Distinctive Details provided the linens and chairs for my wedding. They got our order right even though we changed it a couple times. Overall, I had a good experience with them.

This was one of the easiest parts of my wedding. The chair covers we used are the slip kind to create the square backs. Elyse was amazing! The price was great, as soon as I picked out what I wanted I had nothing to worry about! They set up every chair, tied the ties and picked everything up. It was such a relief to not have to micromanage them or stay on top of them the whole time. I had nothing to worry about and it was beautiful. I also loved that the ties and covers didn't have a ton of fold lines in them, they looked steamed and had great lines. I am very thankful!

Our experience with Distinctive Details was terrible. We were referred to them through our venue, which had a relationship with Distinctive Details to provide linen rentals.

They were initially very helpful and accommodating, however in the end, we decided to make a smaller order with them than originally discussed. We never had a contract with Distinctive Details. They had an agreement with our venue to provide discounted service to clients of the venue, but there was no contract between us and their company. There ended up being confusion a few days before the wedding (after our repeated attempts to contact them, with no response) and the final order was contested. They had no idea what we needed, or how many, or really anything at all. When we informed them of the order we had placed, they responded angrily and refused to change the order and insisted that per the terms of our contract (which we did not have and they could never produce), we pay them for things we did not order. After much back and forth between Distinctive Details, our venue, and another vendor, the situation was resolved, though unsatisfactorily.

Distinctive Details ended up being paid for services not rendered, and then had the gall not to show up with the things we did order and for which they received payment.

Provided my linens, chargers, etc. They turned out beautifully.

There are so many colors and fabrics to choose from that any bride could easily get lost. However, the traditional chair covers are affordable. I especially loved the covers with the foam inserts; they completely transformed otherwise boring hotel chairs into elegant, whimsical creations.
