This company had advertised a special on chair cover rentals on the internet. I had contacted the owner several times through phone calls/voice mail and did not hear a response back. After a week of not hearing from anyone, the owner called me back and asked me to come meet at her location on that Sunday around 1pm. I was to call the owner and confirm the appointment and get directions to the location. After calling her back several times on the sunday to get an address I gave up - her lack of response indicated to me that she would likely not follow through on the day of my big event!
Designs by Anita responded with the following comments:
I provided my address information via email to this bride-to-be and she never showed up at 1PM. I have never had a problem with any of my couples and I have been in business for over 6 years.

Unfortunately, my experience with Designs by Anita was similar to Bushracat's. I too found her online and tried to contact her in order to set up an appointment. Her responsiveness was incredibly poor and when an appointment was finally arranged, she contacted me the morning of to cancel it via text message (not even a phone call). I understand things come up, but her lack of courtesy (no apologies) was unsettling. Further, even though I requested more information, I never received anything.
Designs by Anita responded with the following comments:
I am sorry you felt that way. Your initial email was Mon. Oct. 26th at 12:35 PM and I responded exactly 30 mins later at 1:05PM. To me, that is a very quick response. You were actually contacted the evening before around 6:30pm when I cancelled the appt, as I had the flu. Since, I didn't receive a reponse from you, I sent you a text message at 7:29AM, as I didn't want to call you at that time, as I thought it would be rude and too early for a Sunday morning.

Things didn't come up, I was very sick and for the sake of my clients and especially the H1N1 flu, I didn't want anyone to get sick.
I am sorry if you didn't think that I had enough courtesy.

Information was sent this morning regarding decor as I wasn't able to access my computer prior.

Anita provided great service on the day of my wedding. I had the full decor service from her. She provided the backdrop, head and cake table decor, fresh rose petals and spot lights and I also got her great deal on the candelabras, in which she delivered, setup and removed everything. It's been a couple of months and I am still receiving rave reviews about the decor and how everything looked.

Anita was very personable, quick to reply to my emails and reasonably priced.
This is 1 vendor I didn't have to worry about. Thanks again Designs by Anita.

This vendor provided me with my wedding reception decorations including the chair covers. Anita was very flexible and open to hearing about our budget and she was able to work within it. She got back to all of my emails and at times when I needed clarification or details, she was happy to respond. The value for the service I received was excellent. I am so happy with the actual result and I have even referred her services to other brides-to-be who are looking for the services she provides.

Anita at Designs by Anita was wonderful. She was very professional, accomodating and made our planning easy and worry free. During our wedding day, our venue looked beautiful with her chair covers and candelabras. Anita was also patient and flexible when our guest numbers changed. Anita is a wonderful decorater. She took the time to meet me personally, discuss with me the different options I could choose from, and most importantly, she was able to provide a beautiful decor for my reception in the price range that I needed. Overall, I believe that she is a professional decorater who works hard to make sure that the client is happy. I would highly recommend her for any occasion!
