WE used JASON for our wedding and LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!! He made sure people were dancing, was very professional, and totally made sure everything went well and smooth, WE TOTALLY RECOMMEND JASON! :)

DJ's Unlimited was a bit of a rollercoaster, but I ended up with more positives than negatives. They organized a pre meeting that was really informative and helpful. There is always someone in the office when you call. They were able to provide my ceremony music at the last minute. However, they played a couple wrong songs for the garter toss and first dance.....luckily I didn't really mind since I had just gotten married! Also, a couple times when I called up to their office they seemed to have lost my paperwork (but they always found it). In the end, the guys who actually worked the wedding were fantastic and actually helped my mom with cleanup!

The DJ had everything correct for the ceremony. However during the recpetion, the music was off. It was suppose to be more directed to dancing having fun music. It was more like techno music, and soso. There were good times, although I wish the music was somewhere different, but the day was still amazing.

I used DJ's Unlimited for my December 2008 wedding and I have mixed feelings about the experience. My fiance and I met with John a couple months prior to the event to pick all of our songs and outline the whole reception. John was very helpful and professional
The actual event was not quite as great. Our DJ butchered one of my bridesmaid's names when he was announcing us. Then, he played the entire track of our first dance songs (which were loooong songs) even though I had specified to fade the music off after 2 minutes of each.
I totally agree with the reviewer who stated that her DJ played all of her top requested songs during the dinner and then played junk when everyone was ready to dance. I had to actually go up to the DJ several times to ask him to kick up the dance music because NO ONE was out there dancing.
Finally, I was totally disappointed when he botched our last dance song. We had chosen "Take me home tonight" by Eddie Money to do a really funny last dance. After, he was supposed to instruct the guests to go get their rose cones and line up for our exit. Instead, he started the song while simultaneously telling everyone to exit and get their rose cones. WTF?? My new husband and I were left on the dance floor alone for the last dance.
I am one who believes that great energy and music are important for a good party and our DJ did not provide that at all. I wouldn't recommend DJ's Unlimited.

I was really shocked to read some of the other reviews listed here. We had a great experience with DJ's Unlimited. We did pay the extra money to have Jeff Raines himself as our DJ, which was worth every penny. The DJ for a wedding is probably one of the most important things you can choose. He is Master of Ceremonies and sets the tone and mood for the course of the night. Jeff was fabulous, professional, and attentive. He played everything we asked for and he knows how to work a crowd. We could not have been any more pleased with the job he did.

My only real complaint is the music that was played at the reception didn't really follow our requests that we gave in our meetings prior to the event. We specifically told them nothing from any decade prior to 1970, but somehow Chubby Checkers got played. I was mortified when we started cutting our cake and "Going to the Chapel" started playing. We are sooooo not that couple and it was the cheesiest moment ever. Other than that, our guy was nice and very well dressed and took all of our requests! Good people, and I've used them now 3 times for something and will use them again in the future.

We were very pleased with the services provided by DJ's Unlimited. While they were a preferred vendor at the venue we were using, I would highly recommend them to others I know. The DJ played a very good mix of music which kept the crowd dancing all night long. He also stayed with the provided time line from our venue to keep the reception paced and on time. Wonderful!

*****- 5 Stars for Exceptional! Jeff really help to put all the strings of the event together. From helping to coordinate the music for live entertainment (TORO from Houston Texans) to calling out couple trivia during the night... to then incorporating special tributes to family members- Jeff did it all. He was very professional during all facets of the evening including his attire and comments. The extra funds to book Jeff are well worth it!!!!!

My DJ from DJ's Unlimited was very unprofessional. He annouced us twice when we did not know it; therefore, we were not at the right place and everything looked silly. He also did not have the music ready for our first dance. I was very disappointed with some things at the reception because of the poor quality of the DJ. (It was also mentioned to us that he was drinking a lot of alcohol.)

The DJ was a little disappointing since we didn't hear all of the songs we requested and some songs we specifically requested not to hear. But all in all, everyone thought the DJ was fun and that was what we had hoped for.

The communication leading up to the day was lacking in some ways. I felt like I never got a good answer to my questions. Someone called me the day before the wedding asking about one of our songs and had the wrong date... that scared me. But, the DJ we had was FABULOUS. We all loved him and he played exactly what we wanted. We aren't big on dancing, but our some of our guests were. He played the perfect songs for the crowd. All in all it was a great experience

Our DJ was Jeff Rainey and he did a great job for our wedding reception. We had a quartet for the wedding music, then Jeff came in and took over for our reception. He was very professional and played all the music we wanted and more! Did a great job providing microphones and also getting the receptions going for a great time!
