I don't know that much about flowers, but I knew the style I wanted and Amy just "got it". She absolutely made my vision happen. I LOOOOVED my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets, completely adored all my centerpieces and still have my place-card table centerpiece (dried) in my living room! She did an amazing, amazing job, was never pushy, and was always professional. She is a busy woman, so don't expect an email back immediately -- she will be spending her time making sure your flowers are perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We clicked with Amy right away. We told her the feeling we wanted our guests to get when they came to our wedding. Rustic, barn, outdoor, etc. She "got us" so much that she mentioned that she had been wanting to make an arbor out of sticks and asked us if we wanted to be her guinea pigs for it. I had been hoping and dreaming about having an arbor made of sticks so we enthusiastically said YES! The outdoor decorations and the Arbor were unbelievable. The bouquets she made were gorgeous. The boutonnieres were really cute and not too flowery or anything. One of my bridesmaids said they were her favorite bouquets of any wedding she had been in (she's been in quite a few). The way Amy organized the centerpieces were like she was in my head reading my mind. I think we really benefitted from finding a vendor that did amazing work but was also on the same general life wavelength as we are. We received many compliments on the flowers. She's a wonderful person to work with, and I think pretty affordable.

Amy did a fantastic job on our flowers! They took my breath away. We used three different styles on our reception tables and they all looked incredible! I sent her photos of styles I liked and she made the vision come to life in my color scheme. She was able to work within our budget and still give us amazing arrangements. I highly recommend her to any couple looking for flowers in the VA area.

Country Way was wonderful!

Amy was our floral coordinator and she did a great job understanding what I was looking for in our flowers. I showed her a couple pictures of what I liked and she wrote me a perfect proposal within our budget. They were even willing to work with my vases and didn't make me buy theirs. They showed up on time and got everything in place.

Also, the Country Way shop in Middleburg is so cute! It's full of all these cute little floral gems, check it out if you can! Great florist! I highly recommend them!

I am reviewing Country Way Flowers because I sat with Amy from Country Way for about 2 hours and never received a proposal. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and I even emailed Amy to give her the benefit of the doubt. I thought, maybe something happened. But, I still didn't receive a response. Even searched my junk folder of my gmail, where real mail rarely goes. Unfortunately, she will not gain my business ever from being so rude and unresponsive. I wasn't going to write except I see other brides thought the same thing and luckily, I did not procure her services after seeing the unresponsive nature. I guess Country Way is so popular, they don't need to respond with proposals after brides spend a significant time with them that the bride could have spent with another vendor eager for business. Here's a tip: at least write or call to say, I'm sorry it's taking me a while or I'm sorry I can't take your business at this time. On a positive note, Amy's previous work looked beautiful. Wish we could have done business together.

First, let me say, my flowers turned out very well for the wedding. I loved all of the flowers and the colors that Country Way chose. However, I do have a few complaints about the overall relationship we had. The employee that I was working with left CW about 3 months before my wedding. While that news was unsettling, I realize these things happen and I proceeded to contact the owner who was taking over my contract. She was somewhat unresponsive via email and recommended that I call her instead. I do not have much time to make phone calls during the day, as I work during business hours, so this was somewhat inconvenient. The other problem that I had was that I had originally discussed with the employee that left, that I would be bringing my own vases for the centerpieces to the venue and requested that they provide arrangements that could be placed into the vases. She acted like that wouldn’t be a problem, but then the owner let me know a week or so before the wedding, that she needed the vases the day before the wedding. I asked if she could just bring the arrangements to the venue, to save me a trip (during the very hectic week before the wedding), and she said no. I made a special trip out to the florist to drop these off a couple days before. Another issue was that she charged me $25 for petals for the flower girl’s basket and a basket. When I told her that I did not need a basket, just the petals, I was told that it would be the same price regardless. I said ok, and paid for the petals anyway. On the day of, the petals that I received were in a massive bag, and only about 1/3 of them were used, which was kind of a waste. Finally, I was a little disappointed with some of the boutonnières for the men, including the groom. They were a plain yellow rose that was a little too big/awkward looking, and I just thought they looked a little cheap, especially for $8 a piece. Overall, the cost was a little high in my opinion. I was originally quoted about $300 more than I paid and when I said it was too high, the price was reduced and the explanation was that the arrangements would be “slightly smaller.” I was fine with that, except they were pretty small, and I still paid about $1500 for 10 centerpieces, 2 other arrangements for the ceremony, about 10 boutonnières and corsages, my bouquet, a tossing bouquet, and 6 bridesmaids bouquets. I also used all flowers that were in season and cheaper. Again, the flowers turned out to be pretty on the whole, but not sure I would use CW again.

