I ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses from here. Overall I was pleased with them, they came on time. Only thing that didnt pan out like we had hoped was that a few of the dresses didnt fit correctly and the sizes were off a tad. But we got it taken care of and they looked great and my girls will wear them again!

I was able to try on as many dresses as I needed! Unfortunately the ordering and pickup process was a little hectic as they had lost my MOH dress and tried togive me 3 Bridesmaids dresses for the same girl!

I could not believe how bad working with the staff at david bridal would be. And it's not only one either. It seems as thought no matter which one we went into the service got worst. I remember standing around for about ten minutes waiting for someone to assist us. And still no one did. I made appointment to pick up the bridemaid and matron of honor dress and the lady i spoke to told me to my face that i never called to make the appointment. i thought that was funny because if i hadn't called and made the appointment how else would i have known what time to show up and who i was suppose to speak to once i was there. the manager of the store in Orange, CT she only makes excuses for why things are going bad. and she had an attitude as well. Just avoid all david's bridals if you like your sanity. and they told two of my bridesmaids that the original dress we wanted would not be available in time, but yet they were able to get another dress that had to be ordered in way before the wedding. all because it seemed as if it was such a bother to just do their jobs. STAY AWAY. I must say thought that working with Men's WearHouse was great. they were very much accomodating. Even down to the day of the wedding with about 6 or 7 hours before the wedding we were able to and grab the last suit for the groomsmen because he was a last minute addition. they did not complain or anything they just did it and helped us out. the one in zona rosa across from abuelos.

If it weren't for the fact the dress I loved was here and no where else I would have never bought from this store. I had an appointment set for one evening when I got off of work. I work in customer service myself so when the consultant took me back 30 mins late I wasnt upset because I figured she would be super attentive and just wanted to make sure her clients found the right dress. WRONG. I had a list of 4 dresses I wanted to try and even had the item numbers for them to make them easier to locate and pull. After waiting a good 20 mins our consultant finally returned with the dresses. However I was still excited especially to try on the dress I had been wanting to try on for a while. That quickly changed. The consultant acted as though she was bored, distracted, and almost like it was a bother to have me in front of her like she had something better to do. I get that not everyone likes their job but please, if I am going to spend a few hundred on a dress and you are going to be getting a commission at least ACT interested. Needless to say I got the dress only because I was so in love with it. If not I would have went somewhere else due to extremely poor customer service.

Davids bridal is the perfect place for all your wedding dress needs! I found the perfect dress there at the perfect price - it was on sale!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - especially when I had a situation arise. My maid of honor actually gained some weight, and was unable to fit into her dress about 1 month before the wedding. I was incredibly upset - because it had already been past the 90 day exhcnage policy. However, the manger decided to go ahead and make an exception, they ordered in a bigger size and exchanged the dresses at no additional cost to me in perfect time for the wedding!

I really appreciated them saving the day!

I absolutely loved my experience at David's Bridal. Melissa was my consultant and she devoted all her attention to me. She was the sweetest lady and she made me feel like I was the only one in the room. She helped me with everything I needed. The service I received was the best I could have asked for. I would recommend David's Bridal to anyone, but make sure you have Melissa as your consultant or you won't get the full experience!

I bought my dress at David's Bridal I chose a dress that I never thought I would. After I picked out the dress and paid for it it fit great, well then I lost about 14 pounds due to being in the hospital just weeks before the wedding and they were willing to alter the dress however I didn't want to pay all of the fees that were associated with that.

Arrived at store at opening time (11:00 am); they opened the doors ten minutes later. Upon opening, the store staff were not prepared to assist customers.
Visited store to purchase bridesmaid dress. Had only 1 size in the near vicinity to mine (I wear a 6). The worker asked if I needed a strapless bra (duh). She did not bring the size I asked for, nor did she comment on doing so. She said she would look for another size in the specific dress while I was trying on the wrong size. Upon exiting the dressing room in an ill-fitting dress, I asked if she could bring something comparable. At which point she brought the correct size in a full skirt vs. a straight skirt, which is how the correct dress is made. Upon exiting the dressing room in the alternate dress, my 'helper' was nowhere to be found.
Thus, I decided to order the dress online, which is unavailable other than in the store.

