So glad we worked with CPC!

We loved working with Command Performance Catering! Jesus was able to provide us with even more menu options than we originally thought came with our wedding package, so we were able to create the perfect menu. They were very accommodating with our requests and helpful in deciding on certain details such as chairs, napkins, glasses, seating chart, etc. The staff the day of the wedding were super professional and kind towards our guests. We kept getting complimented on how smoothly everything was being ran. Our food ended up being even better than we expected and our guests really enjoyed it as well! The CPC bartenders were also really great and we loved our signature drinks. We couldn't recommend working with them enough!

Amazing , we love using them got our events

Fairy Tale Wedding

We cannot say enough nice things about our experience with Command Performance Catering and Brick & Brass bar services! Their communication, dependability, and attention to detail truly made our wedding spectacular. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding caterer. We had tons of guests tell us how much they loved the food and drinks, and Pablo went above and beyond to make the process simple and exactly what we wanted, like personalizing our drinks with flowers.

Wonderful!

Command Performance Catering was a required venue at Camarillo Ranch, but we are so happy that it was! The food was all amazing and our guests all raved about it! There were so many options to choose from! Manuel was very helpful and accommodating to our requests, specifically with the bar. We appreciate the delicious food, great service and support to make all of our visions come together!! Thank you!!

Yummy Food

Command is the exclusive caterer with Eden Gardens, but we were absolutely thrilled with the quality of the food. The braised short rib, jalapeno mac n' cheese, and ahi tuna tacos are by far crowd favorites. There was never a line for the buffet either.

We had a personal assistant making sure we had the drinks/food we wanted. She was absolutely amazing!

The drinks were great and there was never a line at the bar with 3 bartenders and ~150 people.

Ramiro and Team are the Best!

We couldn’t have been more impressed with Ramiro and the entire team at Command Performance Catering for our October 5, 2024 wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch! As both the bride and a wedding planner with Jamison + Tania Events, food was a top priority for us, and they delivered beyond expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests about the incredible flavors, presentation, and variety.

Working with Command Performance Catering is a piece of cake!

Keith and the team at Command Performance Catering were so great to work with! We have many allergies in our family and they were able to work with us and provide delicious food that all of our guest could enjoy without worry. The food was so good, we were so happy we had time to sit down and eat our entire dinner! The catering staff were very kind and very professional.

compliments to the chef

The food was so yummy. From the appetizers to the drinks to the entrées, everything was so good and their bread selection was to die for!. we got so many compliments from our guest on how good the food was. They have a wide range of variety which made it very hard for us to pick the food for our wedding. The attention to detail was everything. it was just a perfect day.

The best wedding food you'll ever have

We were lucky that our venue has an exclusive partnership with CPC, but honestly we would have chosen them ourselves. During the lead-up to the wedding, the team members were super communicative with my husband and me, and made us feel more at ease.

When I say that the food is phenomenal, that would be an understatement. We are STILL getting comments about the food and how great it was. Don't sleep on the grilled cheese with tomato soup shots!!!

Very helpful in planning our receptions and serves delicious meals.

Command Performance Catering provided the catering services at Eden Gardens. Jesus, the sales and event manager, was very responsive by email and phone, and patiently took the time to answer our questions about the menu selection and alcohol packages. We frequently corresponded about menu changes and diet accommodations, the guest seating arrangement, and furniture rentals for our cocktail hour and reception. Jesus adjusted to these multiple changes in the meals and rentals in a timely manner in the months leading up to our wedding. The h'orderves and buffet meal received plenty of compliments from our guests, and the wait staff was very attentive to the guests’ needs.

Wonderful Service and Delicious Food

Command Performance catered our daughter's recent wedding at Walnut Grove in Moorpark. They were professional from start to finish in planning the food and drinks for the wedding. The food was delicious at the tasting and was just as wonderful at the wedding receiving many compliments from all of our guests. The bartenders, wait staff and behind the scenes staff were professional, helpful and accommodating for all our special needs. We had complete confidence throughout the process and the event was a huge success! We would highly recommend them to anyone needing catering for an event.

The Perfect Meal

We got married at Maravilla Gardens and Command Performance is the exclusive caterer there. They went so far above and beyond for our meals. We went with a served plated meal for our guests and all of the Filet Mignons were cooked perfectly, the Chicken Marsala was such a huge hit with our guests that some were sharing with their sweethearts, and they even created a custom Vegetarian meal that was so good, I actually would have loved seconds lol

I cannot recommend them enough. Every single dish was perfect, and if you're a foodie... well prepare to be incredibly happy!

