Having fun music at our reception was vey important to us, and this is why we chose to pay extra for Tony. My fiancee/husband spent a lot of time filling out our online worksheet and put a lot of thought into it. Tony contacted both of us the week of the wedding to go over details of the reception and walk through the evening. He was very profesional but we were disappointed that it didn't feel like he paid attention to the worksheet. He didn't hand the microphone to my father to give his speech (which was noted on our worksheet and in our conversation), which is seriously the biggest regret I have about the entire day. As a bride, everything is a whirlwind and I realized my father didn't give a speech halfway through the evening and it was too late. It makes me sick thinking of how special that lost moment would have been! Tony didn't have the one song that my husband waned played (Toto's Africa, a common wedding song) that was also on our worksheet and my husbad requested the day of....what DJ doesn't have that song? My husband and I dislike 'icebreakers' very much and knew we didn't want one and noted that on our worksheet and in our conversations with Tony, yet he did the snowball dance and played boogie-wogie bugle boy, my husband and I were mortified and annoyed. One friend requested Enrique Iglesia's I Like It, and he didn't have it!. He also played songs that were not our style again, noted on our worksheet) and my husband had to tell him to stop one song b/c it was horrible and no one was dancing. We had a fun partyand everyone had a great time, but my husband and I were disappointed in our DJ, especially since we paid more for him b/c he is more experienced.

I was extremely disappointed by this DJ service. We happened to be a bit later than originally planned coming from the ceremony and all of our guests were already at the reception hall and the dj did not play music or anything for 1 1/2 of the 4 hours we paid him for. Instead, he socialized with guests. All of the plans made before the wedding day were not followed AT ALL and the dj spent a lot of his time socializing instead. He played oldies when I requested Top 40 hits. Overall, I was VERY disappointed and will NEVER use them again!

Grade: D. Our DJ was Steve Liggett with Complete Music, and I thought he handled our wedding reception well enough. There were some songs that were noticeably skipping during dinner...enough to where the busy bride & groom noticed. He also announced that he'd take requests, which I was sure I'd said not to do in my paperwork, but the only song I was relatively annoyed at was the Chicken Dance, which my own darn father requested, so....but by then, everyone had been drinking and had a good time, so it's all good. He handled our "Shoe Game" FLAWLESSLY and people are still talking about how much fun they thought that was. The lights were fun, and he played a great mixture of slow songs and fast songs and group dance songs. The company, though, was extremely pushy until they got my money and then MIA until I b!tched about them on the Knot 2 weeks before my wedding about not getting back to me. I don't recommend using a DJ factory like this, if you can help it. Go with someone you have already heard good reviews about. The REASON he and this company gets a D is because the day we got back from the honeymoon, hubby and I went to my brother and SIL's house and I found out that my DJ made some a-hole comments when my brothers requested that he play "Sweet Caroline" for us since we're Red Sox fans. Apparently, Steve wasn't too keen on that, but not because we said no requests. I've been told that his response was something like, "Oh sure b/c I've got all night," or "I'm only paid to XX time," or something else completely inappropriate. I was also told that when my 8-year old niece asked him for something he said "I'll see if I can find it" and didn't even really acknowledge her. If I'd known this before I left the reception, I would've yanked that cash tip envelope right back out of his hand. This makes me FURIOUS, and I'm seeing to it that I tell EVERY bride to be about this vendor and to find someone else.

We had Tony Williams and well he sucked! He didnt play anything anyone requested. After the "ice breakers" he completely fell off the wagon. To add to his suckiness a week before our wedding we had to call him to tell him what music we wanted because he never contacted us. If you go with complete make sure you don't get him.

It may have just been the DJ I was sent, but I was rather displeased with his performance. My bridesmaids had to ask him numerous times to please call us over for our first dance and the bouqet toss/garter toss, etc, because the photographer was supposed to be able to leave. He kept postponing it. He told one of my bridesmaids that he would do it after that song, but 4 or 5 songs later another bridesmaid had to go up there and tell him again.

Not only that, but I told him I wanted the music selection to be very elegant, and he played the most ridiculous songs when we walked into the room and throughout the evening, until my bridesmaids pointed out to him that this type of music wasn't what I had requested.

I had requested a specific DJ for the wedding, and at the last minute, Complete Music assigned someone else to it. I talked to him on the phone and he assured me that he understood exactly what I wanted. It was miserable!!!

The only good thing about it was that the service was pretty cheap compared to other music options, though I wish I had spent more money on this and gotten a real band or something... Also, thankfully, my photographer was a saint and stayed later than she was supposed to in order to get the important pictures.

My best friend and I both had DJs from this company and both had bad experiences. They were both very unprofessional and did not listen to what we, as the brides and grooms, wanted. They played songs that we asked them not to and did not stop if we asked them to. Our DJ made my husband and I look terrible when explaining something that we wanted to do and he did not seem to care what we thought. My best friend's DJ played his own music the whole night, not stopping after being asked about ten times and the speaker system stopped three seperate times during the night for about fifteen minutes every time. Overall, this company has not impressed me.

I had the worst DJ for our wedding. The manager of the office, nor anyone who worked in the office was not much better. I was not contacted until 24 hours before our wedding! Which being a first time bride and being told originally that all of this music business would be done 4-5 business days before the wedding, I was freaking out.

