I bought my wedding dress at David's and didn't have a good experience. The first dress I bought had a floral design at the waist. The floral detail was a different material than the rest of the dress. They had to reorder it for me FOUR TIMES because each time it came in, the floral design was discolored. I finally had enough and said I wanted a different dress. They gave me such a hard time and wouldn't give me my money back BECAUSE I USED THEIR DAVI'D BRIDAL CREDIT CARD. If I would have paid with cash, I could have gotten my money back. How crazy is that?! Anyway, they gave me store credit for the $850 dress. Well, the 2nd dress I found was only $600. So I had a TON of money left over to spend. Here was the catch....I had to spend ALL THE CREDIT AT ONCE. So they told me, why don't you pick out shoes and a coat and jewelry. Well, I can't buy shoes until the dress comes in because I didn't want the dress to be too short with my heels. So they gave me such a hard time about only spending $600. Eventually, after lots of arguing with the manager, they gave me the extra $250 credit and I went back later to purchase a shawl, headpiece, and shoes. When my 2nd dress came in, they told me that I could come back before the wedding to have it steamed and pressed. So that's what I did. A week before my wedding I took the dress into David's. They noticed that it had been tailored (not at David's). They told me they wouldn't touch my dress anymore since I had it tailored somewhere else. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW UPFRONT! I would have paid my tailor to steam and press the dress! But it was too late for that, she was having back surgery that week and was out of commission. So I spent 3 hours trying to steam the dress myself. It turned out nicely, but it was such hassle and headache that was completely unnecesarry. I loved my dress and the pictures look great.....but I will NEVER tell a bride to go to David's. You don't need that stress!!!

We got our bride's maids dresses in the lapis color from David's bridal so we got our wedding invitations' ink to match. We got over 50 different samples from so many vendors and when it came down to it, David's Bridal had the best quality and price. We recieved them so quickly and the envelops were of good quality too! Some of the cheaper vendors had see through envelops which would have taken away from our invites. One piece of advice I got when picking my invitations was that the invitations set the theme of the whole night, people know how to dress. This helped us, so hopefully it will help you!

I ordered my dress online and when it arrived for $99 it was beautiful. I was able to take it to the store to try it on with my bridal party and close friends, they were very flexible.

I went to David's Bridal for my dress and all the Bridesmaid's dresses. My consultant was Pam B and she was the nicest and most helpful person to work with. My dress was gorgeous and all of the girls dresses looked great. Pam made it such a great experience!

Davids bridal was very helpful in helping me find a wedding dress. I even picked out my bridesmaids dresses there as well.

the gowns where pretty , but they nickel and dime you on every thing. I found them to be very pushy and not easy to work with.

David's Bridal was exactly what I expected it to be. If you are looking for convenience and working with a limited budget, this is the place to go. My experience bridal gown shopping was good, because I had an amazing sales associate that was patient, fun, and able to think outside the box to help me find the perfect dress. When we went back to try on bridesmaids dresses, it was a different story. The store was super busy, so we had to wait a long time between each dress to get new sizes and styles to try. We ended up going somewhere else, because the quality of the bridesmaids dresses was not what I was looking for and everything seemed too "springy" for a fall wedding. I recommend starting at David's if you aren't sure what you want, because there is a lot of variety and you can actually try on dresses in your own size. I ended up finding my dream gown, but I know this store isn't for everyone.

The great thing about David's is the amount of styles you get to try on. You can't beat the price. The fit came out perfect and I loved my dress. I really wasn't interested in spending tons on a dress. But it turned out really beautiful.

We used David's Bridal for the bridesmaid dresses. My appointment was on a Saturday, and they had marked that I cancelled and booked my place for another bride. They still fit us in to try on bridesmaid dresses, but we were pushed to the back of the store with 2 dressing rooms for 3 women, and I ended up getting most of the dresses myself. In the end, we did find their dresses. I did not check the dresses when they were picked up by my matron of honor. I should have. Two of the dresses were a size larger than what we ordered. We found this out when we went to another place for alterations, which ended up costing much more than they should have if the correct size was received.
It was the service I expected from a large bridal store, understanding that since I did not purchase my wedding dress from them, that we would not be given the same service as a bride who did. The dresses looked great and it all worked out. The one thing that really did not sit well with me was that when I did not answer my cell phone immediately when they called to see if there was anything else I wanted from them, they called my sister-in-law within 5 minutes of the call to me. This created quite a few issues since she did not appreciate the phone call.

I used Davids Bridal to get all dresses for my wedding (Grandmother, Both Mothers, All 3 Bridesmaids and the Bridal gown) I got to work with Sandy and she really was amazing. She wasn't afraid to tell me why a dress may not work and she even pulled a dress from the back that wasn't inthe main stock yet because it was one my mom loved, and it ended up being THE DRESS!!!! I had no issues with fittings with any of the women in my family and the dres was amazing!

Overall, dealing with David's Bridal was just annoying. I only had myself and one bridesmaid to shop for. The initial encounter with the helper at the salon for my dress went ok, but she didn't seem very interested in what she was doing, and every dress I tried on she thought was just perfect. Truthfully I think she just wanted me to pick one, although I picked the 2nd dress I tried on. We weren't at the salon for hours on end like some brides. The second time we were there was for my sister's dress. They seemed totally disinterested in us, even though we had an appointment. The salesperson kept walking away from us, and when we would need help with a size or a different dress we wound up walking to the front desk to get help. When we asked for help, they seemed annoyed. Since the prices are so low on the dresses I think I would say you get what you pay for. They do however have a pretty open schedule for appointments, but it's not like we were treated any differently with having an appointment.

I got my dress, my bridesmaid's dresses, and my flower girl dress at David's, as well as all the shoes and my headpiece. I loved all of them! However, I did not have the best of luck with customer service. For one every time I went in I was with a new consultant. They lost my first form that I had filled out with everyones information, so I had to complete another one. Then two times that I called and asked a quesiton I was told the wrong answer because when I went in they said that was not the case. In one of those situtations it was about the cost of a bridesmaids dress fitting. They told me on the phone that they couldn't give me an exact price, but they gave me a pretty wide range and the fitting cost as much as the dress cost which was ridiculous!

Bridesmaid dress was beautiful. They followup with orders and are very helpful. Only issue I had was when I had my appointment they get really upset when you dont buy that day, they make you know that you wasted their time!
