There are so many emotions that a girl goes through when picking out her one, amazing dress and Amy stepped up to the plate.
This store is VERY lucky to have such a wonderful and insightful consultant who LISTENS to her future brides. (very important quality to have)
I would recommend this store mostly for the quality customer service that I was given. Thank you Amy! :)

I actually found my dress on EBAY.com!!! Was brand new with tag. The dress was a davids bridal and was made with great quality...

I purchased a Vera Wang White dress at Davids Bridal. I visited the store twice and found this dress on my 2nd visit. I had to wait a little to be helped even though i booked an appt but my consultant was very helpful. Dresses are reasonably priced. I would refer to a friend.

STAY AWAY! This store and its associated are an absolute nightmare. I have no idea how they stay in business. This was the worst experience ever, and I absolutely hate my wedding dress. My mom and I initially went into the David’s Bridal store in Madison, TN just to look for bridesmaids dresses. One of the associates there talked me into looking at dresses, so I caved and started looking around the store. I think I only found 3 dresses that I liked. After I picked out three dresses, I had to wait 20 minutes to get into a fitting room which was no big deal because they were busy. When my associate, Ann, finally put me in a room, she made a comment about “This is why people make appointments”. I didn’t even say a word about waiting to her! I put on the first dress and didn’t like the fit. Ann told me I was too flat chested and said I should really be wearing a bra. To be honest, I am very flat chested and proud at the fact that I can get away with NOT having to wear a bra. So needless to say, I was real quick to try on the other two dresses because I wanted out of there.

Just as I was coming out of the dressing room after the last dress, another associate (who was very sweet, and sadly I cannot remember her name) came up to me with my mom with a very pretty dress. She asked me to try it on, because most girls who try the dress on are a lot shorter than me, and she wanted to see it on someone of my height (5’10). At the bottom of the dress, the lace comes down in points, and I guess with the other girls, the points disappear under the dress because it is too long for them.

Anyways, I tried on the dress, but I wasn’t really in love with it. Had my heart set on a dress at another store, but… my mother loved it. And I wanted to wear her veil, and of course the veil matched this dress perfectly. So I said yes, because my mom loved it, because it matched her veil, and because Ann said I could get away without wearing a bra, if I get cups sewn in.

So we ordered the dress, and set an appointment to have it altered as soon as it came in. Unfortunately all of this is a year before my wedding – which is in Pittsburgh. My mom was going to take the dress home with her on her next visit to TN so that it would be one less thing for me to bring back to PA.

Pre-Alteration day came. Tried the dress on, and the seamstress Lela pinned it. There were two wrinkles on the sides of the dress where she pinned it, but she assured me that they wouldn’t be there when it was altered.

About 3 weeks later my dress was done and I went in to have my final fitting. Got into the dress, with the help of a different seamstress, and tried to zip the dress up. Got to the chest area and she had to fight to get it zipped. Her comment to me, “You must have put on weight since you were sized”… I am 28 now. My boobs have not grown since the ninth grade. Don’t think they would grow in the 3 weeks between the fittings… that would be a miracle.

I finally squeezed into my dress, and then looked into the mirror. Those two wrinkles in the fabric that Lela assured me that wouldn’t be there were of course there. I pointed them out to the seamstress, and her next comment was “Well, we are not a custom tailor shop”. At that point I asked to return the dress and for my money back. She said that was impossible as all sales are final. So I told her to re-alter the dress to take out those wrinkles. She said that was also impossible because too much fabric was taken off that they couldn’t let it out. The best she could to do was steam it and then I would have to tape the dress to my ribs to keep it up. If the dress didn’t slide down, then the wrinkles were not that noticeable. So again, I caved and said fine.

Skip forward to the wedding day… I put on my dress, taped it, and went on my way. Unfortunately the cheap dress turned out to not be the best material in the world because after an hour in the dress, it completely stretched out of shape. Needless to say, my entire torso was covered in tape by the end of the night to keep my dress up.

I don’t know about other David’s Bridals, but this one in particular I would avoid like the plague. Customer Service does not exist at this store.

P.S. I also made the unfortunate mistake of registering my bridesmaids at this store. Not going to tell those tales because it will take 20 pages.

I didn't buy my dress at the David's Bridal in Nashville (it was from a David's Bridal in PA), but that is where I got my alterations and ordered my shoes. Everyone I worked with was very nice, but it was frustrating every time I showed up there. I would wait quite a while until someone showed up to help me. The alterations were fine, but my bustle came undone 4 times at my reception. I would recommend alterations from someone else, but David's Bridal does has great deals on some beautiful dresses.

I shopped for bridesmaid dresses at the David's Bridal in Murfreesboro, TN, but I've been to quite a few, and the service has been the same across the board. The sales ladies are very eager, but not incredibly knowledgeable or honest. I constantly feel they're pushing a sale and not investing in my tastes. My girls were appalled at the high alteration prices, so they had an independent seamstress do them. I love being able to have color and style flexibility, but dealing with the actual people is not something I look forward to.

Very attentive. Saw to all my and my bride's maids needs. Very professional. However, they were not flexible at all. I had to work my schedule around their's which was a bit annoying. Other than that I got a great dress for a great price.

Was happy with the dress and the bridesmaid dresses. But that was about all that I was happy with at Davids Bridal. The customer service is terrible and they are a nightmare to deal with, in person and on the phone. Would definitely not recommend this vendor.

I went to a very expensive bridal shop and loved all of the dresses I tried on. Being a Plus sized 16 woman I thought I would have a hard time finding a dress but instead found 3.

I left the expensive store empty handed and then drove to David's bridal just to see if I would find a beautiful plus size dress that was also affordable. It was a madhouse on that Satuday but Tiffany at David's Bridal in Rivergate made me feel like a special bride purchasing a dress that day. I tried on 7 dresses and loved them all but was still trying to determine which dress was my dress. Tiffany picked out one more dress that was her pick not mine and sure enought it was absolutely everything I was looking for. It was not cheap looking at all. It was a ball gown dress in antique white. It was ironic that the 8th dress was the one because the number 8 is my favorite number.

The dress was also on sale at the time so I had a great experience at David's Bridal. David's bridal dresses are very good quality. They have come a long way and now have Vera Wang dresses too.

I received so many compliments on my dress on my wedding day. I was a princess and thank Tiffany for helping me to find the perfect dress.

Davids Bridal has very affordable dresses and many appointment times. They were very flexible with exchanges! Overall pleased with their service.

The dress buying experience was awesome. I love my dress and got it at a great price. WARNING: DO NOT do alterations here!!! It was the ONLY BAD experience of our wedding. It worked out in the end but it didn't even need to happen. Buy and take your dress elsewhere to be altered.

I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal in Madison, TN. The staff were very nice and helpful. My dress was absolutely beautiful and a dream come true for me. The bridesmaids dresses were also very beautiful. I actually added a bridesmaid just 2 months before my wedding. The staff ordered the extra bridesmaid dress and it arrived very promptly. I also changed my veil the week before the wedding (I can be a very indecisive person), and the staff accomodated me- no questions asked! The only negative thing I can say is that the staff always seemed to be in such a rush. Often, I would go into David's Bridal and my bridal consultant would be helping me and 1 or 2 other brides. Hectic! All in all, David's Bridal was great! Thank you!!

i really appreciated the help i got from davids bridal. the seamstress, koko, was the BEST!! she made me feel so special and she made my dress fit like a glove! i have her to thank for making my wedding dress as beautiful as it was!
