Second, they promise to steam the dress - well, they fail to mention it takes 2 weeks AND if you don't use their alterations department, then you no longer get the dress steamed. When you go to pick up the items, you are basically dirt on a shoe. They have your money and have no reason to treat you right. Oh, and the alterations - they cost $1 PER MINUTE! we made an appointment and my sisters ended up having to bring the dresses to me and try them on. They didn't even pay attention to what we asked for. They were very rude and unprofessional when we talked to them about it, saying women had walked in and asked to be helped...we had an appointment!

This David's Bridal is top-notch. Our associate, Alana, was AWESOME! She listened to what I had in mind and brought me some amazing dresses to choose from. I knew in my heart there was one in particular that I had my heart set on, but felt like I hadn't quite lost the amount of weight I wanted to lose yet. She told me to try it on anyway and that alterations could be made to accommodate for weight loss (she & my mom were stating emphatically the whole time that I didn't need to lose weight). Of course, I tried it on and was such a brat b/c I thought I looked horrendous. Both her and my mom told me the dress was stunning and perfect for my body type as well as the beachy, casual-chic look my husband & I were going for. She was patient and understanding of my tantrum but assured me that out of the 6 dresses I tried on, this was 'the one' at that time and would be later. Boy, was she right! A few weeks later and 15 pounds lighter, I felt like the most beautiful belle at the ball. All of the alterations (not much, a bustle and few nips and tucks to the straps) were done expertly and in a timely fashion. She also helped us to pick out awesome attire for our daughter (the flower girl) and my mom. Everyone that we had contact with there was courteous and helpful, but Alana was our star! Thanks so much, DB Springfield, for taking the stress out of finding the perfect gown for the perfect day.

David's Bridal was a great place to get my dress. They have a wide range of styles and they were great helping me find the one that looked great on me. The dress I got was actually not one I had originally thought I would like, but the lady who was helping me brought it out and as soon as I put it on I knew. They know their dresses! We got discounts on shoes, bridesmaid dresses, and my mom's dress. David's Bridal alterations were great too! They were very flexible when I told them I couldn't come get my dress because my uncle had passed away. They said they were so sorry and worked everything around so I could come in a few days later. I would go back to them if I had to do it all over again!

I have heard and read several reviews about how hard it can be working with David's Bridal (across the country not just Springfield). I purchased my dress at one of the St. Louis locations, but had it altered at the Springfield location. I received great service at both places. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.

They worked pretty well and I found a great deal on the dress. Could of been a little more polite.

I made an appointment and i bought my dress that day! They were very truthful about what looked good on me and what didn't. I ended up buying the first dress i tried one, and it fit me great! My dress lady really knows what she was doing!
