My parents hired Taren to help with the day of wedding planning. She did an absolutely superb job and recommended a team of wonderful vendors. All of the vendors we used helped to make our wedding day truly amazing. If you want a planner who will do their job and leave you with no worries, Taren will be perfect for you. In addition, thank you to her assistants who helped out on the day of as well.

We hired Taren as our wedding planner about a year before we got married and it was the best decision we could have made. Taren is amazing at what she does, she listens to what you want and the vision you have in your head and does everything, and I do mean everything in her power to make it come true. She is always on time and professional, she understands that things and ideas change and truly cares about you as a bride and a person. The team of vendors that she works with and introduces you to are amazing as well and you would be wise to follow her advice. If you want a wonderful wedding planning experience and a stress free wedding day you will work with Taren and her team. When I hired Taren we were 2 weeks out from our wedding. As it turned out, the florist I had hired was not going to do the things I wanted done. Taren made sure that we got another florist before the wedding, and they were fantastic! All I can say is, Taren will make sure that EVERYTHING is absolutely perfect on your wedding day....She made sure mine was!

I hired Diamond Receptions to handle my daughter’s Rehearsal and Day of events. My daughter and I were well prepared for our first meeting with Taren whereupon the three of us communicated exactly what we expected of each other. Taren was always on time for meetings and dressed for business.

Skipping ahead to the day of the wedding, Taren arranged for timing and delivery of all vendor materials and set up as well as placement of any religious and special personal items. Her assistant, Lynn, was with my daughter and catered to her every need. She was outstanding. Never once did Taren overstep any boundaries or make decisions without consulting either my daughter or myself. She worked very well with the other vendors and left them to do their jobs and she did hers. If the photographer needed more time, she adjusted accordingly.

Taren was present when needed and not present when not needed. After the wedding, she washed and packaged all of our personal items that were used during the wedding and gave them back in their original condition.

I have a very strong personality as does Taren, but with mutual respect and constant communication, I was able to completely relax and enjoy every moment of my daughter’s wedding day while she executed our visions…

You and your team were very professional throughout the whole wedding process. Everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to, and you definitely knew what you were talking about in terms of any questions I had. Very helpful, no question was left un answered. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more professional wedding planner than you.

Sorry for the delay, as you can imagine it has been a little crazy around here! Thank you again for everything, we definitely could not have done it without you guys!! Everything was a 5! You of course were so organized and knew everything that we needed, and all of your staff were absolutely wonderful. They all helped me in so many little ways and really made everything perfect! If I had any questions or concerns you guys were there with an answer right away! You all carried yourselves with such professionalism! Taren was my wedding planner for my wedding just this past weekend, and I have to agree with the last post, she is a bit belittling and yes...it is her way or the highway! (forget the idea of it being your wedding!) She was good at getting some of the things together and prepared, but her personality just clashes with EVERYONE! I can honestly say I wouldn't reccomend her to anyone I care about...

Everyone who has worked with Taren at some point, whether they want to admit it or not, can agree on one thing...it's her way or the highway!
I hate writing anything bad about anyone, but still to this day people that were at my wedding are still complaining about her and her personality. Taren is belittling, non-understanding, and a complete embarrassment.
One example, that really set it off was when the bridal party arrived at the reception site (which was outside, under a tent, in 95 degree weather.) and she had to have the sides of the tent down because she thought it was prettier that way. When we arrived, we were paraded by our guests complaining about the "no breeze" and it being too hot to stay, and when they asked Taren if they could open the tent up she told all of them "I won't do it because the bride paid for these sides of the tent and they set the ambiance of the night!" I was so livid when I found this out, I made them take them down immediately. The only reason they were purchased was just in case it rained. We lost about 25% of our guests because of this little scenario. Another scenario was the rehearsal the night before. I had all of my music planned out with the sound guys and she stepped in on that parade also! She came in, changed it all up, once again embarrased me by going on with this long speech telling me why I should be ok with the music she picked out instead! Taren is a nightmare! She single-handedly ruined my wedding. Instead of hearing what every bride wants to hear, like "your wedding was beautiful" or "your reception was amazing, I had so much fun!" All I heard was "Who was the crazy lady, that refused to let us sit in the church, when we were 10 minutes early!" Oh, yeah, she told people they were too early to the wedding and they had to leave or stay outside! Once again, it was a nightmare!
There are so many senario's that have happened to bring me to this point, but if writing this review helps another bride and groom avoid the nightmare and embarrassment of what happened to us...then it's well worth it.
My advice, just save your money, get friends and family to help plan the wedding, and please if you have to hire a wedding planner, than get to know their personality and demenour. If it's hard to deal with at first, trust me..it only gets worse!!

Diamond Receptions totally made our day PERFECT!!! Thank goodness all we needed to do was just enjoy "our" day! THANK YOU!

I hired Taren 2 weeks before my wedding and she did an amazing job. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner! She took care of everything! Taren went above and beyond what I asked her to do. She made certain everything ran smoothly on my wedding day and that everything was perfect. She even brought in some of her own special suprises that really made the reception! When my Photographer bailed on me 2 days before my wedding Taren had a replacement within the hour and he was amazing! This woman really knows what she is doing and will make certain that everything is perfect the bride is not stressed or worried about anything! I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. As soon as I hired her all of my worries went out the window and I was really able to enjoy the week before and after my wedding! Thanks so much Taren!

Thought I'd give you a while to get over my MOB stress. lol I want to thank you for all that you did for us. The wedding was fabulous and everyone said how wonderful it was and how much they enjoyed it. Please thank your "people" too. None of my friends can believe I was as stress free as I was. I am so glad I get to make a comment on Diamond Receptions, It was the morning of my daughters wedding and I found out the caterers forgot to order the table clothes for the reception. Well needless to say I was in a panic. I happen to have heard of Diamond Receptions and so I gave Taren a call and left her a message, she promply called me back and she not only got me my table clothes but she got them at a discount. She also went and picked them up for me and delivered them but she help to decorate the room for us. She did a fabulous job the room was so beautiful I'm not sure what I would have done without her.