Astounding Catering!

We originally hired Command Catering back in the before-times when our wedding was slated for 2020. Well, once the pandemic made it clear we weren't going to get married for another year, Command Catering went above and beyond and were extremely flexible and still delivered an amazing dinner for our wedding once the day finally came. Joe helped us pick out delicious meals that catered to our guest's diverse flavor palettes and dietary preferences. He was also very helpful working around our budget and maximizing every dollar we spent. If we were to do it all over again, we would go with Joe and Command Catering again as they truly helped make our dream wedding possible.

Exceptional Quality and Service

My husband and I got married on 9/4/21 at Camarillo Ranch. Command Performance was the venue's preferred vendor for catering, and we could not be happier with this vendor! We worked with Manuel and he was so wonderful! He helped us every step of the way, answered every question, and was very organized and friendly. As a vegetarian, I know what it's like to have limited options, but Command Performance caters to every diet and has a huge selection to choose from including appetizers, meals, and desserts! And the food and desserts were amazing! Usually wedding food is mediocre at best, but the food was so so good! It's been month since our wedding and we are still receiving raving reviews about the food at our wedding! Command definitely did not disappoint!

The most amazing food!

Absolutely amazing food service! So many people at our wedding said that before they even sat down for dinner, they would have been completely happy just getting full on the appetizers. We got the most compliments on the Marsala Mushroom Fettuccini, it was amazing! Their selection of vegan options was very impressive and they were extremely compensating. Bree and her team were very patient and kind with all of our requests and all of the guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff. They made it possible for us to have an awesome, magical evening surrounded by friends and family. Thank you Command Performance!

Worry-Free Top-Notch Catering

My daughter, the bride, fell in love with Quail Ranch in Simi Valley, and what an unexpected bonus that Command Performance is their exclusive caterer! It’s not a cliché that the most difficult part of working with Command Performance was choosing which of their vast array of delicious hors d’oeuvres and menu options to serve at the reception! So many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. The staff was also exceptional, very professional and friendly. The bartender, John, was particularly excellent, engaging the guests, and skillfully filling orders with little or no waiting time. Command Performance provided the tables and chairs, linens, table settings and glassware, and also had an option for outdoor heater rental which we were able to request within just days of the event once the forecast evening temperature became clear. If Command Performance is an option for your venue, I highly recommend them.

Best Caterer Ever!

Working with Justin and Breeanna was amazing! They had great communication and were very helpful whenever we had questions. We basically planned our entire wedding in a month and a half and they made it so easy and were very understanding of the situation. My husband and I were so pleased with the service and the AMAZING food they had made for our wedding. It wasn’t typical wedding food (which is not always good) but they were definitely top notch. Our guests loved the food and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Words cannot describe the appreciation we have for them and everything they did for us.

Stop your searching and just hire Command Performance - seriously! They consistently deliver food and service of the highest quality/caliber. They have a local reputation for the the best and it's well-deserved. Every one of our guests raved about the food, and for good reason -- it was amazing!! Exceed Expectations

My husband and I talked with over 10 caterers before hiring Command Performance. Breeanna Holliday is sooo nice and helpful. Not only is she very communicative but she is flexible in helping you achieve the menu of your dreams. Stop looking for a caterer and hire them. You don’t need to look any further. Even 7 weeks later, our guests have not stopped gushing about how amazing the food was. It was beyond our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Food is so important at a wedding and they killed it. Hire them. We would do it a million times over. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me.

Wonderful Experience

Our wedding on 8/17/19 we had Command Performance Catering and they were exceptional from Robert to the servers and bar staff. We could not have had better! The food was exceptional and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food! I hear all the time of how amazing the food was. Robert was very helpful prior to the wedding helping us set up our food choices and table set up. No doubt, they were the Best choice! Way to go!!!

Amazing Experience

Command promises that the quality of their food at their tastings will be same as at the wedding, and they completely delivered on that promise. Manny, Tina and their team were very professional and helped make planning our cocktail hour and reception easy. Not only was all the food amazing, but the servers were excellent! Very friendly and extremely attentive. We would definitely look into booking Command Performance again for other events.

Delicious & reliable caterer!

