This review is for the woman who does the fittings in Lombard. Unfortunately I have forgotten her name, I wish I could remember it. But she was so nice and sweet and patient. She did a really great job and I really liked her. Would definitely recommend.
I bought my dress at the Schaumburg location but got fitted at Lombard because it was closer to my house.

THE DRESS WAS VERY PRETTY AND IT WAS IN MY BUDGET

I used David's Bridal in Lombard they were always available and when I would go w/o a scheduled apt. they always helped me and were not bothered that I did not schedule an apt. Not like another David's Bridal I stopped in. The only thing that seemed pricey was their alterations, cost me 1/2 of what my dress was.

I got my dress at Davids Bridal and also my bridesmaids’ dresses. I was very pleased with their selection of dresses and quality of service. I got my dress for a great price and did not have to compromise what I wanted; it was the perfect dress for me. The alterations team there was awesome. While it was a bit pricey they did a great job. I went in several times and they listened to my opinions and made the dress fit like a glove. The wedding consultant that I had also would call to check up on how my plans were going and made sure that everything was going good with all our dresses.

The one negative thing I would say was the first day I felt a little pressure to buy the dress that day. I was overwhelmed I think at first and needed to think about it and come back. But in the end I knew it was the dress for me and overall I was very pleased with them.

All in all I was happy with davids bridal. The sales women however did tell me one thing and did another and after that, I made them write down and initial everything they would tell me. The alterations were wonderful and everyone loved my dress! Everyone couldn't believe it was from davids, they thought I got it custom made from a designer. :)

I love my wedding dress that I purchased from David's Bridal and it was very reasonably priced. I had heard that they are not as attentive as some of the smaller dress shops, but I made my appointment for the very first appointment they offer in the morning, I marked my favorites on their website, then I got there 15 minutes early and someone started pulling my favorites for me so that I would be ready by my appointment time to start trying on dresses. As soon as it started getting crowded there, it was a bit slow getting help so I strongly recommend using their website to pick out what you like a head of time. I also had my alterations done there and they did a great job.

This david's bridal was amazing! I came here for my first dress and when I didn't like it anymore, I came back to find my second dress! They worked with me within my price range and brought me as many styles and dresses as I asked for. They definitely do not try to push you into buying a more expensive dress then you can afford. They pretty much stuck within my price range and I ended up with a beautiful dress! I also did my tailoring there...the lady was very nice and did a great job on the bustle

Very friendly and responsive staff at the Lombard locationl. My entire experience there was wonderful. I found the dress of my dreams that looked amazing on my Wedding day. I also got my bridesmaid dresses and jewelry here. Everything was wonderful at a reasonable price!

Have been here for many bridemaids dresses as well as my wedding gown and each time I am very please with the service and dress!

I loved my wedding dress it was beautiful and exactly what i wanted. The service was ok not great. They ordered the wrong size but they reordered it and i had it in plenty of time before my wedding.

I originally had gone to the David's Bridal on Harlem in Chicago. The salesperson who assisted me was a bit rude. When I went to the one in Lombard - I was happy to have a salesperson (Melissa) who was happy to help me with my search. I was able to email her at her personal account with any questions I had afterwards. During my appointment, she let me pick out dresses that I had like. She also picked out some dresses she thought would suit me. My dress was ready within 3 months. Overall, I had a great experience at this David's Bridal location.

I really enjoyed my experience with David's Bridal. I had a very large wedding party (9 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids), and everyone ranged in size, height and body shape. I wanted everyone to be comfortable, so I let them choose their dresses (I chose the color) and everyone wore matching shoes. Letting everyone choose their dresses was the best idea I had when it came to my wedding party, because of the 9 bridesmaids, there were only 2 girls who wore the same dress, everyone else had different dresses.

That being said, the variety of colors and styles is reason enough to look in to David's Bridal. In the Lombard location, they were very patient and always helpful (I was in there a lot throughout the course of my engagement helping bridesmaids pick their dresses), and I was never disappointed with the staff.

My dress was beautiful. I fell in love right away. It was the second one I tried on. BUT beware. I was told on the day that the train could be removed as I wanted a floor length gown. One year later I took the dress to their alteration department in Lombard. I made the appointment and told them I needed my undergarments and would purchase that day. When I got there (I had to go alone, but that is another story) the store manager put me in a dressing room. She came back 10 minutes later with a slip one size too big and a strapless bra two sizes too small. She then left. I was alone in the dressing room for 15 minutes. Have you ever tried to put a strapless bra 2 sizes too small on alone? Fast forward to 3 fittings later. They lied. They were not "allowed" to cut the dress. The train was "tied" up inside. They could not even stitch it. It was very uneven. It was now less than a week prior to the wedding and I was $$$$ into alterations, almost as much as the dress. I did look great on my wedding day BUT, I tripped multiple times on the "tied" up train, ON OUR FIRST DANCE. My advice, buy the dress there- they have good prices. DO NOT USE THE ALTERATIONS OR EXPECT ANY KIND OF APPROPRIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very busy place and if you do not have an appointment they are not helpful. Dress came in on time and was lovely. Good place to go if you need a plus size dress, as I did. Lots of selection for bridesmaids. Sent me notice when the dresses were in rather than each bridesmaid and so lived in other states. I had someone else do the alterations.

If I could do it all over again, I would've NEVER gotten my dress altered at David's Bridal. I would've paid 2x as much for it to be done else where. I didn't even get my dress back until 2 weeks before the wedding because of how many times THEY had to FIX my dress. The purchasing process went well but as far as alterations go, they butchered my dress and I had to pay for them to fix their mistake. In the end they fixed it and everything was fine but I could've had less stress if they had just done it right the first or even the SECOND time they altered it.

And it was not a weight or height issue, they just couldn't sew straight.
