The Mobile David's Bridal was totally amazing about working with me and with my bridesmaids.
Normally, when a big event is coming up, I gain weight. So I went in and ordered my dress a size too large. Between the time I ordered my dress (in a plus size) and the time for my first fitting, I lost 40+ pounds. I went into my fitting resigned to having to order a new dress and eBay the old one. Not only was David's Bridal super happy for me, they let me exchange my plus sized dress for a regular sized dress they had in stock (!) and let me use the difference in price to buy a bolero jacket and some gifts for my bridesmaids (!!). I would absolutely recommend the David's Bridal in Mobile, AL.
I also had a third bridesmaid join my crew with just two months out from the wedding. They called around and got the dress in on time! I could not be more pleased with the service and the awesomeness of the people working here.

I found my dress in Tuscaloosa, AL and had great service there (except the dress I rushed to get because she said it was going on sell, actually stayed on sale the whole year before my wedding). However, I was getting married on the coast in MS so I went to the David's Bridal in Mobile for the fitting. When we got there, the lady that ended up doing my dress was about to leave and was reluctant to take us (we had an appointment). Her supervisor told her to go ahead and do it so she took us back and talked about how it was about time for her to leave. I tried my dress on before heading to Mobile to show my FMIL and the dress fit as far as size goes. When I got there the lady, while obviously rushing, broke the zipper on the tag I still had on. She then used the clips and said she was going to take it out 2 inches. I was starting to get nervous but assumed she knew what she was doing. I was also going to get it hemmed but changed my mind after I saw it was $120 dollars. I found out afterwards, it would have been A LOT cheaper to go elsewhere. When I went back for my second fitting, the dress went on the same way and I'm not even sure if she ended up taking it out 2 inches. The cap sleeves were uneven and under my arms where it was tight, was still as tight as they were before. I just told her to fix the sleeves and she said it would be 45 min. We drove a hour so we went to eat and came back after 45 minutes. When we walked in, she had a dumbfounded look on her face and said it'll be another 15 minutes and headed to the back (this was a the front of the store so I don't think she had even started on it). Well 15 minutes turned into another 45 and she didn't once come out and tell us it would be longer. I had a trial makeup appointment that afternoon that I had to move back and a SIL with me that needed to get back. When she finally brought it out, she said there were some beads missing so it took longer. Why wasn't this done when they originally were altered it and why didn't she come out and tell me? David's Bridal in general seems like a good store but I don't recommend the one in Mobile. Overall, the store atmosphere was not anywhere close to the one in Tuscaloosa.

I bought my dress and veil at Davids Bridal. I picked out my dress but one of the staff members found a broch to add to my dress that made it look amazing. She was very friendly and professional.

I went to the DB in Pensacola and had nothing but bad things happen. I called into corporate, wrote emails and when they called/emailed me back it was nothing short of 'oh well sorry.'
I paid for my dress to be hemmed and when I came back (now mind you I live in Panama City and P'cola is a 2.5hr drive for me each way) only to find out that they forgot to hem the bottom of my dress! They only hemmed the tulle!
I made 4 trips out there until they got it right - needless to say I would never go back to the DB in Pensacola.

I was able to walk in and have someone help me immediately. I told them exactly what I wanted and didn't want and she said she knew exactly what dress was for me and it was exactly the perfect dress for me. I loved it!!

I loved David's Bridal! They were very patient during my MANY trips to try on dresses. I was also able to try them on IN MY SIZE instead of just holding it up and imagining what it would look like if it fit me (like I had to do at other stores). The prices are beyond reasonable and they have tons of options. Be sure to add them to you list when shopping for a dress! You just might be surprised. :)

I purchased my dress in the Mobile store 11 months before my wedding and was told my dress didn't come in long so I would probably have to wear flats (I'm 5'10"). I was okay with that until I went to the Orlando store to try on my dress with my new shoes (and recent weight gain) and the dress was waaayy too short. I was then informed by the Orlando store manager that my dress did come in long and that if I wanted to order I would have to return my old dress (which I didn't have the receipt for anymore) and purchase the new dress for $50 more. The Orlando manager called the mobile store to try to get a copy of the receipt and the Mobile manager gave her attitude about it!! To make a long story short I give the Orlando store 5 stars and the Mobile store 2.5 stars.

David's Bridal did a great job with both the bridesmaid dresses' and the invitations. There was an error on our response cards and David's worked with us to reprint them. They even refunded the money for the first response cards and gave us a discount on our second order!!! We were very impressed. David's Bridal also did a good job with the attendant's dresses. My sister ordered a dress in a 2 and then found out she was pregnant - David's exchanged the dress for no added cost (twice prior to the wedding!!!)

refused to alter the length of my dress's train...then refused to press my dress once I had it altered elsewhere

David's Bridal has the best selection of colors and styles. I was able to match the color of my bridesmaids dresses to the ties perfectly! The service was wonderful and once we ordered the dresses, they were here in a month. The cost was also less than any of the other places I look. I was very satisfied with the service and quality of David's Bridal!

David's was amazing it was an unusuak exoerience that was in my opinion a sign that the man of my freams realy was!! I was not able to buy the dress I resally wanted and went with my bridesmaids and maid of honor to Davids and the dress I had originally wanted that was online for over $400 dollars was acutally on sale, clearance actually in my size!! They were extremely helpful with each of my girls, and when I told them I was afriad I would not have a dress for my wedding the girl who was helping me took me to the clearance rack and there it was!!! Had she not offered I would have walked out without that dress and that dress..IT MADE my day!!! I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day! Not only did I marry the man of my dreams but I got to wear the dress too!!! YAY Davids!!! I have to say at the time the only David's bridal that was available to me being in Pensacola at the time was theone in Mobile. They were very helpful with the time constraints I wasunder and really helped a lot. Several of my girls were unable to make it at the same time as the restof us but they handled all my girls perfectly!! Making time for a fitting but also special ordering a dress for one of my bridesmaids that was unavailable in the entire area. The rep there made sure it was overnighted two days before the wedding and when it arrived with a black ink stain on the dress, she handled the situation elegantly and called that particluar store told them of the problems so we didn't have to, dealt with the girl in the out of state store who didnt want to handle it (she was horrific she was in the store in Atlanta, Ga.) and made sure the NEW UNSTAINED dress shipped that day to get here in time for my wedding!! You guys rock!!!!!
(oh...and FYI....It came two hours before the weding perfect and had even made sure that the dress has been steamed so when it shipped it was NOT wrinkled for my day!!!!!

I am convinced that my wedding dress I bought from David's Bridal was the most gorgeous wedding dress on earth. The girl who worked there that helped me find my perfect dress was delightful.

They took good care of me ,my dress was beautiful and we also got the brides maid dresses from there to.

Customer service was terrible. We received coupons for the wedding party months after everyone had already bought their dresses. They have nice dresses but be prepared to find them and try them on yourself.

WHEN WE WENT TO GET DRESS ALTERED, MY MOTHER AND I HAD TO TELL THEM HOW TO ALTER IT, WHICH WAS FRUSTRATING. BUT, THEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE IN WHAT WE WANTED, GAVE GOOD ADVICE HOW TO STEAM DRESS, AND LET ME COME IN ON A WEEKEND TO PICK UP SINCE I LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND AND HAD TO FLY DOWN.

Before they secure your business, they seem polite and concerned. After you've registered your bridal party, watch out! Only 2 dresses came back as I ordered them. One was too big, one was too small, and one was too long and they did nothing to resolve these issues. In fact, they were quite rude about owning up to their mistakes. Weddings are expensive and the only benefit is that they met our budget. I guess you have to compromise good service to get the right dress at the right price.
