I would love to rate this vendor with 5 stars, but the my experience did not end with a 5 star experience.

Let me begin with my dress. My dress ended up being absolutely beautiful and was the best decision I made. My initial visit to Diane's was great. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. However, I was disappointed with the service when I went to go pick up my dress. I was not greeted until after 10 minutes of my arrival, and the staff was very rude towards me and my maid of honor.

They were the second place I went to, I didn't find my dream dress but I found one. They don't allow you to take pictures until you have paid for the dress and I am the type that needs to look and see what the picture shows. I felt very rushed, they had a packed house and then they couldn't order in my dress. I had to call them and check on the status of my veil, I just wish they could have been more about the bridal party then rushing us. My mom flew and favorite friend flew in from MO for the weekend to help me with this decision and I was just dissaponited.

Diane's was great to work with. I found my dress and had it ordered in less than 2 hours and was also able to find a dress in the budget I had set. This was the only bridal salon that I visited and decided to go there because I had several friends who had purchases their gowns there. Their alterations lady was great to work with too! I give "flexibility" only 4 stars because I live 45 minutes away and I would have to take a little more time off work to make some appointments, but that is mainly for my decision to shop that far away.

Diane's has a wide selection of dresses and gives you professional, personal service. I loved my dress! My sister also got her wedding dress at Diane's. She actually tried one on at another shop, but the same dress at Diane's was cheaper! So, she bought it there and was very happy with the quality of service as well as the alterations done on her gown.

My experience purchasing my dress was excellent. The staff was very professional and the organization within the store was amazing. They allowed me to look through dresses to pick out some to try on, but they also began asking me questions to narrow down my "style", which I eventually found.

My only complaint was with the seamstress. She was very demanding about what time I showed up, and she was not willing to be flexible. She was very unprofessional, and frankly down right rude, and she is very expensive. If I were to purchase a dress from Diane's I would NOT recommend using their seamstress!!!

Excellent service! I LOVED the dress I got there and it was cheaper here than at some of the other local shops. Alterations were also amazing.

Everyone had always mentioned to check out Diane's Formal Affiar in Jasper, Alabama which is about an hour and a half from where we live. It was definitely worth the drive the couple times that we had to travel there. They have a ton of dresses so they are bound to have whatever dress that you have always dreamed of at a very competitive price. And not to mention the quality of the dresses...fabulous! This was the very first place that we went when it was time for me to start dress shopping and the third dress I tried on was it! If you don't want to go all over town looking for dresses Diane's Formal Affair is the place to go.

They were too much of a headache!! They only place really in town though!

This place is a RIP OFF.

Go instead to someplace reputable.

We found my bridesmaid dresses at Diane's. Everyone there was VERY helpful and we were even able to do it over the phone instead of having to drive up there! They are so sweet and are super helpful with reminders for payments, deadlines, etc. Great dress shop!

This place has great service and very nice people. I enjoyed trying to find a wedding dress at Diane's. The only complaint I have is that I thought they should've ordered me a smaller size. And when the dress finally came in, it was a little big. But that is my only complaint. I would recommend buying a dress here!

Diane's Formal Affair was the first and last place I went searching for my wedding the dress. It was easy and stress free to find the perfect dress for me, with all the help I received at the bridal boutique. The employees at Diane's were very helpful and treated me as a "one of a kind" bride, with the up most attention and concern. The only part of the whole experience that I was not satisfied with is my alteration situation. We only had a 6 month engagement, so the timing was tight. I did pay the extra fee to have my dress rush delivered. I had heard so many wonderful things about Diane's Alteration's services, but by the time my dress came in, the seamstress was booked. I ended up being force to take it to a local/regular alterations business... during middle of my reception, the bustle on my dress snapped!

My experience with Diane�s formal wear was quite the opposite of my experiences with many of the larger informal stores. There were no constraints on the number of dresses I could try on, and it was so pleasant to see all brides being treated the same. The young ones, the older ones like me, those with smaller budgets, and those who needed larger sizes. It was a breath of fresh air. Barbara helped both my mom and I feel like the only people in the store, and I�m so happy I made the trip from Georgia to shop there with my mom. Not only did I find �the dress�, I found it at a good deal and from a group of ladies who treated every bride in that room with respect and the dignity any lady should be treated with when shopping for their wedding dress.

I shopped at several places and after i found Diane's I knew I didn't want to shop anywhere else. I loved the personal attention I got. I was able to find everything I needed, including a veil, jewelry, shoes and bridesmaids dresses. They even made sure my bridesmaids placed their order :-) Plus, the prices were the best I found. I just felt at home at Diane's. This is the only place I would ever suggest anyone near Alabama shop!
