I actually chose not to use Community Bakery due to the rudeness of the employees when I came in to book the cakes. We had come in the week before for a tasting and to choose the cake we were looking for and that went ok. When I returned to make a down payment and place the order, the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and spoke down to me. When I asked to speak to someone concerning a wedding cake they asked if I had an appointment. I said no and before I could get the rest out of my mouth that I had already been through that process they cut me short and told me I needed an appointment. My money can go to someone who appreciates and respects their customers, so I chose Covered in Cake in Cabot and was greatly pleased with my service and cakes and it ended up saving me almost $100 by going elsewhere!

I ordered a very unique cake...the icing was Tiffany Blue and it was made to resemble a Tiffany Box. My only regret is that they do NOT OFFER fondant icing...which I really preferred for this cake, cosmetically. But the cake was really yummy. My groom's cake was a carrot cake decorated with comedy/tragedy masks (we had the reception in a theater downtown), and the guests devoured it in a matter of minutes...I didn't even get a piece. I HEARD it was delicious, though.
I appreciated the detail that Regina (who helped us) paid to the cake. She had me bring in my cake topper to weigh it to make sure the cake was properly supported to hold it.
I appreciated their pricing structure...this was by FAR the best price in town that I found in my quest for an economical yet tasty cake.

The cake was Wonderful and tast great. I loved that they had many different styles to choose from.They even did some custom design work on the cake.