After receiving a recommendation from our wedding venue, we opted to use Command to handle our catering for the big day. If you've ever been to a wedding, you know the food is often a critical piece to the overall puzzle! We worked with Joe from the start, and after explaining what we wanted to do and how much we were looking to spend, he was quick to deliver several options that checked all the boxes. Once we narrowed down our options, we came in for a tasting (which he was present for) and he walked us through every dish and listened to our likes and dislikes. Come wedding day, the food was just as tasty as it was during our sampling day (hard to do for nearly 200 people!) and the staff was extremely clean, professional and pleasant to work with! Not once did we have to worry about our food, and thanks to Joe and his staff, our guests experienced a wedding they still talk about today (6 months later!). Given the option to go back and do it all over again, I would use Command every time - thank you!!

Delicious!

They were professional, reliable and the food was so delicious! Our venue was changed 24 hours prior to our wedding because of the fires in the Venture County area and they were so helpful and professional to make our special day happen. Even with the extra stress, they were on time, the staff was excellent, food was extra tasty & quick to come out for our guests to enjoy. Amazing Food!

Pablo and Justin are so incredibly professional, patient, and courteous. I truly wish I could rate them, and their absolutely perfect service, higher! We were so lucky to have worked with them and their amazing crew. Our wedding food was not only fantastic and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS, but EXACTLY what we wanted. Justin and Pablo get back to you in a timely manner and facilitate with any curveballs the day (or days leading up to the big day) throw at you. We are so, so, so happy to have had them as our caterers! They also worked really well with our family and could not have been more kind or energetic (especially since Pablo was with us for 6 hours+). Pablo was also completely understanding of all of our concerns and food choices. Their equipment was state of the art and our food that day was timeless and impeccable. 10/10+ would recommend to anyone! OUR GUESTS COULD NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS!

Absolutely incredible food, service and bartenders! Our guests could not stop raving about the food and dessert! The service for the bride & groom is exceptional, there is a dedicated server to just the two of you, which makes the entire night incredible because they make sure you eat and drink! They thought of every last detail to ensure that your event went smoothly and nothing was forgotten! The entire staff were very professional and the presentation of the food is Instagram worthy! We were beyond happy with working with Command Catering and would highly recommend for any event!

I cannot say enough great things about this caterer! Honestly, we received so many compliments about the food served for our wedding!! Dylan was amazing and professional and kept in touch with me throughout the wedding process. He was easy going but very detailed and our table setting and service was perfect. We held our wedding at Maravilla Gardens and their exclusive caterer is Command Performance Catering. We're so grateful for this fact. Command Performance is pretty much the perfect caterer. Robert was so easy to work with to build out our menu with items that all work perfectly together. He also helped come up with signature cocktails and even gave good suggestions on how much alcohol we should purchase to ensure the bar remained stocked throughout the night. The day of our wedding, everybody raved about how great the food tasted, from the appetizers during our cocktail hour to the main course dishes. Sidenote: their jalapeno mac n cheese was a HUGE hit. Non-food related, the servers and barstaff were all very professional and easy to work with. You won't regret having them cater your event.

The food was delicious and plentiful, and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! Dylan at Command Performance Catering worked with me on our menu to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. They included a vegan option for some of our friends who are vegan and swapped out a flour tortilla for corn in an appetizer because my mom is gluten intolerant.

We recently had our wedding at Maravilla Gardens and had the pleasure of working with Robert. MVG and Robert made the whole process of picking out our menu a breeze; I actually think it might have been the easiest part of the whole planning process. Earlier in the year Maravilla Gardens hosted a showcase where we were able to try a lot of the food that CPC serves. We definitely picked out a few things that day to add to our menu. Robert answered any questions we had in a prompt manner and had great ideas and menu suggestions. He also helped me pick out additional items such as table linen. At the end of our wedding we received so much feed back on the food. Many guests shared that this was some of the best food they have had at a wedding. I also have to mention how wonderful the service was. Anything our guest needed was taken care of so quickly. We could not have asked for a better team, thank you so much CPC!

We got married at Quail Ranch and Command is their caterer — and for good reason! We got SO MANY compliments on the food and coming from our family and friends, that is high praise. Justin was very responsive and personable and gave us good advice on what foods would be good together, etc. I especially appreciated that they had a few servers waiting for the wedding party after the ceremony so we could have a drink and munch on appetizers between pictures! All of the linens, glassware, and dishware are pretty and clean and the buffet ran quickly and efficiently. Justin was there the whole time to oversee everything and all of the servers, bartenders, and cooks were friendly and professional.

Highly recommend this caterer!

Command Performance Catering did the catering for our wedding at Hartley Botanica. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed working with Justin. I wanted something different and they provided us with beautiful wooden tables that just made our reception space. They have a wide selection of linens and placed a small spring in the napkins which complemented our centerpieces beautifully. I highly recommend them! I really hope I can attend another event where they cater someday!

