Our wedding cake, made by Desserts by Dana, was AMAZING!!!! The many options offered are enough to make one's head spin, especially since all of it is delicious. Working with Netesha at Desserts by Dana was a smooth process, even when I chose to totally redesign the cake after we had agreed on something else. She answered all of my questions and provided pertinent information along the way. Every step of the process, from the tasting to the delivery, was exceptional.

My husband and I were looking for someone to do our cake for our wedding ..
I am a serious cake person so that is a priority for me. I called Dana Cakes.
set up an appointment. Which cost us $25 bucks for a tasting No REFunds..
It was horrible we have never tasted cake like this or had samples in this fashion. It was like bit size cakes that you had to put your own icing on. The cake bits which we were only permitted 4 each to try. The cake was dry ..There were flies flying around the room trying to land on the food we sampled as well. I believe Acme, and Shoprite make better tasting cake than this. I have no idea how it got the rating of tasting good. And your tasting deposit is not refundable .. The staff that we delt with was not very nice and felt like it was oh well to so said you didnt like it and to bad. Your not getting your money back.



Needless to say we choose another vendor to make our cake and we were quite pleased. Generally at tasting when you ladies go they will give you a few slices of different type of cakes to taste and sample.
I have recommended to every person I know and that of my friends to never just go by what TV voted ... Our mothers can bake better homemade cakes than this for sure...

IF your more so about the look of it then I really loved the models in the room.
We cared about taste and it sucked....( and We had 2 other people with us who thought it also sucked)

Dana was wonderful to work with. The picture of the cake I wanted was only one layer, and Dana turned it into a gorgeous 4 layer cake to meet the needs of our 200 guests. We changed some of the decoration details a few times, but each time Dana worked with us and the cake turned out exactly as I had hoped. It was gorgeous!! And, just as importantly, it was delicious!! I would 100% recommend Dana to anyone looking for the perfect cake.

My husband and I went with Dana for our wedding cake because he was the only baker who actually answered his phone when we called - I must have left Sweets to You by Ginger 3 voicemails before someone called me back, and then that person was rude to me when I told her I found another baker! The cake he made us was amazing looking. We described to him what we wanted, which was a different, funky, kind of spooky Halloween wedding cake, and he didn't bat an eye. That was refreshing after having so many vendors act like we were crazy for getting married on Halloween! He found a cake online and made us a similar style with different colors. My only issue was he was late delivering the cake. It was supposed to be at the venue by 4:30 (if I'm remembering correctly) but it actually got there after 6:00. Guests had already started to arrive, and my dad was freaking out. Luckily I wasn't there yet, so I had no idea what was going on!

Dana's cakes are awesome! He designed our groom's cake (a VW camper van) and not only was the design amazing, the cake was so delicious. Great designs, taste, and value.

I surprised my husband with a groom's cake in the shape of a robot. Using a picture of a similar cake I found on the Internet, Dana was able to recreate the cake for a very reasonable price. The cake looked and tasted awesome! I would totally recommend Desserts by Dana!
