Rev. Price was very easy to work with. From our first meeting, it was clear she would be flexible and very helpful with suggestions and ideas. We had a few unique requests and she really helped us work our way through them, allowing us to make decisions we were happy with. Her ceremony was simple, elegant and worked perfectly with the setting we were looking for. Despite some noise from jets taking off from Reagan Nat'l Airport, she worked around it and did a great job making sure all the guests heard her. Highly recommended!

We used Julie for our offiant needs, and boy were we glad!!! We wanted someone who was classy and modern but also someone who knew what they were doing.
Julie was fabulous, she made the ceremony creation process so easy...I had no idea what to expect or how much work I would have to do. Julie provided us with a ceremony workbook, which I've saved, that included different verbiage styles for each section of the ceremony. All we had to do was read the different styles and pick one! All of the different selections were so good that picking one seemed to be the hardest part of the whole process! It really was so easy and by the time we got to the ceremony portion of wedding planning I was extremely grateful to have found someone who matched our personal style and knew what she was doing. It was a load off and an easy check mark on the list. We planned our ceremony in an a day...aside from us writing our own vows which took me a little bit :)
My favorite part of our wedding was the ceremony, for many reasons but one was b/c of Julie. She wasn't preachy at all. She contributed to an intimate and romantic setting. We received so many compliments on our ceremony. The guests could really feel the love!
We highly recommend using Julie for your ceremony needs, you won't be disappointed.

Julie Price is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are so glad that we picked Julie to run our ceremony. It is amazing how important this person is, because she is so central in our most tender memories, the ones where we pledged ourselves to one another. We could not have picked a more thoughtful, charming, and understanding officiant. We would highly recommend her.

Julie was such an amazing officiant! She meets with you ahead of time to figure out exactly what you want your ceremony to be like, and has a ceremony workbook that is totally customizable. We wanted a ceremony that was spiritual but not necessarily religious and were very happy with what we wound up with. We also added in a family blessing of the rings that she had not done before and she was very accommodating with that as well. On the day of the wedding she was calm and professional and her words and voice carry a lot of power and emotion. We had several people come up to us afterward and ask if we knew her personally, because the service was so individualized. One friend liked Julie so much that she is trying to see if she can get her to travel to Mexico for her destination wedding!!!

Julie was a wonderful officiant and great to work with. We highly recommend her! We received many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and meaningful our wedding ceremony was and how it brought tears to their eyes. Julie is a great public speaker with a very pleasant voice. We've been to several weddings where the officiant isn't captivating, but Julie is far from that. We also took Marriage Preparation class with Julie, which we found to be useful, and it also gave us an opportunity to have more face time with her before the wedding. We are very happy with our decision in hiring Julie as our officiant.

Rev. Julie Price was an incredibly professional, warm, and personable officiant. She was very organized, and wanted to get to know us as a couple even during our initial meeting. I appreciated how flexible she was in the ceremony content we wanted, and she was able to move her schedule around to suit a better meeting location as we were car-less. Even though we didn't need Julie to run through the rehearsal, she gave us enough direction during our final meeting that we felt very comfortable running the rehearsal without her being there. The ceremony was beautiful and ran so smoothly. We also attended a marriage seminar she facilitated, and not only was it a great use of our time, we also got to know Julie better. It helped us have more of a connection, rather than it being a complete stranger performing the ceremony (which was my fear). Working with her was a pleasure.

Rev. Julie Price did an absolutely wonderful job as our officiant for our wedding ceremony. During the planning process, she was very well-organized, efficient, and responsive. Planning our ceremony was very easy due to Rev. Price's ceremony workbook. While you can add anything you want to the ceremony, it was nice to have options laid out for us.
Unfortunately and unexpectedly, a wedding took place next door to ours at the same time (we were outside). Rev. Price did a great job of keeping everyone's focus on OUR ceremony and was really a calming presence when I was freaking out. Her voice carried really well and she was amazing at directing us discreetly during the ceremony (although we were well-prepared since she went through everything with us during our final meeting).
So many of my relatives have commented on Rev. Price and wanted to know how I found her. I would definitely not hesitate a second to recommend her to a friend or anyone. A lot of things went wrong on my wedding day and I was disappointed with a bunch of my vendors, but Rev. Price was a real bright spot and I am so happy that she was our officiant.