I used Command Performance for my appetizers, dinner, desserts and late night snacks and it was all fantastic. We wanted a family style Italian meal and they were able to deliver amazing food that all the guests enjoyed. I worked with Dylan and he was super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of he was there to ensure everything went smoothly. My only regret is that I didn't eat more at the reception!

We used Command Performance for our wedding October 15th 2017 at the Walnut Grove. Joe was really great with communication. I was planning my wedding from Utah so we did all communication by phone and email. He sent photos of place settings and did everything to make everything so easy. We upgraded all our flatware and place settings to gold to give it a fancier touch. The food was phenomenal and the staff is very professional. The bartender was very nice and made our signature cocktails great. They are expensive but worth every penny. I’d book them allover again given the chance!

We had CPC cater our wedding at Maravilla Gardens. We worked with Rob in the planning and you made everything so easy. The chefs help you pick out the perfect menu, options that you love and that they know will go well together (from their very creditable professional experience). They kept the groom and I fed while we had to take our countless photos too! Our guests loved the food! From the feedback I got, the grilled cheese and tomato soup was everyones favorite at cocktail hour and the rissota cakes were a hit at dinner.

Command Performance is hands down the best of the best! They catered our wedding at the end of October at Eden Gardens in Moorpark, and we could not have asked for a better experience with them. My husband and I were planning our wedding while I was out of the country for most of the year, and Melanie was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process; she made everything very easy for us to plan. The most challenging part of the whole process was trying to decide which hors d'oeuvres and dinner selections to choose, because everything was SO delicious!

The food at our wedding was incredible! Initially, I was a little hesitant to select filet mignon as an entree option because I wasn't sure if it would turn out as well for 170 people as it did for our tasting, but I was extremely happy we went with it! We had SO many of our guests raving about the food all night long (and for weeks afterwards)! Many said that it was not only the best meal they have ever had at a wedding, but some even said that it was one of the best meals they had ever had, period!

In addition to the food, the service from Command Performance was amazing! We were so happy with the staff that worked at our wedding; they were all extremely helpful, polite, accommodating and friendly.

I would highly recommend CP if you are looking for a caterer. I would definitely also request to work with Melanie; she will work with you to make sure you are very happy with everything (even if you have a million requests)! She also does more than just manage the catering; she's fully involved in most of the planning. She met with us and a member of the band that we hired to go over spacing and electrical options at the venue, she called to discuss potential contingency plans if it were to rain (which thankfully, it didn't!), she arranged a bunch of rentals for us - she was involved in all of it!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Command Performance!

Where to even start? The BEST company to work with on your wedding day. Melanie was very quick to respond to emails, phone calls, questions, etc. no matter how many times I contacted her. She worked with us on multiple things to accommodate our needs. When the big day finally came, everything was set up beautifully! Better than I imagined. The staff was consistent with checking up on us and making sure us and our guests had everything we needed the entire time. Most importantly however, the food was to die for. I had multiple guests approach me and tell me that they have NEVER had wedding food taste as amazing as ours did. We got the tri tip, chicken roulade, jalapeño Mac n cheese (yum!), corn on the cob, and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was hot and extremely fresh. Our big day couldn't have been more perfect and the CPC staff couldn't be more on top on things. We reccomend this company to everyone and if you don't hire them, you truly are missing out!

What an incredible catering company! We worked with Melanie throughout the process of picking table settings, linens and our menu. We loved her! She was great to work with.
For budget reasons we decided to do a buffet rather than a plated meal and we were a little worried that the buffet would be crowded and not set up nicely. But, we were very happy with how amazing everything turned out and how well they had it organized to where there wasn’t any over crowding. And ALL of the food was so delicious!
We had many people compliment how incredible the food was. Our wedding was two months ago and people are still talking about the food!
Also, the servers and staff were very nice and great to work with.
Highly recommend Command Performance!

If you are considering booking Command Performance for your catering, seriously stop looking and DO IT. You will not be disappointed. I was very skeptical of wedding caterers in general, because we all hear the stories about bad wedding food, but I decided to trust the reviews by other brides and grooms and I'm so glad I did. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding! We had a buffet dinner, and the food was kept fresh the entire way through. They have an extensive menu to choose from, and I don't think you could go wrong. The big hits on our menu were the mini shrimp tacos, herbed salmon, roasted veggies, and macaroni and cheese balls. They were also very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions within our family - Trevor was able to make a vegan plate just for my Dad. The service was outstanding - all of the servers were very friendly and continually checked up on us and our guests. If we could do it all over, we would choose them again in a second.

