They were very helpful when a big issue with the dresses came up! They are willing to work with you when you need a new appointment.

I was so impressed with the David's Bridal in Winston-Salem. I had nothing but great experiences there. I bought my dress there, and had all of the bridesmaids', junior bridesmaids', and flower girls dresses ordered from them as well. While I didn't have the best experiences at other David's Bridal stores (I don't live in Winston-Salem, but that's where my wedding was, so I went to several other stores throughout the process), the Winston-Salem store was professional, helpful, fast with service, and made every effort to make me feel like "the bride".

The alterations department was the same as the sales floor and bent over backwards to help design a beautiful detail with a sash I bought to add to my dress. I was especially impressed with Kristi (Sales) and Veronika (Alterations). But again, everyone was nice and so helpful!

You get a certain impression at a store like David's, but I was honestly happier with them than with any other boutique store I went to. They take better care of their dresses- at several others, the samples were dirty and worn and not properly stored in bags, but not at David's. Again, don't let the idea of a "big box" store ward you off from David's, especially the one in Winston, they made my dress buying experience great and I found a dress that I am confident will be timeless and look beautiful in pictures for years to come.

Found an amazing dress on sale for my bridesmaids. DB made ordering these dresses easy for my girls, who were scattered all across the country. Timely delivery of the dresses and great quality.

Went here for my wedding dress. I wanted something more on the simple side... something kind of funky and different and tried on one dress and I was done. Penny, at the Winston-Salem store had helped me and she was amazing and if you are going there, I would ask for here... she has been working there for about 6 years and really knows the selection very well and had amazing ideas, even for my quirky style. The rest of the staff was very helpful and everything was done professionally and on time. The alterations staff also did a great job on the alterations I had done for the dress.

I used this store for my flower girl and for shoes.

Great people, reasonable prices. I wasn't very happy with the no return policy but I understand why it is in place. My bridesmaids looked wonderful, the dresses were beautiful, including mine. I wanted my dress to be ordered but they insisted I buy the one on the floor and they gave me no discount. They did let me know as soon as they got an item in stock that I had ordered. I ended up getting my bridesmaids gifts, my shoes, and my cake topper from here. Overall it was a good experience.

David's Bridal is defiantly the traditional box store, you get what you see and only what you see. I looked for my Dress here but they were unwilling to alter any of the dresses to what I wanted it to look like. I wanted a dress that was shortened but they were unwilling to change the integrity of the dress. There is nothing unique about the dresses at David's Bridal.
However finding a Bridal Dress here didn't pan out well we did purchase our bridesmaids dresses here. We choose to get the bridesmaids dresses here because I could get ones that went past the knee but were not full length and I could get a matching jacket for one of my bridesmaids. Also the price was affordable because they have dresses on sale or near clearance.
With this being said the communication to my bridesmaids when they came in was not well, the girl helping one of my maids forgot to tell her about the sash on the dress. She had to go back and order it. I received multiple calls saying my girls had not come in or purchased dresses when in fact they had come in and had measurements but the girl helping them never put it in the computer so they had to come back in to get measured and purchase them.

I went to five different bridal shops (some expensive, some cheaper), and after trying on 50 different dresses I went back to the first one I tried on, which was at David's Bridal. They are SO helpful and sweet! The decision was easy and stress free.

Great place to get your wedding dress or wedding party dresses. Lots of styles to try on and pick from. They had all my bridesmaid dresses and wedding dress ready on the dates stated. Not to mention they can preserve your dress as well. I'd recommend them.

When it came to finding my bridal gown, I had an excellent experience. Shawanda helped me find the perfect dress for me. She was so helpful, honest and just nice to work with. She made my dress shopping very enjoyable. The ladies in alterations were super nice as well. As for the bridesmaids dresses and the staff, for some reason there was always alot of miscommunication between the different stores. They would have the wrong information in the system. I had several people in my bridal party that had to go to different David's Bridal's because of where they lived, and it seemed like they all had different names playing different roles in the system which cause alot of confusion. Also, why can't you just walk in a David's Bridal and just browse??? Seems like you constantly have a sales rep on your heels constantly. There were numerous occassions where I went in to look for a cocktail dress for my rehearsal dinner and other occassions and I felt like I couldn't look without someone by my side. Honestly, that made me not want to buy anything because I was so annoyed. They may want to work on that.

When I first went to get my dress my consultant, Mya was very helpful and helped me find a gorgeous and affordable dress. When i went back to have my dress altered, the people in alterations were not near as nice or helpful and it took a while to get my dress out of alterations, so make sure you have at least two months.

I had a wonderful experience finding my dress here. All my bridesmaids got awesome and affordable dresses and shoes here.

My maid of honor's dress was messed up when we received it, and they wouldn't fix it for free, and couldn't order a new one by my wedding date. She ended up wearing a different dress- "whatever she could find in her size in the store". I was FURIOUS!

Overall I was pleased with the looks of my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Did not get as much help trying on dresses as I would have liked. My matron of honor did most of it for me. I was pleased with my alterations, but the cost was pretty high.

AWFUL experience with David's Bridal. Dress was beautiful, I do however think its not right for them to not steam dresses that were not altered with them. First of all, to have my dress altered like I wanted would be crazy expensive and frankly, I have not heard the best from friends about their alterations department. Just my opinion, I will NOT refer anyone to them.

Where do I start? I've visited this store before as I had been previously engaged to another man. At that time I was ignored for 20 minutes and vowed never to return. When I did return, it was against my best judgement. When I did return I was not only given 2 associates to personally show me dresses and help me try them on, the alterations lady herself came our and showed me all the possibilities if I was not 100% happy with the fit or shape of the dress. I found my dress here after trying on at least 80 dresses (not exaggerating here). It fit me perfectly right off the rack and was the shape I'd scoured the state and about 15 other bridal stores for. It looks nothing like the catalog picture, it looks much better on a non-model type person. After this, the various alterations people were tireless in making sure I was happy and re-sewed bustle loops that were too small and pressed my dress 3 different times to ensure it was perfect. Every single time that my original appointment associate was in the store, she ran over and hugged me and both associates that helped me with my original appointment constantly asked me about things and were checking that I was satisfied. I can't believe how great a team I had, all for me! My dress was about $600 including alterations.
