My sales person Shannon was so kind and helpful in regards to finding my wedding dress. She even called me up a few days later to see if there was anything else she could help me with in regards to dresses for the wedding.

It took alittle bit for someone to help us when we first arrived. The consultant was very nice, she had me pick out dresses I liked but i felt she didnt really understand what style i was going for when she would go out on the floor to pick out more dresses for me to try on. And when i went to go check out she kinda just passed us on to someone else.

Davids Bridal did a great job and our bridal asst was wonderful even when we bought our wedding dress at the one at washington square. They were most helpful even when we needed to change a bridemaids dress.

First off, each store is different. We had a much different experience (strongly negative) with their store in Seattle. I got my dress and most of my bridesmaids dresses from this store. The salespeople are friendly and helpful in getting dresses, but not particularly helpful in making a selection or picking a good fit or style. All the salespeople work based on commission, so they tend to be a bit competitive between each other. The accessories are mediocre, of average quality and price. It is worth it to buy the undergarments and veil there to be sure they go with the dress.

Be sure to buy all your dresses at the same time, since they may be discontinued at any time. We waited a couple days to purchase the last bridesmaid dress and it was discontinued, without any notice (none of the sales associates had any idea either, apparently its a decision made at the corporate level). The manager at the store was helpful in finding a dress that could be altered to the same design as the rest of the dresses, and we paid the lower price and nothing for the additional alterations it took to make that dress, which turned out perfectly.

The alterations service is in the store, but entirely separate from the sales. The alterations are expensive! They aren't particularly flexible on appointment or pickup times, and double check their work, they missed the bustle on my dress on my final fitting and I had to come back the next day.

Overall, you get what you pay for!

The clerks here were extreamly helpful and honest about my apperance in my dress which helped me to pick the perfect one! I trusted them to let me know if a dress was not right. They were also great for the alterations as well as answering general wedding questions for me.

i went during the 99 dollar sale, and i ended up finding a dress that was originally around 900 dollars and was cut to about 400. great value!!! and when trying on dresses, they really help you out! great service, great value, will recommend!

I purchased my dress, a wrap, and got my dress pressed at this location. Everything worked well. The atmosphere is barigain, but there are great deals and a huge selection.

Even though this vendor said walk in's welcome, I would advise making an appointment. Good prices on gowns, great selection from basic to very elegant.

I bought my dress a year before the wedding. They were great in getting me in when needed to do alterations however after the first dress fitting, they some how screwed up on my dress and it was tighter where it should have been looser and looser where it should have been tighter. I did not gain any weight and they could not find any directions regarding what should have been done. Even the bustles was screwed up and not done as was originally figured out. They did come to the rescue and made all the necessary changes without additional cost. When you get complimented in wearing a dress by another bride in the store (also trying on dresses) you know you found the like one.

I loved my dress, but I found it hard to discuss my needs with the alterations department. Overall good experience, I was discouraged to see that my dress dropped in price soon after I purchased it by $300. (That's a big chunk). I advise to watch the prices because some dresses do go down.

Invitations very nice. Came in about 3 weeks. People who received them thought they were very elegant.

As soon as i walked in i saw my dress that i wanted on a manakin! And it was on sale!!! The sales people were so helpful getting me in and out of the dress, finding accessories, bras, anything. And my sale lady personally called me about every month before my wedding, just to make sure things were fitting well and to see if she could help me find anything that i might be missing! Great customer service, and a great selection!

I went in not excited about dress shopping and left feeling like I received better service than if I had went to a small boutique. I had individual service and lots of dresses to choose from. They had the correct sizes too, which helped make it feel more real. I would recommend David's Bridal to any one on a budget or someone who wants a lot of choices - why spend thousands of dollars when you can spend hundreds =)

I found the dress of my dreams here, so of course I will recommend them!! They have a nice assortment, and I have a unique style, so this was great!

Bought my dress. It was amazing. the wonderful lady that helped me was so sweet..BUT, i had my dress taken in..then 1 week before the wedding..went in and put the dress on and after paying 250.00 for alterations (rip off) saw that she did a really bad job and it was all bunched up where they had sewed it. The lady tried to tell me it was fine, but my mom called in the manager who looked at it and saw right away it was a crappy job....she took care of it but i had to drive back into the shop the day before my wedding ( i live over an hr. away) It was extremely frustrating. I wouldnt go there again if i had to have a dress altered....

I ordered my invitations from the David's Bridal website which was wonderful - they shipped quickly and the website has a great preview feature so you can see exactly what the fonts/colors will look like.

As for buying the dresses, the sales girl that helped us was not the most friendly. Other than that, the selection and prices were great. My mom bought a mother-of-the-bride dress and had to exchange/special order sizes twice and they were very accomodating and quick to have the dress sent to the store.

Great dress at a really great price.
