As far as the value of the dresses, really you can't beat it! They have quite a large selection of dresses at all price levels which was very helpful:) Whenever I came into the store the consultants helped me out and were for the most part very friendly! The thing that I didn't like was even though I went to the same store the people were telling me completely different answers to the questions that I asked! One time they were telling me they could only size my dress down one size and the next time they were telling me they could size it down 4 sizes! Really inconsistent! The alterations were pretty expensive, but I had to go with them because I had so much bead work on my dress! My dress turned out beautiful in the end:)

My bridesmaids and I had some really frustrating experiences with David's Bridal. Most of it was because NO ONE talks to each other (even in the SAME store) and there is no consistency between stores whatsoever, making it really difficult to coordinate with wedding party members who are in different parts of the country (which is why I picked David's Bridal). I also was very shocked at the outrageous prices of some things. It was very obvious that they take advantage of the fact that they are pretty much the ONLY national chain and that brides are willing to spend whatever money they need to when they have such few options. I definitely would avoid working with them at all costs until they get their act together. On a positive note, the dresses were beautiful once they got stuff straightened out!!!

I would never recommend David's bridal to any bride. I was very disappointed with the alterations department. They altered my dress incorrectly and I had to have my mother's friend fix it before the wedding, because they refused to do anything since I had signed for it. If you are going to buy a dress from them don't have it altered there!

They were great. they helped me in any way possible to find my dream wedding dress.

I was very happy I chose to purchase my wedding dress and invitations through David's Bridal. They were very helpful and professional. I was very happy with the cost of everything as well.

I loved my dress, but when it came to alterations David's Bridal is really expensive. If you find a dress that you like there take it somewhere else to get alterations.

They did a really good job helping me pick out a dress and getting fitted.

Going to David's I knew that there would probably be more than one person that my girl would be working with. The girl I worked with when I first went to David's was very nice and helpful. She found all the dresses that I wanted and even a few that weren't on my list. I actually ended up going with one of the dresses that the girl picked out! The first girl I worked with did help me out a lot! The other times that I went back to David's (1st fitting, alterations,etc) the staff was not as helpful. The alterations lady is very patient! My 4 year old niece was having a blast twirling around and looking in the mirror. Overall I would shop at David's again. The price is unbeatable!

The dress was great but they wanted me to pick a dress within an hour, they were rushing me and I did not like it. The alterations lady is excellent!

They were the best when it came to getting my dress, because I am a plus size girl it was hard to find any places that carried my size plus at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I suppose that I do not have a problem with David's Bridal as much as I do with the sales lady they stuck me with. She was rude, smelled like cigarette smoke and had terrible taste in picking out dresses. I made suggestions on what I wanted to try on, because they wouldn't just let me walk around and pick out dresses in the store that I wanted to try on and after she brought me the three most hideous dresses in the store that I explicitly stated that I didn't want to try on, my mom said that we were going to be picking out the dresses for the remainder of the afternoon. The sales rep also wondered why I didn't want her helping me try on dresses when she stank terribly of smoke. I hope for David's Bridal's sake that they have dismissed Ms. Morales by now.

Nothing really stood out about my experience at David's Bridal except that when I went dress shopping with my mom we had an awesome gal helping us. She really had great suggestions and an eye for what I would look good in. However, I have to say I think David's is overpriced and has some less than stellar clerks. When I went back with my girls to look at bridesmaid dresses, the clerks were not helpful at all, we were basically ignored, and the dresses were too expensive for what they were. But I guess that's what you get when you go through a national chain. They weren't horrible, but they weren't that great either. I would say it doesn't hurt to shop there but most likely it won't be anything too memorable.

They were able to help me find the dress I wanted, and could afford; and were helpful without being pushy. The store is beautiful, and makes you feel magical.

It is a great "big box" like store for dresses. However, because they do serve so many people, you do not get the same personalized service that you would at a smaller dress shop. The dresses are priced just the same as any designer dress too. Designer dresses are more unique and not a run of the mill like David's. To get a hold of anyone, they would assign you a consultant. However, a lot of their staff works part time and varying schedules. Since the store is open all day, it is hard to know when you can get a hold of the same person and sometimes it could take a few days.
