I was late in shopping for my dress, and was told when I went to Deidre's that I would have to buy something off the rack, as they didn't have time to order me something (It was 3 1/2 months til my wedding.) While I was disappointed, I was able to find something I loved and the price was good. The sales associate was so-so: she helped me out, but refused to let my fiance with me in the dressing room to help me zip up dresses. They made me step out of the room in front of the whole store with a dress half on so that they could zip it up. As a shy person, the whole experience was very embarrassing. Fittings went essentially the same way. Constantly on display in front of everyone. The original sales associate also kept talking to me like I wouldn't be able to afford the dress I picked out, which is offensive. When I returned for fittings, the staff was much nicer, and Deidre who does the alterations was very nice and professional. While the overall experience was not bad, if I had not found a dress I loved early-on I would not have used them, due to the fact that I constantly felt uncomfortable and awkward being half dressed in the middle of the store. I would have appreciated a more private experience.

Deidre and her staff were fantastic. They did not hesitate to call when my dress or shoes came into the store the staff was helpful and always so happy to see us. They were able to take my dress the day after the wedding and send it out to be preserved.

Speical Day at Deidre's is an amazing place for dress shopping and the whole "Bridal Experience." They are so attentive to your every question and request. I tried on tonnnns of dresses and Deidre's was one of the few places that truely listened to what I was looking for and stayed within my price range. I had tried my dress on at another store prior to shopping at Deidre's, but wasn't ready to make a decision then. After spending time at Deidre's, I knew this is where I needed to make my purchase. They actually special ordered my dress, since they did not carry a sample in the store and it was $500 cheaper than the first place I saw it! The whole process was hassel free and they are willing to bend over backwards to make sure you are completely satisfied and comfortable in your dress on your wedding day. My only complaint was with the woman who does alterations, she was very curt and opinionated at times if you didn't like how something was done. The rest of the experiece was exceptional!

I found my dream dress at Deidre's so I decided it would be easiest to get my bridesmaids,maid of honor dresses, as well as tuxedo's here. The quality was great. However, everytime I called no one knew anything. I was constantly told different information, needless to say they had me running around in circles. This wasn't that awful. However, our tuxedos didn't arrive until the day before and the day of the wedding. The women who measured my husband, father, and father-in-law did an awful job, and as a result they were too big to fix. We didn't have one grooms men's shoes until about two hours before the wedding, and when my mother-in-law brought back a couple of tuxedos, there was a pair of shoes missing. She asked if they could bring them back the next day, and they continued to give us a hard time after almost not having parts of our tuxedos for the wedding and having tuxedo's too large. However, they get their tuxedo's from another company so this may have been the problem. I would only recommend getting dresses from this company.

They are an intimate local shop. They carry name brand designers and are very receptive to what you want! I went in and found a dress I really liked I later went back to buy it and they said wait we have something else try it on just in case, and I did and fell in love with that! They could have let me buy the more expensive dress but they didnt, they knew what I liked and fortunately it was cheaper! I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses because they had one that were the same style so everything coordinated!

I loved this shop. Highly recommended.