Elise at Country Way did an amazing job with my bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres - AND she stayed within my budget!!! The flowers were gorgeous and she was able to incorporate the peacock feathers I added in at the last minute. I was so pleased and have dried my bouquet and my new husbands boutonniere for our future kids to see. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special!!

Elisa from Country Way was every brides dream flower vendor! I changed my mind a million times but even from our first appointment she really listened and understood what my vision was. I made personal touches to each one of my bridesmaides flowers including specials pins and qoutes and Elisa delivered exactly what I was hoping for and then some. She even worked with me on my centerpieces when I told her I had already purchased the vases thinking i could make the centerpieces myself for less...in the end I handed all stress and responisbility to Elisa and she did above and beyond what I ever expected! Her attention to detail and patience with me made our specail day perfect!

Amy at Country Way was phenomenal !!!! She was so patient with us and her creativity was amazing. Her arrangements were beyond what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend her to anyone! I can't thank her enough for helping to create such a perfect day.

I can't say enough about how beautiful our flowers were on our wedding day. I worked with Elisa at Country Way. Elisa was fantastic, professional and was willing to work with us on what we wanted, even though we had a small budget. Once the flowers arrived on the day of the wedding, I couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked. She understood exactly what I wanted. Numerous guests also commented on how georgeous the flowers were. Thank you again!

The Country Way provided the flowers and decor for our ceremony and reception in Duck, NC and they were absolutely gorgeous! While I loved everything Amy created some of the highlights were the head wreath for my neice who was the flower girl as well as the Arbor that she completely covered in flowers for the ceremony; it was amazing! The centerpeices for the reception were also just perfect. My guests are still talking about the flowers! Amy's creativity and talent is top notch.

We used Country Way Florist for our wedding. I met with Amy and she was wonderful in our initial meeting. I told her that I wanted flowers that would be simple, elegant and romantic in our affordable price range. She came through. I loved the flowers that she chose for my maid of honor and bridesmaids. I also had flower petals for my flower girl and flower petals around the cake and on each table. The only thing that made my review on the average side was that she was very late in bringing my bridal party flowers to the church. Even after I met with her the week prior to review all final details. Our ceremony started at 2pm and she showed up to the church at 1:45pm after she confirmed via email that she would be there at 12:30pm. Needless to say I was highly upset. The flowers were great but no bride wants to be left wondering just minutes before her ceremony where her flowers are. I still have all the emails confirming the times. She thought our wedding started at 2:30pm. By the way, she never followed up to say she was sorry or anything. I would not recommend her.

The flowers I received from Country Way were so beautiful and more than I ever expected. It was perfect in everyway. I loved my boutique and the boutiques that were for my MOH and two flower girls.

Amy did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding. I provided her with pictures of the bouquet and centerpieces I wanted and what she gave me looked almost identical. The flowers were beautiful and we recieved dozens of compliments on them (especially the gorgeous cherry blossom branches we had as centerpieces). She is also incredibly affordable. We got everything we wanted for a little over $1,000 which I've heard is extremely low for the DC area.

The reason for the lower rating is her responsiveness. I literally felt like I was stalking her at some points. I would e-mail and never receive a response, I would call and never get a call back (or I'd have to call 3 or 4 times before I'd receive a response). I had contacted her numerous times to send me a contract and eventually she mailed it to me in an empty envelope! The most infuriating part was that she forgot to deliver the flowers on the wedding day even though both the wedding planner and I had talked to her just a week before about dropping them off (and we set up a time so that they'd be there before the photographer). The flowers did eventually get there but the fact that they were two hours late stressed me out and held up our photos (we lost about half an hour with the photographer).

In short, she's an amazing and affordable florist but her responsiveness (and forgetting to deliver the flowers!) makes me hesitant to suggest her to anyone.