I contacted the office more than a dozen times, went to their offices twice (each of which no one was there) ALL of my phone calls went un-returned

Our dj brought his girlfriend, made out with her and drank all night long....he did not listen to our requests at all. I specifically had written out what I wanted for songs and what "games" i wanted (ie: dollar dance and garter toss etc) and yet all night long he had to keep calling us up to his booth because he failed to bring our requests, and couldn't remember what we wanted...not very professional at all. He also made no attempt and getting our sitting crowd to move out of their chairs and he was not interactive at all.

Very disappointed. Negative comments from guest. Music wasn't checked before event and Father/Daughter song of choice couldn't be played. Ordered Video equipment was missing: it was rushed to event. A specially prepaired photo and video montage was played without sound. Very costly for such unprofessional service.

Since this Complete Music was highly recommended to me, I was extremely disappointed in them! It just seemed like everything, from our first phone call to the end of our reception, was not acceptable. When we called to schedule them, we were insulted. We weren't reached again for music choices until the day before the wedding. Our presentation was delayed almost 10 minutes because the DJ wasn't prepared, then our first dance song skipped the whole way through it--the dk tried to restart it, but I was on the verge of tears and very angry that our first dance was ruined. Our DJ was very nervous and seemed inexperienced and uncomfortable. Like I said, I had heard them before and was pleased, but after my experiences with them I would NOT recommend them.

The DJ for our wedding was a HUGE dissapointment. I went to a friend's wedding that had this same DJ company and had cooch as their DJ and he did a great job that we thought we should use the same company but try a different DJ.

First off we put a down deposit really early on one of the top DJ's and was told a month prior to our wedding that he has left the company. I don't think I would have even found out if I didn't contact them about meeting our DJ. That was a dissapointment and we had to scrambe trying to get all of our information to this new DJ. There was very few Dj's to choose from since it was so close to our wedding date and they assigned one to us that won a "top DJ award" but his apperance looked so unprofessional and embarrassing but we had no choice and decided to go ahead with him since he told us he is very good at his job and would not let us down.

We had music videos played at our wedding and were told we had to bring our own projector and screen so we rented one and had a friend bring it on the day of our wedding. When we arrived we saw that the screen and projector was tiny and had horrible quality picture...he brought his own screen and projector and didn't use the one we paid for to rent!

He told us he was going to do some activity songs but the only activity he did was the game before the dances where guests had to run and get something. That was a great party starter but wish there was more to keep the party alive without me and my husband being on the dance floor the whole time.

At the end of the night on the very last song, the speakers blew and made awful loud noises, that was VERY embarrassing.....good thing he didn't get his tip until after that!

Would not reccomend Andrew Brown as your DJ!

The DJ at my wedding was absolutely awful! He was incredibly unprofessional! When songs would be requested (which there were only a few) he would wait a long time to play them. He seemed to just be on his own schedule that evening.

When the dance was in full swing, he and another employee were DIRTY DANCING WITH A FEW OF MY GUESTS! I was absolutely appalled!

Also, my maid-of-honor made a photo montage of pictures of my husband and I. When it came time to play it, it wouldn't work. So instead of trying fix it, he just said sorry it wont work. We can't play it. After I told him I had a couple different people wanted to look at it to see if they could get it to work he finally started to look at the problem. Another guy who works for Complete Music (the other guy who was dirty dancing) said he couldn't look at the actual projector because he would have to move three tables to get the ladder in there. After we insisted that they look at the projector, he finally got the ladder out. It turned out he only had to move ONE table about six inches. Once they got the ladder out the projector was QUICKLY fixed!

I would have been incredibly disappointed if they could not play the video, and it was very frustrating that their first reaction was to say that we were basically "out of luck"

After the wedding my mom called the owner of the company to discuss these items, along with some others. The owner of the company was very apologetic, and was quick to take care of the situation.

To make up for our awful experience, he offered us complimentary event, which we will be using soon. After that I will get back on here and revise my review as appropriate.

I met the guys at a bridal show and thought they were wonderful. I had a friend wh owas a Dj who offered his services for a much better price. I was so impressed by CM that I booked them instead. What a nightmare. The day before my wedding I was notified that they didn't have my wedding song and I would have to bring a copy. I was a little busy that day! The DJ I had booked from day 1 ended up not being able to be at mine to I was "stuck" with a differernt DJ. He started off by not saying our last name right and it's one a 3 year old could say. He started things when my husband was outside talking to people, such as ouir slideshow! He didn't play the right song for the garter toss and so on. It was a disaster. Then dealing with them afterword was just as bad. they present themselves well but it was awful!

The week of my wedding we spent an hour on the phone disscussing what music we wanted and when... My wedding day came and we had one of the managers as our DJ and he was training anther DJ, no big deal. When it came time to dance we went over and talked to him and he only had one song that we asked for. Luckly one of my friends ran around and found guest who had cds in there car with the songs that we needed. Also through out the night he repeated songs, some songs skipped, ans he left early. He said that his girlfriends water broke and he had to leave. We paid him that night and then cancelled the check the next day. When They called about the cancelled check my husband said that in the contract it stated money back... he then told them that he was at work and to call him later to talk about it. They never called back, so we got the service for $100. It was worth a hundred dollars, no more

These people were terrible. The DJ did not have any of the music that we requested. I did not know this until the night of the wedding. She was rude to the guests and her music selection was poor. I had asked her to play certain music at certain times, and did not do that. Also, I had requested a different DJ, and was told she would be at the wedding. Came wedding day and she was not to be found. The DJ did not look professional. She looked like she threw her hair up and came to the wedding straight out of bed.
