My shopping experience was fantastic. They were all so helpful and accommodating, I was very happy to have bought my dress from DB!

Alterations…different story. Difficult to communicate with and very limited on appointment times for fittings and pick-up.

I bought my gown from David's Bridal in Yonkers on my first trip out. My mother and I went down just to look and I found the perfect dress. Since it was the first trip to a store we made, we put the dress on layaway for a few months while I looked elsewhere. While the service we received would have been more personalized and focused at a smaller dress boutique, Jessica was great and spent a decent amount of time with me and even picked out some contenders.
If you don't need the Kleinfeld attention, then David's is a wallet friendly alternative to the boutique scene

I got both my wedding dresses at David's. My first was a beautiful lace dress I wore for the ceremony. The second, a ballgown, which was on sale for $400, so I couldn't pass it up. The staff was responsive and supportive when I wasn't sure which dress I should choose. They weren't pushy by any means. I was told the dress would not be in for months, but it came within two weeks of my order. Unfortunately, David's does not keep it, so I had to pick up the dress 9 months before my wedding. That was hard, and kinda inconvenient. Also, I had my alterations and wanted the dresses resteamed because I felt like they had been hanging for too long, but David's was resistant to re-steaming. They said it would be $80 per dress to steam again. I went to a cleaners instead, where they only charged $20 per dress.
I would recommend David's to friends, though it is not the boutique experience you might have at a higher end store - I was still very satisfied with the service, prices, quality and final products.

I got married in Arpil, 2011. I got my weddind dress along my wedding parties gowns there. It was the worst experience ever. Although I was lucky that my dress was okay, I nver got it altered there nad made teh decision to by the reception dress elsewhere. Every time I went to get it altered, Brides would be standing there crying because they messed up their dress. I couldn't take that chance so I took my dress somewhere else. Then I took out a Daivds Bridal credit card and they canceled all credit cards b/c of a dispute with the lending company without my knowledge, never issued me a new card and then asked to re apply. So I was paying on a card that was closed, never got notified and they wanted me to take out a new card. They treated my bridal party terrible, we always waited for long periods of time to get service, they were rude, unorganized, not knoweledgeable at all and unprofessional. It was more of a headache than anything. Ladies, you can find beautful dresses at affordable prices alse where. Don't waste your time or get your bridal party frustrated by going here. They didnt even have the time to call my bridal party when there dresses arrived and threatened to send them back if they didnt pick them up right away even though they were paid for. Dont do it ladies, it will be a big mistake especially if you have a large wedding party.

I purchased my bridesmaids and flower girl dresses here. Service was pretty awful a couple of the times I visited. Avoid this place at all costs on weekends if you want any sort of personal attention. Aside from the service aspect and the pushy vendors the chain is renowned for, the store does have some pretty good variety for anyone on a budget. You're sure to find something to your liking. The fact that it's a chain made it easier to make sure my bridesmaids in different states were able to order the same dress without significant travel expenses. I did choose a dress from their prom selection for my bridesmaids, which meant it was not available at all DB locations and had to be ordered before prom season was over and it was discontinued. The staff at the DBs my bridesmaids visited were helpful about finding similar styles for them to try on and get an idea of size with when the dress I chose was not available in-store. Thankfully, all my bridesmaids got their dresses, which were stunning enough I went ahead and borrowed one of them afterwards for another wedding I had to attend.

David's bridal did a really great job with not only my dress, but my entire bridal party's dresses as well. I had a rather large bridal party and they really worked with us through every alteration, change, inquiry, etc. You can't beat the prices, and the quality was pretty great.

I would definitely recommend them.

The prices are great at David's, there's no doubt. My dress was perfect in every way and the alterations department were awesome! Especially Angela!!! She really catered to my needs and worked fast to get everything done on time.

They were great. I got compliments for the dress all night. However, they are not too flexible with returns or other services there. In spite of that I would still recommend them.

I purchased my dress and had it altered at Davids. I had no probles at all. When I initially ordered my dress, they told me it would be in in 12 weeks. They called me 3 weeks later and told me the dress was in. I was so happy. It came in and it was perfect. All I needed was a bustle and a tiny bit taken in. Angela who is the head of alterations was fab, I brought in a pic of the bustle I wanted (it was a 9 point french bustle) and she replicated it with no problem. The work was done perfectly. I also ordered the bridesmaid dresses from there and my mom purchased her dress there as well. Everyone was surprised that everything went perfectly. The only downside to davids is that it get SUPER crowded on Saturdays and that is kind of annoying. I dont know why they bother with the appointments because they accept walk ins anyway.

My dress was only 349 and I spent 175 on alterations. Which is great because I had 1500 budgeted for my dress.
My BM dresses were 175 and they spent bet 50-100 on alterations.
My moms dress was 225 and she spent 150 on alterations.

I loved them because I am a size 14 and they were able to find me a wedding dress in my size without me feeling like I am too big for a wedding dress.

Dress was beautiful, they were pretty good with the short time i gave them (less than a month). BUt my hem was still uneven 2 days before the wedding. It got fixed though!

Budget bridal says it all. You get what you pay for. Cluttered, unorganized, no privacy whatsoever, Be ready for everyone in the store to comment on every selection make. Doesn't get better when you go for the fitting, actually is more cluttered and disorganized. My dress was cleaned poorly with some chemical cleaner that left a water stain on it down the bodice. Nobody noticed, but UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Good job on my wife's wdding dress!

David's Bridal is a great place to go for a relatively nice dress at an affordable price. But the service at this David's Bridal is less than par. I have gone to a couple of David's Bridal's in three different states and the one in Yonkers is always the one I dread going to. First, it's always extremely busy. Second, the staff act like they really don't want to be there. Because they have so many people to deal with all at once, it's very difficult to get undivided attention. I sort of regret going to David's Bridal for my dress, but I wanted to spend less money on the dress so I could spend more money on other things and David's Bridal had the best prices in town for the dress I wanted. I only wish I had gone to a more intimate place so that i would have had more privacy to try on dresses and more attention to my and my mom's needs. However, if you're a person who can be in and out of a store quickly, David's Bridal is both convenient and affordable.

Overall, I had a good experience with Davids Bridal. Although during my appointment, my maid of honor was kicked out of her dressing room to make room for another bride. I kind of felt like a cow in a hurd because it was so busy. The dress was beautiful though and it came in when it was suppose to.