Rev. Julie Price did an amazing job of officiating our wedding. She was extremely friendly and personable, and was very responsive in her correspondence with us, which was mostly done over email and the phone. Since my husband and I live in California and were planning a wedding in Virginia, we could not have a face-to-face meeting with Rev. Price until the week before the wedding, and yet she was very flexible and was able to cover everything via email and at the meeting. She tailored our ceremony and marriage address to fit our beliefs, and conducted it beautifully and smoothly the day or our wedding. Although she couldn't make it to our rehearsal (she is so popular that she was booked the evening of our ceremony rehearsal), she provided us with a rehearsal worksheet with detailed specifics that we and our wedding coordinators were able to follow very well. Our parents and guests were moved by her address, and we kept getting comments on how beautiful our ceremony was and what a great job our officiant did. Rev. Julie Price was very professional and truly a dream to work with; we would recommend her to anyone.

Julie Price officiated our wedding last month, and she was a true joy to work with. My husband and I were looking for a meaningful wedding, but one that was not religious--and she more than met our needs! She is a warm, kind individual that will remind you that a wedding, even with all the craziness of planning, is still about marriage. She was very flexible about designing a ceremony that allowed us to express our love for each other in a way that was comfortable for us. Our guests -- some religious, some not -- all loved the ceremony and kept asking how we knew Rev. Price, which I think is a testament to the excellent job that she does. She was a perfect choice!

Rev. Price, with Creative Ceremony, was an absolute joy as an officiant! My husband and I are not originally from the area, and we were worried about finding a minister to perform our wedding ceremony that we would feel comfortable with.
Rev. Price set us competely at ease. She was flexible and enthusiastic and has a wonderfully warm personality. Our ceremony was beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests.
I can't recommend Creative Ceremony highly enough!

No less than five of our guests mentioned that they felt compelled to renew their wedding vows after attending our wedding. Our guests laughed & cried, we too laughed and cried during our very special, very unique and warm ceremony. I can't think of enough good things to say about Rev. Julie Price. I happened upon her while searching through theknot.com, and it was the best find I have ever had through the internet! She is warm and friendly; she responds quickly to calls and e-mails; she is open-minded and genuinely cares about crafting a unique and loving ceremony. We had several in-person meetings with her, and we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. In fact, she bought us a bottle of wine at our last meeting when we told her how stressed we were!
Julie is obviously experienced as a wedding officiant, and she made many helpful suggestions for us as we were putting the ceremony together. On the actual day, Rev. Price came into both our dressing rooms to check on us, sign the marriage license, and get the paperwork done right away. She greeted me with a big hug and smile, which was very comforting! I had no stress, wondering if she would remember to send everything off; most likely, she did it on her way home from our ceremony. Her voice projected strong and clearly through the room. And, no joke, but my now-husband and I had several people approach us afterwards and ask us about her. They were amazed that we weren't old friends! Our wedding guests just loved her -- and we did too!
Rev. Price comes with our highest recommendation. At this point, we feel she is Northern Virginia's best kept secret, in terms of wedding officiants. Her care with us exceeded all expectations we had, and we are delighted that she was part of our wedding day.

Julie was a dream to work with. Upon meeting with her for the first time, we felt very comfortable with her, she took the time to get to know us and personalize a ceremony just for us. She is extremely professional, but also a very warm and sincere person, and our guests kept telling us how absolutely beautiful our ceremony was. We wanted a very specific ceremony, and Julie worked with us to get it exactly the way we wanted. She delivered the ceremony beautifully, even without a microphone, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I would absolutely reccommend her to anyone looking for an officant who will work with you to step outside of the traditional wedding ceremony lines!!
