I LOVED my dress from David's Bridal - but everything else was definitely a disappointment. From my first meeting trying on dresses my consultant was working with four other brides, so she would shove me in a fitting room with a dress and I would have to sit around in the dress waiting for her to come back. If you want to have a consultation that truly makes you feel special (which EVERY bride wants), don't go to David's Bridal in Tallahassee!
Then when I went to alterations, I was sitting around for over half an hour waiting for someone to work with me. Then, when an associate finally came to work with me, I felt like I was being shoved through an assembly line and their only goal was to get me in and out ASAP! She didn't even ask me if I was happy about how the dress fit - she marked the bustles and left! Then another woman came to take the dress from me! I didn't even get to try on my dress in the real alterations room, so I didn't get to see it in a mirror or anything.
In short - this David's Bridal makes it very obvious that they only see their customers as walking money and don't care about making you feel like your wedding is worth taking time for. If you want someplace that will make you feel like a special bride GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

My overall experience with David's Bridal was decent. I worked with various staff members, all friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with alterations. The only thing that needed to be done to my wedding dress was adding bussells...I had to make 4 separate trips...just for that...and I was working with the alterations manager! I went in for my initial fitting at which time she "marked" my dress for the bussells. I went in the second time and she realized that she had only done the bussells on one side of the dress, the third time she was still missing bussells! Finally...on the fourth visit she had them all done. As the wedding got closer, I was rapidly running out of extra time and having to make 4 trips for a simple alteration was very inconvenient. There was constant confusion with our appointments, during my 3rd visit the alterations manager had no idea that I was coming to pick the dress up (as well as all the bridesmaids) even though she was the one that had made that appointment for us. Because she had no idea about out appointment none of the bridesmaids dresses were pressed, so all 5 of them had to make another trip to go pick their dresses up!

As far as the quality of my dress...I loved it! I felt that the price was reasonable and the service was good. You just may need a little extra patience when working with alterations.

I loved my dress, and was glad to find it at Davids--but if I could do it again I would have had my dress altered somewhere else. The service was horrible!!! Every time I went for a fitting it was with a different person. They all did different things. My bra was not in on time and they had to give me one that was used and cleaned with chemicals...long story short I had to hand wash it the night before my wedding. On top of that the price of the alterations and undergarments were more than the cost of the dress.

A lot of people don't like Davids because It's a "big box" store for dresses but they really do have gorgeous dresses that are very affordable. They weren't really good in contacting me when my dress was in but I got it before I needed alterations, so it worked out. I love the dress I picked out. They have tons of styles and brands to choose from and they keep getting new styles every season.

When I had to exchange the dress closer to the wedding date for a larger size, they were happy to help, and ended up calling the corporate store to get the last dress left in the size I needed and I got it just in time to make the final alterations. *whew* The alterations department seems a tiny bit disorganized... At one point they didn't know where my dress was and had to look for it. No major problems.

I loved my dress...do not get me wrong--but the service I received each time I stepped in to DB made me cringe! I would not go back here for anything.

When I had a last minute change to my bridal party they were able to get her in and let her walk out with the dress that day! They were awesome.

I loved my dress; however, the staff was often rude and my alterations took a really, really long time. The last thing a bride needs to worry about is her dress! I did get a beautiful dress for a great price though, so this is the place to shop if you're on a budget and don't mind sub-par customer service.

I bought multiple things from David's Bridal, including my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories. I will review each individual visit.

I made an appointment to go try on wedding dresses. I did not plan on buying a wedding dress that day, but I wanted to go and see what my options were. I was with a male consultant. He was very helpful and grabbed every dress that I wanted to see. Very professional and courteous. I found a dress I loved, but I didn't want to make any snap decisions, so I told him I would come back in a few weeks after I had made my decision. He didn't not pressure me to buy the dress at the time. I went back a few weeks later and bought the dress and took it home with me that day. I was very happy with my wedding dress purchasing experience.

