I was able to walk in and have a consultant help me immediately. I told her the type of dress I wanted in the color and size. She picked out a few dresses and I was extremely happy that I was able to find one that was exactly my size. I didn't even need an alterations. It was a good price and good service. I'm very thankful I went here for my dress.

I didnt really have any problems with Davids Bridal. I chose my dress. It came in on time. I did have my alterations done elsewhere though.

I did love my wedding gown, but knew what I wanted and went in and bought it without further fuss with David's. They were a pain with my bridesmaids dresses however. They kept delaying and delaying the date of arrival - we orded them 3 1/2 months prior to the wedding and they called to delay twice, leaving us only a few weeks for alterations elsewhere (because David's alterations are over priced and unsatisfactory). The prices are great, quality could use some work. Not terrible, not fantastic.

I was having a problem finding a dress with sleeves. I found one at the David's in Maple Shade NJ, but the staff there was very unprofessional, so I called the store in Deptford NJ. The staff was very professional and helped me receive the dress that I wanted. The young women that did my hem and busial was very helpful. The management team at the Deptford store was very well organized.

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal about 6-9 months in advance, before my July wedding. The dress was an Oleg Cassini and had a sweetheart neckline and intricate beading that detailed the dress. I especially fell in love with the dress because it was made for petite women, and I am 5'0. My mother picked out the dress and the minute I put it on I knew it was the one. i know it's cliche, but it's so true. You will know when the dress is the one. Anyway, everytime I went to David's Bridal I had a positive experience, for the most part. They ARE overpriced though (when it comes to headpieces anyway). I got my gown, shoes, hair piece, MOB dress, and BM dresses there. I didn't get the flowergirl dresses there (got them at a place called 'Dress Me Up' in Deptford mall for 60-75 bucks. They did a great job on tailoring, except the woman rescheduled on me like three times, which got to be annoying. Also, the attendent helping me in the back kept arguing with my bra size which was also really annoying. She insisted I was smaller than what I was because of my short frame, but was proved wrong. Mandy in Deptford, NJ is who I would highly recommend. Only get alterations you need..their prices are high. My alterations were about $300. All in all I loved my dress and had no problems with it on the wedding day.

I actually found the wedding dress that I loved the most here, but it cost too much money and I couldn't afford it. So I had someone make a dress for me that was similar to the one I fell in love with. I registered at david's bridal and that was not the thing to do. I was getting so many calls from a representative trying to get me to buy stuff from david's bridal and saying, "If there's anything I can help you with, just come in." She called at least once or twice a week. And she would call on my cell phone, not my house phone. I told her four times not to call my cell phone, but she kept calling it and that racked up the minutes on my cell phone bill. And I put my house phone number as my preferred method of calling. It got to the point that I wouldn't answer my cell phone when she called. She must have been really hurting for a sale because she just would not stop calling me.

I would recommend David's Bridal because they have gorgeous dresses at a reasonable amount of money, (the dress I wanted was a reasonable price, but it was cheaper to have it made for my budget.)

However, I recommend that you do not sign up to register there. They'll tell you that you'll get all kinds of savings in emails and such, but all you get is spam and no coupons or savings. Oh, and they'll stalk you and keep calling all the time.

I LIVE IN THE BRICK AREA AND MOST OF MY GIRLS WERE FROM SOUTH JERSEY AREA. WE VISITED MANY DIFFERENTREGULAR BRIDAL STORES BUT BECAUSE OF MY GIRLS HAVEIN GALL DIFFERENT BODY SHAPE THE WERE NOT ABLE TO HELP US. THEY WE DECIDED TO GO TO AVIDS BRIDAL. I FELT THAT WHEN COMPARING DAVIDS BRIDAL IN FREEHOLD AND DEPTFORD NOONE CAN BEAT DEPTFORD STORE. THEY WERE VERY NICE. WITH HAVING SO MANY DIFFERENT OPINIONS THAT MY GIRLS HAD FOR ONE ANOTHER THEY WERE THE BEST TO HELP US OUT.

BESIDES THAT... I WAS IN 2 OTHER WEDDING AND THATS WHERE WE GOT OUR DRESSES. I DONT KNOW WHY I DIDNT THINK OF THEM FIRST!

THANKS DAVIDS BRIDAL YOU MADE MY WEDDING AND CHANGED MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE FROM THE FREEHOLD ONE BETTER.

David's Bridal employees were very rude on several occasions. Even though the dresses are cheap the service is terrible from the sales women to the seamstresses which makes the whole experience terrible.