Excellent caterer!! We were so happy to have worked with Robert at CPC for our wedding! Robert was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and most important, the food was fantastic!! Robert was responsive and quick to answer any questions and help in any way we needed. He was spot on with his recommendations and the food was amazing! We chose to do a buffet style and were so happy we did! We recommend the beef short ribs, pesto chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese! We had our wedding at Eden Gardens, with Command Performance as our caterer. I was sooooooo nervous about our menu for our wedding! I second guessed myself for a year, as we were doing the buffet rather than a plated meal. I didn't want to have boring wedding chicken, but knew it was the safest choice. I also originally wasn't going to do a vegetarian option. In the end, and shockingly for not that much more, we decided on (without ever tasting it!) the- Mango/Lime Chicken, Zinfandel Braised Short Ribs, Green Beans, Baby Caprese Salad, Parmesan Risotto Cakes, and the Jalapeño Mac-n-Cheese. We did the Bruschetta & Tapenade Bar for appetizers, and brought in our on alcohol for full bar. There is not a single thing I would have changed or done differently. Our guests are still talking about the food! We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The servers & staff were great as well. I also appreciate that the pricing was pretty straight forward, no hidden charges like some of the other vendors we had researched. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely the best tasting food I have had at any wedding. Even our photographer commented on how amazingly tasty this caterers food was! EVERYBODY at the wedding commented over and over again about how delicious the food was! We did the chuck wagon bbq. Super delicious. Served perfectly hot. Plenty for everyone. Joe even made sure we had plates to eat! They even gave us money back at the end because we overpaid! Honest and great company.

Simply Incredible!

You know you've picked the right caterer when the underlying theme to the comments people make at your wedding is, "the food is incredible!"

From the get-go... they were just a pleasure to work with. We dealt with Joe, but the whole team/staff were a delight. We had our initial tasting with them a few months before the wedding and it was just a treat. The food is of the highest quality for the amount of production they must deal with. They also have options that will accommodate all dietary restrictions and preferences.

Most importantly, they were extremely flexible. We made menu changes as late as 7 weeks before the wedding and they had no problems what-so-ever. They were more than professional and on the day of the wedding the finished product was simply immaculate. Joe was on site for the entire event and it went off without any issues. They even accommodated my (the groom's) wedding dinner to ensure that I got regular potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes everyone else got (small thing, but just huge amount of style points).

We also employed their bar-tenders and they were also awesome. I can say that one of my concerns was people being over-served, but the gals behind the bar were very quick to adjust pour, etc to ensure everyone was having just the perfect amount of fun.

I would hire these guys for any catering job I had... no questions!

It goes without saying that Command Performance is the best. They catered our July wedding at Hartley Botanica with Trevor. Trevor and his staff were incredible. They made sure my husband and I had a plate of food for the reception and even carried out appetizers and drinks for our family to have during pictures at cocktail hour. Trevor and his staff was so attentive, always making sure my husband and I had drinks and that our guests were taken care of. We went with the buffet option and our guests are still raving about the food.

Our guests are still talking about our food selections. We chose the buffet style, and I don't think expectations were high because of it. The meeting we had to choose our food was so easy, and Melanie was so agreeable and offered valuable input. We had passed appetizers during our cocktail reception, which the guests thought were delicious, and they were BLOWN AWAY at how delicious and savory the buffet food was! Jalepeno mac and cheese is still the talk of the evening! This vendor was contracted through our venue, which made the guesswork easy for us, and the quality was more than we could have hoped for. Having great food at our wedding was a top priority for us – we’re big “foodies” and couldn’t imagine serving our guests the standard wedding menu.

I have been fortunate to have previously worked with the CPC team in my previous job – they have always served great food and have been exceptional partners. The service they provided to us for our wedding exceeded our expectations! Danny Margolis, Robert Yamada, and Chef Maya were so wonderful during the whole process. If we had a question, they responded quickly. If we had an issue, they had the solution. Plus, they worked within our budget without sacrificing service or quality. Robert even made sure that cocktails were ready for us and our wedding party after the ceremony, and that my husband and I had a plate of the appetizers.

The whole evening went smoothly, and our guests raved about the food during and after the wedding. We have nothing but great things to say about Command Performance. Thank you for helping make our wedding so memorable!

Everyone says you don't have time to eat at your own wedding, but if Command Performance is your caterer, you will make time--even if it means skipping your first dance. Their food is that good.

