I bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal, as well as all the bridesmaids dresses. My consultant Courtney was extremely helpful and always friendly every time I went to the store. My dress' alterations were done quickly and look great. All my bridesmaids received their dresses about 4-5 weeks after ordering them, and they all came in with no problems to the actual dresses. When I called in question of arrival of a bridesmaids dress, the sales associate on the phone was slightly rude until I told her it was the bride calling. Her tone changed immediately. I did have a problem getting to speak to a person when I called a couple times, but overall I was very satisfied with everything. Any brides going to shop for their dress, I don't recommend a Saturday. Its busy, and if you bring people they probably will not have a place for them to sit. Your consultant usually has more then 1 bride as well, so if there are others you may have to wait your turn to try on dresses.

I have to say I would definitely NOT recommend David's Bridal to anyone shopping for their wedding. My Bridemaids purchased their dresses here. We had an awful time dealing with rude associates. Also, when the dresses came in, two of them were shipped in from another store. One had a ripped seam and a huge deodorant stain on it. It took the full 8 weeks to come in and it was in terribel condition! Luckily, an alterations specialist, Tammy, was extremely friendly and fixed it while I waited. The worst part is that while I waited, not a single associate ackonwledged me. Even when I told the associate who gathered my merchandise for me that the dress was damaged, she didn't offer to help.
The only reason they got a 2/5 rating is because of the convenience of shopping their when you have bridesmaids who lie out of state. I would caution anyone who is considering shopping at David's to look elsewhere whenever possible.

I loved the dress I found at David's Bridal and the sales associate was great to work with. I received so many compliments and the veil was just as beautiful. You would think with all the discounts you get with them once you buy your dress you would get something for the cost in alterations which was more than I was wanting to spend. And setting an appointment everytime you go in you would think it would be more organized but it seemed like a mad house every time I was in there except the alterations dept.

Overall my experience with DB was pleasurable and I would go back for repeat buying. The only issue I had was that the dress and veil that I put on layaway was pulled right off the floor. The dress is a chiffon flowy dress and there were snags and smudges, the veil had tears and was dingy, but they promised that it would be free of defects and cleaned by the time I paid in full at 60 days. The day came to pick up and it was in even worse shape than when we "bought it". Fortunately, the alterations lady told them she could not repair the damage so they located a brand new dress still in the packaging. The veil took days of calling locations to find a new one, as the one I purchased was discontinued. Though all the madness, I wound up with a new dress and brand new veil and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

We got my bridesmaids dresses at this DB location. They were very busy, so we were sharing a consultant and service was a little slow. But they brought us everything we needed and my girls found dresses they loved. Plus, they got $20 off each dress because I had gotten my dress with DB as well! One downside is it took almost 2 months for the dresses to come in so we could pick them up! Also, when they did come in, I was pretty annoyed that they couldn't just steam them. I had to go in (I'm about an hour away), pick them up, then immediately drop them off at alterations for steaming, then come back in a couple days to pick them up again. I would have thought that when the dressed arrived at the store, they would automatically be steamed and I wouldn't have had to make that extra trip! But I guess they have their policies for a reason.. Overall, it was good, we got what we were looking for and that's what matters!

My over all experience here was negative. Some of the workers were wonderful, like Rachel. However it only takes one or two negative employees in the bunch to rub off. One month before my wedding I received a phone call, and was basically told that although I paid for 4 flower girl dresses ahead of time, I will be unable to get them. I finally convinced an employee to actually work, as I would not leave until someone helped me figure it out. They tried to say that there was nothing they could do, but eventually we found the exact dresses and had them shipped. Every time I entered the store since that day, the girl seemed to hold a grudge against me, as she continued reminding me that she knew my name very well, and so on- all while I am busy shopping and discussing things with my mother, and trying to avoid that specific employee. All of my friends who wittnessed the rudeness will not go to davids bridal again, and neither will I. This was the store in Peoria AZ.

Jill- the manager that was working at this David's when I choose and purchased my dress, was THE BEST! They should try with all their might to get her back because the managers that are there currently are not as kind and accomadating when they should try to be because we are there as brides for the happiest day of our lives! LOVED my dress, alterations were great and great with customer service. Thank you DB!

When I first came into David's Bridal I was a little disturbed. There was a girl that was assigned to me to help gather gowns and try them on. She asked what kind of dress I wanted and she stuck with it to a T!!! I brought a couple magazine clippings and also picked a good handful from their current catelog as ideas but she only brought one style, one dress at a time!! The process seemed so slow and dragged out. When I asked to try a different style to just try, she brought one so far off base of what I wanted, it was awful. Finally one of my bridesmaids went out looking for a dress herself since we were so tired of waiting. In the meantime I was trying on dress number 5 from the girl helping us and as I came out into the open, my friend was walking up with the same dress. It was destiny. I was done trying on dresses at that point and wanted to be done. The rest of my experience with David's Bridal was great! I had no other issues the rest of my time during my fitting and such.
