I had a destination wedding in Tucson, Arizona and while I carried my dress on the plan across country- I still needed it pressed for the big day. I contacted the local Davids Bridal in Tucson and they had no problem accomodating my short TAT. They treated me so special and made sure to put my mind at ease. The dress was pressed and ready to be worn a day before my walk down the aisle! I would highly recommend my firends to this location.

David's Bridal made my dress shopping experience wonderful. I was able to get one-on-one attention and found the most perfect dress from the Vera Wang White collection. When it was time to get alterations done I learned that I lost too much weight and the dress was far too big. Fortunately for me, the store manager was kind enough to replace the dress in my new size and rush the order. Everything worked out wonderfully thanks to David's Bridal.

My dress is gorgeous and I was so excited to find it at David's Bridal! While the attendant who helped me was very good at finding exactly what I was looking for when I didn't even know what I wanted myself, the whole staff was kinda lackluster. Every bride wants to feel like their experience is just as exciting and new and wonderful as the last bride who came through, but the staff seemed very bored and disenchanted. They seemed to lack personality, and I felt like I was the 5,000th bride they saw that day. But either way, they got me exactly what I was looking for and that's really important and I'm really grateful to them!

When we went in to look at the dresses, the customer service was excellent. After the purchase, it seemed like I had to explain that I needed to get things done on my timeline, not what they considered to be an acceptable timeline for me. I understand why, if you get it done too early, then something could happen to the dress. But with family coming in early, I did not have time to drive 60 minutes one way to drop off the dress. I thought I had made it clear about having it ready to wear and so I thought they were going to press my dress and when I got it, it was not pressed. So I ended up taking it to the cleaners to be pressed.
I loved the dress, it was beautiful. I would buy it again and I bought the dress in Richmond VA and the Richmond store was very helpful to my bridesmaid.

My dress was fantastic, but the service was lacking. I had my dress bustled at David's Bridal, and they charged me for five buttons, but only put on three. I didn't realize it until I got the dress home, and of course I couldn't find the original paperwork that I had to fill out when I paid (in advance, of course). Luckily the bustle held fine, but it didn't lay flat, and the intricate bead work on my train was hidden all night.

My bridesmaids also had problems. First we went in and decided on a dress, and were promised that it would be fine to order it the following week, after she got paid. When she came back to put in the order, they said she could not order the dress she wanted, and gave us some alternatives that were ugly and much more expensive. Finally I talked to a manager and got them to order the dress, even though it said it would come in the day of the wedding. It came in several weeks early and she didn't need alterations, so all was well. I am more angry that they would say that we could order a dress in a week, then turn around an say that its too late. I'm sure the date didn't change in their system.

Other than the problems I encountered, David's Bridal has some beautiful dresses, and it was definitely one of the most cost effective places I found, and the only store I went to that allows you to buy a dress off the shelf if you are desperate or are planning a quick ceremony. Despite everything, I would still recommend David's Bridal to my friends, if only because of the price.

I did find my perfect dress at David's Bridal in the 99 dollar section. I was in the store at least three times looking for my dress. I had six months so I decided to be very picky and when I found "my perfect dress" the first time I wasn't sure and decided to check elsewhere. That time I had a very pushy and rude salesgirl, but when I came back the second time to look at the dress again the one I got was just fine. The last time I came in I couldn't afford that first dress and went to the 99 dollar section and immediately found the dress that really was perfect for me. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was and at such a wonderful price. The girl I had that time was sweet and not pushy at all. She even helped me into the first dress then my dress about three times each so I could decide. I do recommend this place very much. Hopefully you'll get as lucky as I did.

While my dress was beautiful, the sales people were horrendous. The girl helping was rude and flat out mean. I would never go back or recommend the Tucson location to anyone. Ever.

I had two experinces at Davids
1- as a bridesmaid
2- as a bride

As a bridesmaid service required was minimal and price was low so that experience was ok.
As a bride is was awful. The woman who helped me was mean and took personal offend when I dislike a dress (even though I was being very polite about it simply not being my style). She was also rather rude to my mom and sister interrupting them while they tried to give their input or answer MY questions- it was a really weird interaction which I would never want to repeat.

Ellen was super sweet and allowed to try on dresses without hurrying me along. I looked at several other places in town, but David's provides the most variation and value.