Not to mention, the model dress that I tried on was so worn that the zipper was in poor shape, getting stuck periodoically due to hanging strings.
Unimpressed with customer service, selection and common sense.

My first experience at David's Bridal was awful. The sales associate helping me was also helping another bride, and didn't seem to want to help me at all. I came back and the new sales associate that helped me really did help me. I found my dress, bridesmaid dress and flower girl's dress at David's Bridal. It took them forever to order my dress and get it shipped (close to 3 months). I love my dress, but it cost me $45 to have a bussel put in and I couldn't even find it on my wedding day.

Despite it's bad rap, it has great deals! The same dress that I found for $500 at Alfred Angelo's was a dress that I found for $250 at David's Bridal.
I'll admit that the attendants weren't always the best, but for me the price was what made it right!
Their services - such as ordering in an item, dying shoes, and alterations - are all done in a timely manner.
The dress I ended up with, despite it's low low price, was so elegant; also, my mother added a lace-and-bead applique to the gathered side of the dress which added that extra "oomph"!

I picked out my dress and bridesmaids dresses here! Little did we know that when we picked out Men's Warehouse for the Tuxes that we would get additional discounts! It helped a lot and Men's Warehouse is great to work with too!

David's bridal as a shop was only so-so, but the service provided to us by Retonia was AMAZING. Since I had no clue what type/style of dress I wanted we tried on everything, and Retonia just kept on bringing out more and more dressed! Six hours later she got her hands on a "signature" dress that was being tested for future marketing. It was the one, and if we hadn't of bought it when we did (February 2008) we wouldn't have been able to get it again since it didn't get added to the line.

I *highly* recommend seeing Retonia when you go to David's Bridal!

The dresses were lovely; however, I found the alteration prices too high. The service was nice and I have no complaints; it just wasn't anything exceptional or out of the ordinary.

Sorry to say, but the only GOOD thing about this vendor was their seamstresses! We booked an appt slot, because I wanted my daughter to have 100% of our saleslady's attention. Sadly, not so! She was helping another girl that was not even scheduled! Nightmare...had to go find our own shoes, tiara and everything except the dress, bra and slip. When I asked her about it, she pooh poohed it off to it being "prom season". Twenty years from now that girl won't even remember the name of her date for prom! I mean, for REAL!

As I said, the ONLY good thing about our experience at David's Bridal took place in the alterations department. Those ladies took their time with us, and went over everything, so that we understood what we needed. I did not feel like we were taken advantage of in that dept. The dress fit to a T and it was truly beautiful. KUDOS TO DAVID'S BRIDAL for having the good sense to hire truly awesome ladies...now if they would just take a look at their sales staff!

I purchased one of the designer gowns from David's Bridal after searching every other bridal shop in town. I was extremely disappointed in their service. The first time I came in and looked around they told me I was not allowed to try on a dress without an appointment. So, I made an appointment for the following day. It happened to be on a Saturday (was not even prom season) - and there were many people there who apparently had the same appointment time as I did. I had to wait about 10 minutes at the front desk before they would introduce me to my specific sales person. She quickly grabbed some of the dresses I wanted to try on and came into the dressing room with me. She said that she had to dress me (I wasn't allowed to try on the dresses by myself) - so we put on one dress and then she left to go help another client (who also had an appointment with her). So during my appointment time she was bouncing back and forth between 3 people. Other sales people were doing the same thing - it was sooo crowded and felt like a 3 ring circus!! Horrible customer service. Not the type of service one would expect while trying to find a wedding dress for the most important day of your life.

David's Bridal is a great place to find your wedding, bridesmaids, and mother dresses. I do not recommend using their alteration services. I found them to be extremely expensive and not prepared when I came to pick up my dress. My dress was being altered for 1 month and I came in 10 minutes early to pick up my dress and they had a fit that I was early. There are several other places around the city that are much cheaper and will probably do a better job.
