I have good and bad things to say about David's Bridal. Shopping for my wedding gown was fabulous and I loved my dress. However, that's where the praise stops. I will say that the manager at the Hattiesburg shop is amazing. She really went above and beyond helping with the issues that arose.

First off my maid of honor was told that she could pay for her dress when she picked it up. She tried the dress on, gave her measurements, and even received a card with a pick up date on it. Problem being, they won't order anything until you pay for it, which is fine if you know that. Instead of ordering the dress like the associate told her she did, she wishlisted it. Therefore when my maid of honor went to pick it up on her given date, it wasn't there and there wasn't enough time to order another in her size. We ended up tracking down another dress they assured me was a size 8 (she needed a 6). I figured there would be no problem altering it down a size so we went with it only to find out it was actually a size 12.

The alterations department there is HORRIBLE. They had the dress for a week and didn't start working on it until the day before my wedding. When we actually got the dress it wasn't even finished! There were loose threads, tacked hems, and it didn't fit at all. My stepmother had to end up re-altering it the night before the wedding.

So, anyway, my main message to brides is this: if you're going to use David's Bridal that's fine, but know that if there's a problem there is NO solution other than one you find yourself.

David's Bridal had a great selection of dresses and styles. The prices were fair as well. When coming in to try on dresses, everything went smoothly. I bought my dress that day and all of my bridesmaids (6) got theirs as well. Very easy. My only complaint is that when I went to pick up my dress, service slacked a bit, but overall, my David's Bridal experience was a success!

Excellent dresses for a low cost

They were very patient and asked all my questions. The staff attended to all my needs and my wedding parties needs, they were very nice and quick to help. I needed my dress altered within a 2 week period and they moved me up so my dress would be done on time!

They were extremely gracious until I paid and then they no longer cared.

David's Bridal has some of THE best dresses in the country. I, like many soon-to-be brides, looked through several bridal magazines trying to find the perfect dress. I never thought I'd find a dress as beautiful as the ones I found at David's. I highly recommend their services. They are friendly, and very knowledgeable!