CPC catered our August 2015 wedding at Walnut Grove, with Joe Thies serving as our extraordinary catering manager. Joe's laid back demeanor was a breath of fresh air during the insanity of wedding planning, and his recommendations (from menu pairings to the unquestionable superiority of Luxardo cherries for a good old fashioned) were invaluable. From day one, Joe was very organized and accommodating (serving Persian tea, arranging a soy-free vegan meal, working with our fluctuating guest count, etc.), and I will forever appreciate his patient responses to our tedious questions about cake forks and glassware.

On the day of, we were blown away not only by the incredible food, but also by the outstanding service. The waitstaff was friendly and professional, the bartenders were efficient and nailed our signature cocktails, and the very sweet, attentive Jessa met us with drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the end of the aisle.

Speaking of hors d'oeuvres . . . we had the shrunken shrimp tacos, bacon-wrapped goat cheese dates, and tomato soup & grilled cheese shots, along with a fresh fruit display (at my mother-in-law's request). For dinner, we had BBQ short ribs, vintners chicken, mashed yukon gold potatoes, white cheddar jalapeño macaroni & cheese, haricots verts, farmers market salad, and carrot soufflé. We made time to try all of it, and it was all exceptional. (Everyone kept telling us it was the best wedding food ever . . . and keeps telling us, even months later.)

I only wish that CPC would open a restaurant so we could eat there every day.

Command Performance was awesome. We met with Trevor to plan out the table decor and menu. We heard from so many of our guests that the food was incredible. Trevor's team made sure to bring appetizers and drinks to the wedding party while we took pictures after the ceremony. The bartenders were BUSY, but so helpful. The reception was so beautiful and they did an awesome job at helping to clean up and pack cars with gifts and items after the night was over. I would highly recommend Command Performance and Trevor. When our caterer dropped us to open a restaurant 3 months before our wedding, I was in a bit of a panic. Especially since I live 3000 miles from Santa Barbara, and was not going to be able to make it out to test food before our wedding. My venue suggested we call Command Performance, and I'm so glad we did. Annette helped us to create an amazing menu that fit perfectly with our Hemingway themed wedding- including a dessert table with desserts inspired by our travels. The meal was amazing- legitimately some of the best short ribs I've ever had- everything else was great too! Service was quick and efficient, and Command Performance had the great idea to bring us appetizers while we were taking our photos pre-reception (thank you for that! I needed the food!). I HIGHLY recommend Command Performance- they were nothing but a pleasure to work with.

Working with Joe Theis from Command Performance was such a pleasant experience. He's a personable, easy-going guy and responds quickly to emails. Joe and his team work tirelessly for you before and during your event, and their food is absolutely delicious. Seriously, if they had a restaurant, we would eat at it often!

We got married at Walnut Grove in Moorpark, and Joe helped us select a buffet menu, which all our guests raved about (special shout out for the tomato soup & grilled cheese shots and the Ahi tuna with wasabi hummus for hors d'oeuvres, and the slow roasted salmon for the buffet). His bartenders made our signature cocktails perfectly! Joe and his team are so organized and on top of it; they lit candles, prepared our dessert bar, and set up extra heaters as we needed them. Our wedding was truly magical, and we credit excellent vendors like Command Performance for that!

Such a great experience! The coordinator Abby Leone was helpful and professional. She even set up a personal taste testing for us which was out of this world! They have such a large selection of amazing food it was so hard to choose from. On the day of our wedding all of our guests were amazed at the quality of their food. It was cooked perfectly and served hot. The servers were all positive and helpful throughout the night. Honestly I think the food was one of the highlights of the night !

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! We had guests go back for seconds! Everything was delicious. Guests were immediately coming up to us and talking about the yummy food from the appetizers, to the main course, and dessert! Oh yes, dessert. We had pie! Joe recommended a delicious pie place and brought the most amazing pies for us to enjoy. We were really busy with guests but made sure to enjoy some food every chance we had. If you are able to use them, please do. The service was beyond incredible. Everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating. We felt so spoiled. All of us, even our guests. We worked with Robert of Command Performance for our wedding at Maravilla Gardens. He was so easy to work with and get a long with. He answered all of our questions quickly, and make great and helpful suggestions. He was open and adaptable to any and all of our crazy ideas - like my husband making his own kegs of home brew and needing different attachments for the jockey box.
The staff at our wedding was so friendly and helpful - the day went so smoothly.
People still tell me today how good the food was at our wedding - not just good wedding food, but good overall food.

