I went to Dillard's for my shoes and make-up. Both departments were wonderful (shoe salesman and Lancome counter).

I went to a few bridal stores and searched online for a non-traditional dress. However, I had a hard time finding one that I really loved. That is, until I went into Dillard's. I found a dress that was a size too big for me. However, that was the dress that I thought would have a "wow" factor on my big day. As a result, yy dress was purchased from Dillard's during Prom season. The dress was about $130 when I purchased it. However, during the same week, I found out that Dillard's was having a 1/2 off sale. I went back to the store with my dress, and asked if I could get the discount. I did!!! Because the dress was a little bit bigger than I needed it to be, I was able to get it altered at Dillard's at a minimal price. The staff was very helpful during this process, and I was very pleased with the results. My husband was also - he cried when he saw me walking down the aisle :-)
