Damen was awesome! He had everyone on the dance floor all night. My guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Damen took the worry out of everything and ran my reception. He knew when the photographer was leaving and made sure everything had a flow. Nothing felt too rushed. I would highly recommend Complete Music.

My husband and I are so glad we booked both our video and DJ through Complete Music and Video. We attended several bridal shows and were honestly intimidated by the energy and enthusiasm displayed by Complete Music and Video at the booth. As a result, we had eliminated them from our list because we had a very diverse group of guests. After consulting with our photographer and other vendors, the kept recommending Complete Music and Video and said that their DJ's have a range of personalities from outgoing (like the ones we saw at the bridal shows), to calm and soft spoken. We chose a DJ with a moderate personality (calm at the beginning of the evening and more outgoing towards the end of the night) and it fit our event perfectly!
Because we booked both DJ and Videography through them, they provided a budget friendly discount for us. We have yet to receive our wedding video, but I am positive it will be fantastic.

We found out about Complete Music through our wedding coordinator. Our DJ's name was Ted. He was wonderful. Very fun, played the right songs at the right time. It was obvious that he loves his job!

I worked with Ted from Complete Music for my DJ services for my wedding. At our inital meeting at a restaurant, he was trying to change what I wanted to what he 'usually' does. I am not a traditional person so I didn't want things done the traditional way. After our initial meeting he left with us having to pay for his drink he ordered. I was nervous about him from that point on my my husband told me to relax and he would do fine. Two days before the wedding I finally get the outline of the reception. He then tells me that he is not sure whether or not he can play the burned CD's I gave him for our first dance and entrance music. He finally agrees to go try out the CD's in the equipment to make sure they would work. During the reception it felt like he was rushing us through things and I dind't get to enjoy anything. Overall he did an ok job, but I would not recommend him.
We also had Complete Music and Video do our videography. Our videographer was fantastic and I couldn't have asked for more. We have not received the edited copy yet so I can't say anything about the quality, but the service and professionalism we received was outstanding.

Overall, good experience but nothing wonderful. Our DJ didn't have very good suggestions for entrance songs (one suggestion was the Chiefs themesong.) He also announced the wrong first dance song and played a couples dance when we had asked him not to. None of our guests noticed anything odd, but it wasn't fabulous.
The video we got was great, but it came in very late. (About a month later than they had told us.) If I had to do it again, I would still use them though. The videographer was great and we love having it all captured on DVD!

As a wedding photographer I know how important the DJ is to the wedding. That is why I made sure I booked Scott from Complete Music. I have seen him at several weddings I have photographed and he does an amazing job. It was great to work with a vendor I knew and highly recommend to my clients. I was incredibly pleased with his work that day. He did a great job. He also made the planning process very smooth and easy.

I would highly recommend Complete Music! They were very easy to work with and really let us run the show how we wanted. We had a great DJ that listened and made sure we had a great evening. His transitioning between events for the night was GREAT. We had a problem with the microphone during the toast, but that's the only thing that went wrong!

Our DJ was AJ Johnson from Complete Music... and he was AMAZING!!! We had soooo many people at the wedding tell us that our wedding was the funnest thay had ever attended... largely due to our awesome entertainment!!! He was receptive to our requests... courteous with our guests... and flexible when things got a bit off schedule. We were so glad that we went with AJ... He made our wedding reception a memorable event!!!
I highly recommend this guy if you want your wedding to be a true party!!!!

Chris O. He is the BEST DJ!!!! He was the DJ for one of my best friend's wedding in 2006 and is doing another one of my best friend's wedding in Oct 09.
Everybody at our reception said it was the best wedding they had ever been to-I credit the reception to Chris O and his wonderful song choices!!
Chris met us the week before our wedding to talk about how we wanted our reception to go-and he listened to everything we wanted and made it even better!
Chris has a passion for what he does, which you hear everytime he talks. He is a true professional and makes everything run smooth when he is running the show!

This DJ service came recommended to us by a friend who had used them at their wedding, but we had an absolutely HORRIFIC experience with them - so bad that COMPLETE MUSIC is giving us a partial refund. But honestly, even a full refund would not make up for the mess of music that they provided.
In our contract, COMPLETE MUSIC says that they have a backup system on-site, a MUST for any wedding should something go wrong. Well, the speakers went out about 15 minutes into the dancing, and they DID NOT have a backup system on site. The speakers cut in and out for about 1 hour before completely dying - and then completely silent for 10 minutes. The DJ had to call someone from their main office to bring a new system. Really killed the mood to say the least.
Also, the DJ that we used did not follow the long questionaire that clients are asked to fill out about what type of music to play/not to play and song choice. It was horrendous. He played explicit songs that were on our no-list, asked us to make a CD of the songs we requested that he didn't have (and then didn't even play that CD!), and just pretty much sucked it up. The kicker was that for the final song of the night, he played a Country song - a genre of music that was on our no-list since we don't listen to country music. I had to leave the dance floor or conversations with guests 4 times to ask the DJ what was going on with the speakers or to stop playing an explicit song (that we had previously outruled on our preference list).
The owner did give us a partial discount, but was pretty condescending on the phone. We would have done better taking the money we used for the DJ, buying a sound system, and then using our ipod for the playlist.
Some people have had an okay experience with COMPLETE MUSIC, but this was horrendous - from the DJ personality, not following our preferences, the system going out, not have a backup system on site...My recommendation is to stay far far away from COMPLETE MUSIC if you would like to enjoy your reception.

Everything went great. The pre planning with the DJ was very helpful. Our dj keep guest out on the floor the whole night and did a mix of music. He was very flexible to our requests. I would recommend this company and our DJ Earl to anyone. We went with their basic package and it was enough for our guest everyone was exhausted by the end.

Awesome! Chris and Wade worked with us to make our wedding a total hit. Everything went perfect. Chris was entertaining and professional and saved the day by helping us entertain the numerous children at our wedding! Everyone had such a great time. I highly recommend their services.