I loved my girls' dresses. The process of getting them, however, caused a few stressful moments. My bridesmaids are spread across several states, so we used several different David's Bridals. Each store, however, does not communicate with the others; one would call me and say "so-and-so hasn't bought her dress yet" when in fact, she was the first one fitted. My name was in the system several times because some girls gave nickname and others gave formal name--the worker didn't think to search by last name and then check first name. For a while, my maid-of-honor's phone number was listed as my number. I was frustrated that the store called ME when the girls' dresses came in, rather than calling each girl (I understand bridal parties often go as a group, but each girl was paying for her own dress, why would they need to call me and tell me each individual status). I was frustrated at Deptford because we would call for an appointment and then they would (in my opinion) overbook and we wouldn't get as prompt service as we needed--so a 1/2 hour trip turned into a 2 hour trip. Most of this is trivial and not a problem, I could have lived with it.

But, when my mom went to order her dress, she was told she would HAVE to take the sample since they were not allowed to order a dress if the size was currently in stock. WHAT?!??!!? For several hundred dollars, I want a new dress that has not been tried on by countless other people. I want unstressed seams and zippers, I want no pulls or marks, especially since it's not a discontinued item and is still availabe to order. (A very sweet lady in Cinncinatti did bend the rule and quietly ordered a new one for us when we were shopping for my cousin's bridesmaid's dress.)

I was also dissatisfied with their standard "6-8 weeks" answer. A flowergirl dress came in damaged--it would be another 6 weeks. WHAT???? The wedding is in 8 weeks, that's not an acceptable answer. Shoes came in improperly dyed. That would be another week to get them and another week to dye them, and they weren't guaranteed to be correct then either. And when I went to purchase jewelry for my bridal party--8 individuals--and wanted to look at a necklace, they couldn't show me that exact one, they'd have to order it. And I'd have to pay for it. And it would be 6 weeks. WHAT? Are they hand made? Since it was close to the wedding, I would have to order for the entire bridal party--and pay for it, $250--sight-unseen. I went somewhere else for jewelry.

I felt their customer service was lacking through the entire process. Their dresses are pretty, but a bit pricey for the workmanship and material. I would not tell people to shy away from here, but I would advise you look around a lot before you decide.

I ordered my dress online from a different source and I'm glad I did.

Here is the deal, the Deptford location did excellent and above average in some areas and dropped the ball in others, but really tried to make up for it. First, my coordinator, Laz Watkins, was exceptional. She was the epitome of professionalism and friendliness. She really provided consultation for fit and style for my entire party and made the experience fun for the entire party. She even gave came to my wedding to make sure every detail was exactly the way it was intended. My dress came back ahead of schedule which was also great. My invitations and other items like my flutes, cake service, unity candle, etc., were shipped in a very timely manner with no errors and were exactly as described.

Areas where they really dropped the ball, my veils, dresses, shoes, and pins which were shipped to the store all arrived separately which was painfull. They also did my alterations which I paid extra for rush and not only weren't they done as scheduled, but I had to wait two hours only to find out the dress was hemmed crookedly and had to be redone. A bright spot was that they did accomodate me by hemming the dress while I had it on to make sure it was perfect and so I could take it with me like I was supposed to but a professional tailor would not have hemmed a crooked hem in the first place and what was supposed to take 20 min. for a final fitting extra cost rush job took four hours! I'd recommend working with Laz and ordering your dress way in advance and going for professional alterations with your own tailor.

I've never been a fan of the fact that they don't really let you just shop in David's Bridal. There is always someone assigned to you as soon as you get in the door and you don't really get to just browse on your own. For my wedding dress, our representative just grabbed a few dresses and put me in the fitting room. She had me come out and critique each dress- likes and dislikes. She really was listening though and really did know their inventory, the dresses she started grabbing really were getting closer and closer. Then finally, she found the perfect dress for me. It really was amazing how she did it- and I'm not sure that I ever would have found it on my own mixed in with all of those other dresses!

David's bridal was a great place for me because I was not into being the "princess bride". I went in during the week ( weekends are crazy!) and the salesperson was very nice. I told her the type I was looking for, and she gathers several dresses for me at one time. She then forced me to try on ones that I didn't think I would want to wear, just to see.

I knew I wanted a halter top dress, and I got a halter top dress. The dress I purchased was a special order that someone no longer wanted. When I tried it on, I just knew it was the one! After that, she pushed and pushed and pushed for me to buy the other amenities that supposedly go with the dress ( bra, shoes etc). All in the same day! So of course, I bought the bra (didnt wear it, didnt need it), bought the shoes ( loved them) and then bought a head piece. I also bought the vail etc. In total the whole attire was about $1,100. I couldn't have really gotten a better deal either! When you purchase the dress, you also walk out with it right then and there! I was dumbfounded, and had no place to store it. I went out 9 months in advance.

The only thing I would recommend is taking your dress to a tailor to get it hemmed. The hemming and the bustling turned about the be the biggest pain in the butt. The alterations department in this David's bridal was horrible.