I went in a couple times to try on bridesmaid's dresses with some of my girls. The consultants we had were horrible. If the bridesmaid needed a different size, I had to go and get the dresses for them. I thought that was what the consultant was supposed to be there for, not the bride. All the consultant did was take down our information so she was sure to get the commission from us purchasing dresses.

We had some issue with bridesmaids dresses before the wedding and we had to change the style at last minute (3 months before the wedding). I went into David's Bridal and did not receive any help the entire hour that I was in the store. My maid of honor was in a different David's Bridal store and their manager actually helped me through the process of changing the dress order. My store was no help at all.

I bought a pair of shoes and a bra online. The order process was very quick and simple and I receive the packages within the week. I took the shoes in to get dyed and loved that it only cost $3 per pair. That is an awesome price! The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't call me when my shoes were finished. I had to call them.

Overall, I was no happy with the customer service I got at David's Bridal. They have good quality products for a good price, but they're definitely lacking in other areas.

When I went here, I received HORRIBLE customer service. I walked in and the place was empty but in order to try on a wedding dress, they forced me to make an appointment for another day. I was so mad. I wasn't going to go back, but a couple months, after I had become burnt out on trying on wedding dresses, I suddenly had the urge to try some on. It was a Sunday and the only place open was Davids Bridal. I went there and they actually let me try on dresses without an appointment! The lady was rude and acted annoyed the whole time. I did end up finding my wedding dress, but when the lady found out I didn't want to purchase shoes she got really mad and became even ruder and tried to rush me out. After I purchased my gown, I came back to look at bridesmaid dresses and when they found out I already bought my wedding dress, no one wanted to help me. I do love my dress but hate the service and the store!

Davids bridal has a good enough selection, with dresses in almost every price range. When I went to purchase my wedding dress, they were very professional, accommodating, and nice. I ended up finding the perfect gown, but it was a floor model that was being discontinued. The dress was dirty, and needed one minimal repair. Davids bridal repaired the dress, and told my mother and I that closer to the wedding date we could bring it in for a free cleaning and pressing. Three weeks prior to my wedding date, my mother tried to take the dress in, only to have to argue with the store at length to get them to honor what they had said (we thankfully had them write it down when we purchased the gown). They then told us that even though they had promised this service, they would not honor it because I had my dress altered elsewhere. When my mother replied that we were not told that upon purchase, they finally agreed to clean and press the dress only if someone waited in the store the entire time that the dress was being cleaned. My father ended up having to sit in the front of Davids Bridal for over 3 hours so that they would clean my dress. They then refused to press it, and I had to call and argue with them until they agreed to do that as well. I would think twice before getting a dress off the floor here.

My experience was not that great here; and the same went for my sister's wedding, and my best friend's wedding. They act all sweet but really they don't care. One lady up there was very rude to my mother, and that was a BIG no, no!!!! DO NOT buy your jewelry from there because it falls apart and you can never wear it again. Expensive, but very poorly made! I regret not going to the other bridal stores. Don't let the nice look fool you. After buying my dress, I went into another bridal store and the prices were fabulous! Just take your time and really look around. There are so many beautiful dresses at great prices out there!!!!

Davids is where we picked out my bridesmaid dresses. The only reason we did this is because they are all scattered throughout the country. I went in with one of my bridesmaids and they were the most unhelpful people in the world. I called to find out who of my bridesmaids had ordered their dresses and I was told there was no way for them to look that information up.

The staff ad davids bridal are really nice, sometimes you can find sales, I looked online when they did :)

Horrible. Their alterations department is quite possibly the worst i've heard of. Completely botched alterations. The alterations staff was beyond rude. The woman actually laughed! I got there after they had had my dress for three months and they were still working on the hem and I had to wait for them to finish. Manager didn't return my calls. Staff had no idea how to "pull" a dress... there aren't many other bridal shops in the area, unfortunately, but if you can, I would look elsewhere!

I will say that my actual dress was beautiful.. from the Oleg Cassini line. But, the service and the alterations make this place a no go!