Trevor and his staff did an amazing job at our wedding. Of course the food was fantastic, but his staff was professional, courteous and always there offering my wife and I food and drinks throughout the night so we didn't have to worry about anything. The presentation of the tables and buffet table was gorgeous. Couldn't have asked for better food and service. Trevor was very accommodating with any request and even checked in to see if we had everything we needed the day of the wedding. All our guests commented on how good the food was which was great to hear since that's the most common complaint about weddings. Can't go wrong with Command Performance!

We had Command Performance cater our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch on May 31, 2014 and couldn’t have been happier! We chose to do our wedding vegan, and Chef Maya created the most amazing menu for us. All of the guests loved the food…meat-eaters and vegans alike! Danny worked with us in the planning stages, and at the event with his wonderful staff. We were so impressed with their professional service and their personal attention to us, the bride and groom. From the menu planning, to the tasting, to the event…they were a pleasure to work with, and made our special day unforgettable.

We got married at Eden Gardens, where Command is the caterer. We first were able to taste Commands food at the Eden Gardens showcase. The food was so good...we brought my parents and my mother in law with us and everyone loved the food (my husbands favorite was the jalapeno mac n cheese!) the following night we went to a friends wedding...which was also catered my command. There we were able to try additional food that was not at the showcase and we LOVED all of it. Abby is super sweet, wonderful and VERY helpful. From the day we signed the contract to the day of the wedding she was there to help us with any questions we had. We have received numerous compliments on how delicious the food was...and how much everyone loved it! Abby also referred us to Carrera's Bakery (in Moorpark) for our dessert bar and also to Kris from FXPhotobooth...both which were amazing!

We were blown away by Command Performance. They came very highly recommended to us by our friend Lori. Annette was amazing to work with! She put 110% into making our day as smooth and delicious as possible. The bacon wrapped figs were my favorite appetizer and people are still talking about the jalapeño Mac and cheese. They thought of every detail and it was more than I could have hoped for. Thank you Annette and team!

Joe and his team went above and beyond to help us create a menu, and wedding, of a lifetime. They worked so hard to design a custom California/Southern menu that was out of this world. My guests are still raving about the mini grilled cheese sandwiches, peaches wrapped in prosciutto and the glazed short ribs! It was all SO DELICIOUS. This is not food thats good for a wedding, this is a high end, delicious meal that will help shape the feeling of the whole event. Food that is remembered, a highlight of the night! Joe thought up a slew of wonderful and creative specialty displays such as a pie bar and lemonade stand that took our event to a whole new level. They even were positive and helpful when I through them through a last minuet loop, and took the dining service from family style to plated. Thank you so much for helping create the wedding of my dreams, On Command! I truly can not recommend you service enough!

Danny from Command Performance Caterings made our wedding perfect. The food selections were out of this world and we were so pleased the day of. We continue getting raved reviews about the Jalapeno Mac and Cheese. My favorite was the Butternut Squash Risotto Cakes. Everyone was so happy with the food, including my husband and myself. The staff was also amazing; so nice and accommodating. There are no better caterers around.

All of my flowers were done by the in-house florist at Command Performance Caterings. Rhonda has such a vision for flowers. I left most of the decisions up to her because I knew she would knock it out of the park. And a home run she did! Our bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, centerpieces and everything in between were stunning. If you have Command Performance as your caterer, I would highly suggest getting your flowers done by Rhonda.

My husband and I had our wedding at Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo, we had no choice but to use Command Performance, at first we didn't like not having a choice. However, after meeting with Robert and Tasting some of the food, we decided we would have picked them either way. They are friendly and helpful and we got to actually enjoy our dinner on our wedding day. We are so thankful for them!

The food was delicious and well presented. The service was really good. Many compliments from our guests. We appreciated how there was always someone with appetizers and drinks for the bridal party during cocktail hour during pictures. Plenty of food and drinks. No one went hungry! The set up was beautiful and elegant.

Command handled SO many aspects of our wedding. It's a no-brainer to go with them for a wedding. We were married in September and guests are still talking about our food!! Joe was so incredibly flexible with us and absolutely blew us away the day of our wedding.

P.S. You can't go wrong with the tomato soup/grilled cheese appetizer - I'm still craving one a month later!!

I do not have one negative or constructive criticism to give. Everyone was raving about the food and they even had chicken fingers and macaroni for the kids without me even asking. It was a pleasure and even hilarious working with Trevor from CP. Our venue is difficult since there is no kitchen, no water and no garbage removal but they did it all without me having to figure out a thing. They had basil lemonade before the ceremony ( even let me spike one!) and an amazing coffee bar at night. Also they work closely with A Rental Connection company and I could tell Trevor what I wanted and he relayed it for me so I didn't have to deal with multiple vendors.

