great it was.

Misty of I DO PARTY PLANNERS really did an excellent job with our wedding. She was always available when needed, listened to our wants and did her best to make them happen. We all worked together to keep costs down. Misty was indispensible on the day of the wedding. We could never have pulled it off without her! Yes, I would definitely say she was one of our best wedding decisions!

Misty was great and handled everything perfectly. She was worth every penny. She knew vendors within my budget and helped me pull off a great wedding without spending a fortune.

Misty is the best wedding planner... I interviewed many people for the job, and she was by far the most professional and flexible. I highly recommend Misty for any of your party or event planning. You event will be a success no matter the challenges!

Misty did an excellent job with presenting me options with venues, caterers, etc. She was able to assist in carrying out my vision for my wedding day. She is a hard-worker and was very reliable, in reflection my only suggestion would be for her to have more assistance on the day of the event. She really is a one woman team!

Misty went above and beyond and was worth every penny!!

They were awesome, and when problems happened at my wedding Misty was right there fixing it. Definately worth the money.
