David's Bridal has a great selection at very affordable prices. I had no problem finding the perfect wedding dress to fit my budget here. That said, I also did not use David's Bridal for my alterations. Glen Burnie is a little out of my way, so I did the alterations at a family cleaner's near me, Cappy Cleaners in Perry Hall. My alterations went without a hitch, and didn't cost nearly what others said theirs cost using David's. My advice: go here for your dress if, like me, you have trouble justifying the cost of a dress you wear for just one day--but do not get your alterations done here. Just not worth it.

My dress was amazing and everything i wanted it to be. But it took a lot of work on my part when it came to alterations. Things weren't done right the first time and i had to get 3 things fixed the second time around. Then one of them wasn't even fixed so they had to do it while i waited. I wish i had the women who helped me on my final day the first fitting, It would of been done right.

Had to wait a little longer than I anticipated for service, but I was a walk in...other than that, the selection, service and price were excellent. And I found the PERFECT wedding dress for me. Walked out with it the same evening!

I bought my wedding dress on sale at David's, and it was beautiful! It was a beautiful dress at a great price; however, my eyeballs almost bulged out of my head when I saw their alterations fees! And I felt like I was pretty prepared for the alterations fees. They put me a little over my budget...

When I went to my second fitting, I was very disgruntled at first because the neckline had been taken in too much and my breasts were being pushed up out of my dress and it was cutting into them. The seamstresses were very accomodating and reassuring. They remeasured me and corrected the dress while I waited for about an hour and a half since I lived so far from the store - initially they wanted me to return the next day.

Everything else I purchased from David's - the shoes, the veil, the sash for my dress, the flower girl dress and shoes - was wonderful. The items came in way quicker than the dates that were given. I also ordered an awesome handbag online... I am overall very pleased with the service, but I could have done without that heart attacks I had when I tried on the dress after the first round of alterations and when I saw the price of the alterations!

I would recommend visiting the store first thing in the morning before the employees become too busy, because you probably will have to wait around for a while. Also make sure to take somebody to help you in and out of your dress so you don't have to rely on them!

I chose David's Bridal for all the dresses for my wedding - mine, my maid of honor, 3 bridesmaids, and my flower girl. I picked out the dresses online and when I saw them all in the store, I knew they were exactly what I wanted! All of the dresses were gorgeous! The staff was friendly in the store and in the alterations department. I didn't even check out any other dress stores. I loved David's Bridal!

I loved my dress but the day i picked my dress the lady i had was with two or three people and i felt they were unprepared and didnt have the things i thought they would

My store was very helpful throughout the entire dress buying process. When my dress came in it was way too big and they let me exchange it for a smaller size. It still had to be altered, but it didn't cost me as much since there was less fabric. The alterations woman I worked with was great. The dress turned out perfectly. She was even able to hold my dress for me until a few days before the wedding. That made it much easier for me.

Had two experiences here...for my wedding dress it was horrible. I wanted a dress that had to be ordered because it wasn't in my size. Because it had to be ordered, they offered no lay-away. When I went back a few weeks later to finally order it, it had been discontinued and I could no longer get the dress. I ended up going to another bridal shop. The other experience was with my bridesmaid. Her dress was ordered online from them and had a broken zipper. They couldn't fix it. We then went to Glen Burnie and worked with Molly. She was great, found us a dress right then, had it ordered and made sure it arrived in time. She is the only one I would work with again from David's Bridal

I was very satisfied with the quality of my dress from David's. I received so many compliments on the dress I chose. The salespeople were very helpful for the most part. I would recommend making an appointment for a weekend, you get more one on one service. My first trip I went on a Saturday and it was crazy busy!! My only complaint would be with the alterations department. They did not fix the bustle on my dress correctly and had to add more buttons to it when I came for my fitting. It all worked out, but they were very unorganized about it. I would take your dress elsewhere for alterations!!

My dress was absolutely wonderful. However, when I lost 20 lbs over the year, this store wasn't flexible enough to have me come in on a day other than the ones they already have scheduled. Instead, I had to have the dressed shipped to Texas in order to have my alterations taken care of. Other than that, everything else turned out perfect for the day.

I loved my consultant Edie she was great. I didn't however love that one of my girls bought a dress, that was in the store. The gown had spots and they were unwilling to either take money off or clean the gown. Their policy is that it is no refunds so of course the spots had to come from being in the store. I just think that sometimes when stores get really big they forget about the little people. the little people are what make stores successful. I think if I had another formal event i probably will shop around first. David's would be my last resort.

AMAZING! I worked with Edie, if you ask for her you will find out why she's so amazing. She found my dress, it was the only on they had and it was in my size, she is just great at coordinating styles together and colors. I highly recommend David's Bridal, just do not go there on a Saturday, go during the week if you want to eliminate the crowd. Saturdays are their hectic days and you will not get the one-on-one attention that you could during the weekday. Ask for Edie!

The service could have been better. Went on a Saturday, and since the girl working with me was the only one that was bilingual, she was preoccupied with other guests. My mother and 2 bridesmaids helped the the majority of the time.

The dress was very beautiful though, and am very happy with the purchase and the great (low) price that I got the dress for.

If you want more 1-on-1 service, go during the weekdays, much much slower.

Also, I ordered the dress and instead of getting it in 2 months as told, I got it a month earlier. :)

I was super pleased with the dress and with the process to get the dress. It was a great value and was able to get all my bridesmaids dresses there as well (very easy especially since they live all around the country).

Well...I swore I would never use David's Bridal and I did! After being very unsuccessful at several small bridal boutiques, we ended up at David's. Surprisingly, I found one of the very few dresses I liked there! The woman who helped us was much more personable than many of the ladies at the other shops. I LOVED my dress and got so many compliments on it the day of. I don't think anyone would have ever guessed it was from David's! We also got the bridesmaid dresses there. It was a new style they had, so very up to date. I'm sure it was selling for three times the price elsewhere. Having stores nationwide made it easy for me to go with David's. (I had bridesmaids in California, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin!) I also had alterations done with them, and the dress fit absolutely perfectly. David's can often be busy, and you won't get the "feel" of a small bridal boutique, but when you're saving hundreds to thousands of dollars, you can overlook these small things.

i love my dress! it is perfect! and the help at david's was awesome!
