Sandy did a fabulous job on our cake. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. When we tasted all of her cakes we were unable to pick between the vanilla and chocolate so she made our cake half vanilla and half chocolate. My groom has a dairy allergy so she made a special cake for him.

When my florist forgot to include cake flowers, Sandy was able to pull flowers from the centerpieces and make it all work. And it turned out beautifully! Thank you so much!!

When I first sampled cake from Confectioner's Art at a bridal expo I knew they were the vendor for me. Since my financee wasn't with me at the expo we went to tastings with 2 other bakers and he was also sold on Confectioner's art after trying their cakes. The others just didn't compare. I had a general idea of what I wanted for the cake but was blown away by how great it looked when it arrived at our venue the day of the wedding. It was exactally what I had imagined AND it was delicious! Numerous guests told me how much they enjoyed the cake and some even went back for seconds since we had extra due to the surprise groom's cake I had ordered. My mom even ordered a third cake for our family reunion the day after the wedding because I kept going on and on about how good it was. Needless to say, the family was all happy to have more of the cake the next day!

Absolutely delicious cake. Beautiful design. Very accommodating with changing design when the season of our event changed from Fall to Spring. We originally contracted to have chocolate fall leaves as decor, which would clearly not work in Spring.

We loved our cakes! Our family and friends agreed that the cakes tasted delicious, and as people know, some cakes look great but don't taste that great! Sandy also did a 2D grooms cake of our college mascot, the JMU Duke Dog, that look awesome. Our friends were so impressed, and it added some fun to the reception when everyone busted out into the fight song!

Sandy provided 2 grooms cakes and our wedding cake. The grooms cakes were decorated with the jerseys of my husbands 2 fav basketball players. Each was a different flavor. We did this because we just couldn't choose one. Everything was delicious. I am very picky about cake, but these were absolutely fantastic. There were no issues and the prices were well within our budget. Also, the delivery charge was reasonable (I found it to be much higher at other places).

Sandy is great! She spent a lot of time with my husband and I to put together a cake design that fit our style. When we went to taste the cakes she provided two free samples and two more samples for $5 each. We thought we were going to get tiny pieces to try like we did at every other cake tasting, but Sandy had four small cakes baked! After we had a slice of each, she wrapped up the rest of the cakes and let us take them home! These cakes are delicious. So many cakes we tried from other cake makers were either dry or the icing tasted strange. Sandy's cakes are moist and just overall delicious. My husband also wanted a groom's cake shaped in the style of a DeLorean time machine from the movie "Back to the Future." One cake maker told us it would cost over $500 to get a modeled cake like that. Sandy did it for a fraction of that! You can't beat her prices for the quality you get. The wedding cake was beautiful and delicious and the DeLorean cake was done in amazing detail. Everyone loved it! We almost didn't want to eat it since it would destroy it, but we knew how good it would taste, so we ate it in the end!

Sandy did an AMAZING job with my cake! We had an initial meeting and she answered all my questions and gave some suggestions, and the cake sample was soooo good! It wasn't just a teeny slice, it was an actual little cake! And for a small cost, you can have another little cake if you can't decide the flavor! So after that meeting, I found the PERFECT wedding cake in a magazine and scanned it and sent it to her via email. I explained that I wanted it exactly like the picture, and I was SO excited when the day arrived to see the EXACT cake in front of me as I saw in the picture! Everything was so detailed and she did a really excellent job! Oh, and the cake was super tasty too!! I can't wait to try it again when I eat the top tier with my husband on our first anniversary!! :) :) :) Def. recommend!

Sandy did an amazing job with our wedding cake! It was absolutely beautiful and the taste was so yummy; my guests are still talking about it. I also wanted to surprise my groom with a grooms cake and Sandy helped me with that. I wanted an iPhone cake and she came through beautifully with it and my guests loved it and my husband was totally surprised and thrilled with it.
I would definitely reccommend using Sandy!! I can't wait to eat our cake topper in a year!

The reason we chose Confectioners Art was because it was local. Sandy had great reviews and we were happy with her and the sample cakes that she had us try. I gave Sandy a picture of a cake I liked and on the wedding day when I saw the cake I was so happy with how it looked. The cake and the detail she put on the cake looked great! The added bonus was that the cake tasted good too! It was very moist and the icing was really tasty, better than the samples we had tried!
I rated Sandy low on responsiveness, two weeks prior to the wedding I called all my vendors to make sure they were still booked for my wedding day and everything they needed was provided. It took me over a week, many phone calls, voice messages and emails before I was able to get in touch with her. That added a bit of stress that I didn't want.

Wow, our wedding cake was beautiful and it tasted great. Our guests can't stop talking about how delicious and moist the cake was and how much detail was placed into making this cake. We meet with Sandy and showed her a picture of a cake we had found on the internet and told her this is how we wanted our cake with a few minor changes. She incorporated our changes into the design and the cake was just beautiful. Sandy was very easy to work with and her prices are very reasonable. We had over 100 guests at our wedding and all of them love the cake with the buttercream icing and strawberry filling inside. Sandy is a top notch cake designer and we would recommend her services to everyone.

Our cake was absolutely amazing. Super moist, full of rich flavor and the best tasting (and looking) buttercream icing I've ever had. No need for fondant - Sandy did a beautiful job with buttercream, creating cherry blossom flowers that looked amazingly real. Our wedding was small (30 people) but we wanted enough of each flavor for everyone to have some of both, and Sandy worked with us on the pricing, which was already more reasonable than I had found with other bakers. Highly recommended!

Sandy was easy to work with. The cake tasted great, but didn't exactly look like I wanted it to. I sent her a picture and some detailed emails, and I don't think she focused on them. But it was good enough. The guests loved the cake and we did to.

What can I say? Sandy made an incredible looking and tasting cake! People requested seconds during the reception and are still talking about it! It turned out exactly how we wanted it and Sandy even brought her supplies with her to fix the cake when I didn't give her the topper. Talk about coming prepared :) We recommend her to everyone!
