David's Bridal definitely exceeded my expectations. My first dress I tried on was the one I bought. My Consultant was great juggling two brides at the same time and still was able to give me the time I needed to get into the dresses and to give her input and to also help me get out of the dresses.

Casey help me out at the Eugene, OR David's Bridal. I had a wonderful experience. My bridesmaids, friends, and I went in and I only tried on 3 dresses before I found "The ONE!" It made me cry! Casey was very attentive, and quick to get what we needed.

For what it is, David's Bridal is not that bad. I'll grant you that it's the Wal-Mart of bridal boutiques. When you consider how much emphasis the Wedding Industrial Complex places on The Dress, and being "princess for a day," many brides might be disappointed at David's Bridal. You will not be served champagne in a luxurious salon with beautiful fresh flowers. You will also be spending hundreds less on a dress you will wear for one day.

I got engaged in March 2010 and was planning on a July 2010 wedding. Knowing how much time it can take to alter a gown, I went shopping almost immediately. As a plus size woman, I knew my options would be limited in most bridal boutiques. My budget was similarly limited. So, David's Bridal it was. I had a positive experience. The consultant who helped me was friendly and attentive, and she did not rush me or make me feel bad about myself or my body. I found a lovely dress that made everyone squeal with excitement when I walked out of the dressing room. Is it a beautiful silk gown hand-sewn by Vera Wang? No, but it will look pretty in pictures, it fit, and it didn't bust the budget.

If you are plus-sized, or have a limited budget, David's Bridal is a reasonable place to search for your gown. Keep your expectations in check about what you will find and what the gown shopping experience will be like (avoid "Say Yes to the Dress" beforehand), and you may be pleasantly surprised. Bonus: if you have a short engagement or need to buy a dress in a hurry, you are likely to be able to take a dress home the same day, avoiding the months-long wait at other boutiques.

David's bridal is a wonderful store to shop at, they have beautiful dresses and great prices, and are willing to work with you when you're on a budget. I would definetely recommend them and already have

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal and am very happy with my decision. While the girls working there didn't have the most expansive knowledge, you shouldn't be expecting super boutique service from a department store style dress gallery. I bought my dress for an extremely reasonable price and it was quick and easy to get in and out of the store. If you are looking for couture I suggest something like Kleinfeld's but if you're a bride on a budget with an idea of what she wants I would totally suggest David's Bridal.

They were friendly and professional when I was in the shop. My dress and all my alterations turned out great.

It really depended on when I went in to the store, some of the times I was not greeted at all, some of the times they were very friendly. The lady who helped me when trying on my dress was amazing and friendly and very personable. However, a few of the women working their were rude and stand off-ish. Making me feel like I was a bother. When I went in with my maid of honor to pick her dress we were not greeted or asked if we needed help at any point, until we asked someone. The quality of the dresses was wonderful however. The seamstresses were very kind, and my dress was finished in a timely manner. I would recommend Davids bridal for the quality of the work of the seamstress and the quality of the dress, though the professionalism and willing to help could use a little work from the rest of the team there.

When I decided to order my dress, I actually found it at the David's in Portland which was fine because I knew the one in Eugene would have the dresses for my bridesmaids...Once I ordered my dress, paid to have it shipped to the Eugene store, and paid 400 dollars for alterations, I was praying nothing else would go wrong, but I was wrong. The day of my wedding, two hours before the ceremony, one of my girls had the zipper on their dress break. I called David's incredibly upset and talked to a very rude manager who said I needed to get in my car, in my wedding dress, and drive the broken dress to them...Needless to say, I finally was able to get someone to drive out and fix the dress, but I wouldn't use them again.

I never thought I would buy a dress from David's Bridal because a lot of my firiends said the quality was not good but I found the perfect dress and had a great experience doing it. The sales assoiciate helped me find the right undergarments for my body and helped me pick a great dress that fit my budget and looked wonderful on me.

We ordered our bridesmaid dresses from Davids. They were very helpful and friendly. The dresses arrived on time and with no problems.

My consultant was friendly enough however even though it's by appointment only and it was the middle of the week she was the only consultant there and she was completely over booked. They had asked me to go to the website and choose what dresses I would like to try on before my appointment, which I did. But when I got there they acted like they have never heard of anyone doing something like that, so it was a total waste of my time!

I would NEVER recommend David's Bridal to any of my friends... sure they have decent prices and lots to choose from, but when it comes to anything else it was no good! When I found my dress at DB I didn't have the money right then to buy it... I asked the sales lady who was helping me to write down the price of the dress, sash, veil, etc. (there was a sale going on at the time)! When I came back about a week later to purchase the dress (the same sale was still going on) they charged me $75 more than she had written down, luckily I had the money cause they weren't going to budge and give me the price she had written!
The same day that I went in to try on dresses for myself I took all of my bridesmaids to try on dresses! One of the girls is larger than the rest so we had a big problem trying to find dresses that would fit everyone! Then when they didn't have the size she needed in the one that we had all decided that we liked for them, our attendant told us that she would order the size we thought she needed in the right color so that if it fit we could just buy it! When we called two weeks later to see if it had come in yet they said that it never got ordered! And... that there wasn't another one in that size or color anywhere in the United States... that it would have to come from Europe and it wouldn't arrive until June 28th.. the day after my wedding!!
Like I said I WOULD NEVER EVER SEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS TO DAVID'S BRIDAL!

I LOVE my dress I got from Davids Bridal. The only thing I was dissappointed with was that I was never told my dress didn't bussell and that it would cost me additional to have it done. I was very dissappointed when I called in to find out how to bussell it to be told this 3wks before my wedding and that the cost would likely be $140.00 more to have it done if it could even get done in time!! I really feel like this should of been explained when I bought it!!

I got my wedding dress, my bridesmaids' dresses and my mom got her dress all at Davids. They were very helpful and nice. I did have a few issues with my alterations but they were fixed within a few days.
