I've been meaning to write a review for a long time about my daughter's wedding reception at New World Landing, in Pensacola, in October, 2011.

Every time my daughter or I communicated with someone at their office by phone or email, we experienced nothing but friendly, professional advice and service. We were happy to learn that they use music that doesn't have explicit words or if they are songs you really want with just a few bad words, they use an edited version that's clean. Their online tool for music selection was easy to use and their planning tool helped us think about what parts she wanted in her reception.

I can't remember which reception package we chose, but we added the uplights and did they ever make a nice atmosphere in the room! My daughter had seen their photo booth at a friend's reception and would have added that, but it was already booked.

When she met with her assigned DJ, Barry, early in the week of the wedding, he helped guide her through the timing of events for the reception and the selection of music. At the reception, family and guests had a great time, as the whole event was wonderfully orchestrated by Barry! He told them he would sing a few songs for them, if they wished, which they did but forgot all about it until he sang to them. They were amazed, as he sang like a cross between Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble, to everyone's delight!

Needless to say, I would highly recommend A DJ Connection for a wedding reception or any other event you have planned.

Christian was absolutely amazing, even with all the last minute changes we had to make the day of the wedding, he was ready and willing to do anything we needed. He was a great emcee and DJ keeping the party going all night. He was dressed for the occasion and ready to go.

We had Shawn for our DJ from A DJ Connection and he was great! He fit in with our style and really knew how to keep the crowd entertained. He was very professional. I think a lot of brides are worried they'll have a cheesy dj, but on their website, you are able to review a bio of all their dj's. Shawn came recommended to us, and we are very glad we chose him for our dj.

A DJ Connection provided us with our reception and ceremony music recently. The ceremony setup was very nice and the sound was excellent for a beach wedding. Shawn and Michael provided the music for our reception (along with another DJ but I didn't catch his name). They did an excellent job at keeping our smaller group entertained and on the dance floor. Several times Shawn joined us on the dance floor to teach the moves to a song. I had spoken with both Shawn and Christian prior to my wedding date and they were both very professional and detailed in our conversations. I was planning this as a destination wedding so it was a relief to me to find a DJ company who went above and beyond to make our reception special!

Shawn was the best d.j. and went way beyond his duties. He got out on the dance floor to teach them how to do the electric slide and the chicken dance, he showed my new husband how to cut the cake, and he worked the crowd to make everyone have the best time dancing. I would not hire anyone else!!! Shawn should be everyone's first choice!

The whole team at A DJ Connection were a pleasure to work with; they were friendly and professional, ready with ideas and always available with advice. My daughter's evening reception was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks guys!

Absolutely wonderful!!! Great value and customer service. Did an excellent job making everyone feel comfortable and feel involved. They did an excellent job at coming through at the last minute b/c our original DJ would not return our calls. Thank you so much!!!

Shawn with A DJ Connection came highly recommended by my wedding planner and he certainly didn't disappoint! We met with him the week of the wedding to go over music we liked and the feel we wanted during our reception. He played everything we requested and even found a few suprises we really enjoyed. And he had my groom smitten when he let him and all his guy friends sing a little karaoke! He definitely knew how to get the party started when the grandmas were gone =) He was VERY professional and was a great dj AND emcee! We looked into other DJ companies but they were way overpriced. A DJ Connection was affordable and we were really really happy with our choice!

Christian was awesome. He had a great attitude and was extremely flexible. The website for DJ Connection was very good towards organizing my play list and time-line.

Ken was our DJ from A DH Connection, he was a very nice guy and an excellent DJ. Ken was there for our ceremony and reception. We paid $750 which I thought was kind of pricey.

At my reception, I wanted a big party. That's what I got with A DJ Connection. The DJ read the audience really well, slowing down and speeding up the songs as needed. Also, the DJ did something unexpected, but a lot of the guests enjoyed. The DJ suprised everyone and had all of the people on the dance floor get into lines and do the soul train. It was pretty entertaining! My DJ also worked with my planner to coordinate everything at the reception so everything went smoothly.

A DJ Connectiion more than exceeded our expectations. Their availability to both email and meet with us prior to our event made for stress-free planning. We also appreciated their willingness to provide suggestions, yet always reminding us that they were happy to do whatever we wanted.

We could not have imagined our wedding reception going any better! We have heard nothing from our friends and family but how much fun they had! We had our doubts about our friends and family participating in the reception fun and were shocked to see our grandparents among many others shaking it on the dance floor.

Matt and Christian MC'd one awesome party that is still being talked about months later! We would recommend A DJ Connection to anyone!!!

No need for a wedding planner with these guys. The really made the reception fun. Great music selection
