I bought my wedding dress 2 months prior to my wedding on SALE!!! My first visit to the Northridge store, I had a sales person that wasn't too helpful to what I was looking for based on my age, body-type and budget. The store was crowded and overwhelming to get any personalized attention.

On my second visit....and I highly recommend Mondays at 5:30PM, I had this store all to myself!! The sales person this time around showed me 5 dresses, I tried on ONE and walked out of the store withing 40 minutes with my dream dress.

This location is very busy and if you're a 40+ bride to be like I was, the dressing room areas filled with young 20 somethings, all their girlfriends, their moms, their grandmothers and in one case, the GROOM....it can be very distracting to really find your dress.

I'd still recommend David's bridal for their value and quality.

It was extremely crowded when I decided to stop in right before boarding a plane back to Seattle. Eilish was awesome in helping me find a dress, and an expert in lacing it up quickly! She had no problem hunting down accessories for me to try. The dress got numerous compliments at the wedding, and fit beautifully without any additional tailoring needed.

I went here with my mom and we found the perfect dress. I was a little surprised that the person who was helping us did not really stay with us to help me out. I had to put on my own dresses. She would check in every now and then. The dress I picked was gorgeous but they definitely get you on alterations. They were super expensive! They were more expensive that the actual dress. However I would recommend buy a dress here any day...just maybe get your dress altered somewhere else.

Loved my dress- I went to David's because I didn't want to pay a lot of money and I wanted to be able to try on a variety of dresses (plus size bride.) I would not return on a weekend, the place was a madhouse and felt very impersonal, but when I went in to order my dress on a weekday evening I got very good service and the store was almost empty. My junk mail got spammed, which I knew to expect, but what I didn't expect was that the only notification I would get that my dress was in was through e-mail, so I almost missed it. A phone call would have been more helpful.

I loved my dress and got it for a great price!!

My brother's wedding was quickly approaching and his fiance was out of the country. I was constantly on the phone with her in Egypt and online looking for dresses. She finally found the dress for her. As soon as she found it I drove from Los Angeles to Northridge to get her dress as well as the bridesmaid dresses. As soon as I got there I ordered the dress for her. The sales associates were extremely helpful! After ordering the dresses I was told that the bride's dress would be available less than a week before the wedding. I talked to Barbra and she reassured me that the dress would be available on time. She had all the dresses and accessories rushed. Thankfully, everything was available on time. we had several fittings for the dresses and everything was Perfect for the wedding day! David's Bridal was professional, welcoming and helpful.
I felt like I had my personal assistant through out the fitting which made me very comfortable.
Davids Bridal has many selections and has a very reasonable price for brand named new gowns / dresses. And they have many selections of accessories as well.
My dress was ordered and arrived in one month.
They steamed my dress and veil for free two weeks prior when I brought it back.
Davids Bridal also has a lot of selections for the wedding party.

I had a few frustrating moments with David's Bridal...the rehearsal dress that was advertised online but wasn't available in any of the stores; the requirement that we make an appt. to do anything there; the purse that I ordered that I had to drive 2 hours to pick up; the way that we'd walk into the store and had to wait 20 minutes to get served...

The dress was great and the alterations department was incredibly efficient. However, the sales people were well...VERY unimpressive.

I was surprised to find the perfect-for-me, antique-looking lace gown at David's. I had expected they catered more to the very young bride. All of the sales staff were supportive, truthful, helpful, full of information, and an absolute delight. I had a little trouble with the alterations department who forgot to notify me when they were ready for my second fitting and could never find my dress or name when I called, giving me minor heart-attacks. Still I recommend them. Very reasonably priced and helpful and totally came through for me in the end.

When I went here for the first time to look at wedding dresses the woman I worked with was very helpful in finding me what I was looking for. I did have a scare when I went to pick up my dress after my final fitting to take it home after the woman at the front desk said they didn't have my dress. I was freaking out. Then another woman took me to the back fitting area to look for it but started saying it was not back there either. I continued to freak out. Finally she found it in the back. Not something a bride wants to worry about two weeks before the wedding is a missing wedding dress. Not very organized.

I loved the experience I had with getting my dress!

I was very surprised to find a dress I liked at David's Bridal. It was $900, plus $200 worth of alterations. DB definitely gouges you any way they can. Yes, they have cheap dresses, but most of them are not worth the price. However, I was very happy with my dress. Get yours altered elsewhere and don't buy anything but the dress there and you'll save a lot.

I had a short engagement of only 5 months so I immediately went dress shopping. When I first picket out bridesmaid dresses they said I had plenty of time to order them. When we finally ordered them a month latter it turned into a huge mess. One sales lady said my color was "new" and therefore not available, another lady had us pay for the dresses only to call us back a week later to say the color was "discontinued" and no longer available. Nobody had knowledge on what was really going on. Had they told me that when I first picked the dress I would have had time to find something else but didn't.

When I went to have my dress bustled... they continued to tell me there was only "one way" to do it. After three failed attempts with three different alteration ladies I finally had my last "only way" work. Don't give up and fight for what you want. I will not recommend David's Bridal to my friends.

This wholesale bridal mill has a corner on the market in our area, so they can afford to have rude, snobbish, unfriendly staff. We called for an appointment and then were made to wait 20 minutes once we got there; even though there were three girls standing talking to each other instead of helping customers. Once one of them decided to help us (after being spoken to by a manager), she was sulky and rude. Refused to help me find a dress within my budget, and pretty much told me I should look else where for a gown. It was made very evident to us over three visits in an attempt to find a bridal gown and wedding party dresses, that Davids doesn't care what their customers want. The alteration seamstresses were in the same line as the wait staff. Grouchy and unhelpful. The bridesmaids gowns came back looking as though they hadn't been altered at all. They don't train their staff to make a wedding party feel important or even respected. And as if that weren't enough, their prices for the quality were outrageous. Most of the gowns were sweat shop work quality, and the price charged was three times what it ought to have been, as was the charge for alterations. I will never shop here again.

I got my dress during one of David's $99 dress sales. People couldn't believe it was only $99! It fit perfectly and the ladies who did the alterations did a great job, too. I was going to get my bridesmaids dresses there also, but they were a little expensive for my bridesmaids. The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I went in for my appointments (fittings and to look for bridesmaids dresses) they seemed a little short staffed. I kept losing the girl who was helping us and had to go find her. Other than that they have a great selection and beautiful dresses. You can find a wonderful, inexpensive dress if you really want to.

My wedding dress was absolutely beautiful. However, David's Bridal has virtually no costumer service when you order items online. I ordered three pairs of shoes online from DB and they did not match my bridesmaids dresses, but DB did not allow me to return the shoes...I had to eat the cost and they are still sitting in my closet. All sales are final here so make sure you are 100% sure about your purchase.