My sales associate at DB was a very nice girl who brought me a lot of great dresses to try-- and I did actually end up buying one of them here. I had a very short timeline, I needed the dress in 8 weeks at the latest (giving myself some time to be safe), which in wedding time, was very short. So the sales associate showed me dresses she assured me would be here in time. She did kind of use my deadline to push the dresses, which didn't make me feel entirely comfortable. But the dress did turn out beautifully.

When I decided on, and was about to buy my dress, the manager lady (not the SA), said the dress would be, if it got here latest, at 10 weeks (only a few days before my wedding). I was like, Whoa-- the SA had just said it would be here earlier. And the manager, who was rather gruff, said it could be here earlier, but they couldn't guarantee it.

We still got the dress and my MIL later called DB lied and said we moved up the wedding, and they said they would be able to get it in really soon because it was in the warehouse after all. So if you want to make DB not take their sweet time, maybe you should call them later and lie about your timeline. I was also later told by a friend/former wedding dress wholesaler, that dress sellers will tell you it takes a long time so that you will pay the rush fee (which I refused to consider doing).

Beware also that when you first register with DB so you can get an appointment, they will send you try to sign you up for lots of email and sell your info to other vendors. Make sure you uncheck (or check, forgot which) that box on the form. I had random calls from florists, and also from the Men's Warehouse, which really annoyed me. Totally unprofessional in my book.

Long story short- you can get some great dresses for a good price, but be prepared to deal with some hassles.

I was so happy to have found my dress at David's Bridal. They did everything I needed to help me find my special dress and then when I needed them to keep it longer (after alterations) (because this dress wrinkles very easy) the alterations ladies were very understanding! They helped me with jewlery, my vail and also my shoes and I LOVED EVERYTHING!

I did not end up buying my dress from David's Bridal in the end, however I used them for all of my extras from my veil to the petticoat to my bra. The girl I worked with there was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was catering and went out of her way to assist us whenever we came in even if it was without an appointment (which I know is a huge pain in the butt for them!) I can not remember her name, but she had long blonde hair, was about 5'2" and has a husband who was a chef (something we had in common!).

Thanks for all your help!

I bought most of my dresses at Davids Bridal. When I went to try on wedding dresses we were set up with a consultant ( I wont mention her name) she asked me about my style and what price range. My mother had decided we should look in the $99 sale. Which im sure most people start there. And thats when everything went wrong! The lady gave my mom the worst look. From that point on she was soooo rude! She acted like we were wasting her time. We pulled a few dresses out from that section plus many other sections. I had 8 dresses total to try on. I went into the dressing room and she gave me a few undergarments to put on. I have never done this before so I didnt know how to put them all on...I asked her for help and she said there isn't enough room for me in there plus I have to put all your dresses out since you picked so many. I was stunned. So I did the best I could with the undergarments and I ended up pulling a muscle in my side!!! When I was done she came in and helped me put my dress on. and YES she closed there door we were able to both fit in there. Im not a heavy set person I weight 135 lbs!!! I put on my second and loooooooved it! It was not a $99 dress it was however being sold as is. I told her this is the one I love this dress and she had the nerve to say ya well you have 6 other dresses here to try on. We didn't pull these out for nothing. I said well I guess you did cuz this is the dress im buying. If I didnt looooove the dress and know it was the one I would have walked out of that store and NEVER came back. I ended up buying the dress and a pair of shoes. I went back a few other times to get other shoes dyed and to look at flower girl dresses PLUS my brother was getting married around the same time so I took his wife there and we had a good time. It was just the lady I got. Everytime I called the people were nice. They dyed my friends and mothers shoes in a timely fashion and I think they put a rush on it for me too so I could get them back right away. So the rating I gave them was based on the lady I had alone. Not on the store.

My experience with David's Bridal started pretty good and went to incredibly stressful the weeks before my wedding. First of all, the saleslady was pretty nice that helped me try on my dresses. She was a little pushy, but she listened to my wishes.

I also had them do the alterations on the dress. I figured they would be best at working on the dress since it was their product. The seamstress pinned a very pretty (but more expensive) bustle, which I had to ask her to redo to the basic three button bustle. However, she seemed to have trouble with the pleating/gathering on the top of my dress. Most of the alterations turned out fine, but one of the pleating alterations I requested was never done.

Then, I was excited to have my dress pressed and steamed by them for free. But, in the process of steaming and pressing it, they not only left a big wrinkle in the front, but they also managed to make the pleats totally deconstruct. I ended up having to go back and forth with them for the three weeks leading up to my wedding, until somebody finally did the work they had promised to do to fix it.