Simply the best!

I would like to thank Robert , for doing such an amazing job at our daughter wedding!!!! The food was wonderful our guest kept coming over to us and telling my husband an I how great it was! Some of the best food and service I've experienced...Weeks after our wedding we're still getting compliments on the food. Many guests have said "that was the best food I've had at a wedding". Joe with Command is great to work with and the set up that they did was great too.

Wow. There are just too many good things to say about Command Performance Catering and their staff. Our venue worked exclusively with them, which initially made my husband and I nervous since we are big foodies and wanted to pick our own caterer. We could not be more grateful that CPC was chosen for us!

Robert was fantastic. When we made a special request, he accommodated it with no questions asked. He created off-menu dishes for us, searched and obtained non-standard, fancy cheeses without a complaint, and helped us secure hard-to-find ingredients for our signature cocktails. He never charged us extra for any of our extras, and he did it all with a smile.

The buffet setup was gorgeous...not your standard buffet. The food was outstanding, and guests repeatedly approached us saying it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Plus, there was a ton of it, so people could go back for seconds without a problem. The staff was kind, courteous, and just spoiled us the entire day. I'd jump at any chance to work with them again.

If you don't hire CPC, you are missing out! Bon appetit!

Command blew us away. Not only did everyone rave about the food, we were all so impressed with their amazing service. From the moment the ceremony was over, Command was making sure we all had what we needed. We worked with Danny, who was so attentive to us and our guests. Command Performance works with Walnut Grove, so although I did not have a choice of caterers, I was extremely happy with their work. I met with them and made a few minor adjustments to our menu package, and they were extremely helpful and flexible. The food was delicious and the service was great. They took care of the smallest details, like having my favorite beverage waiting for me in the bride's house after the ceremony, and having plates of food at our sweetheat table so we would be able to eat. I'm happy to say that I had a little bit of everything, and it was all delicious! They were great to work with.

Command Performance is by far the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and the best part is it was my wedding! Joe was our catering/event point person and he is awesome! From the decisions on the menu to the dessert table to the setup of the linens/tables/chairs etc. Joe was involved and gave great suggestions. All of our guests raved about the dinner. We chose buffet style and I highly suggest it. Command Performance serves real food and not the usual food you get at weddings. Joe and his team made sure everyone was fed and always had a cocktail in hand, two components of a great party.

As far as rentals and decor, we made use of many of the items Command has to offer. We had wine barrels for cocktail tables, upgraded chairs for the main tables, a couch seating area the our guests made great use of and more. Joe made sure it all came together beautifully!

I'd highly recommend Command Performance and Joe Thies for any event you are planning!!

Our wedding venue only uses CPC and boy am I glad they do. We worked with Robert and he was the best! He really knows his stuff and put together some awesome food stations for us. Our guests talked about the food all night and how great it was. Robert and CPC definitely went beyond my expectations and our guests did not have to endure typical wedding food. I would for sure use them again for another event. Thank you Robert!!

An absolutely gorgeous venue! All of our guests raved about how beautiful the ceremony was in Walnut Grove itself and the charm of the reception/dining area. We can also understand why Command Performance is their exclusive caterer. They understood exactly how set up and decorate to get the maximum effect from Walnut Grove. The food was outstanding, many of our guest commented that they had had few restaurant meals that even came close.
Everyone was so easy to work with and made the day itself exceptional. If you are looking for a wedding site, there is none better than Walnut Grove.

Command was the only caterer we were able to have at our venue (Walnut Grove) and although it was insanely expensive, the food was amazing. We went into wedding planning wanting to do a BBQ and it just so happened that Command offered that as one of their menu choices. We did chicken, tri tip (soo good), an amazing salad, rolls, beans (only bad item of the day) and the best mac and cheese you have ever tasted in your life. It truly is amazing! Food was fresh, hot, presented beautifully and all together great. Got soo many compliments of "this doesnt taste like wedding food at all!" and "this is the best food we've ever had at a wedding!" and that meant a lot to us. Sure is $$$ though!

CPC was without a doubt the best catering company we could have picked for our wedding of just over 80 guests. The selection of dishes was nearly endless and everything in our buffet felt like it was made individually! Every single item from cocktail hour to dinner was a huge hit with all of our guests and luckily my husband and I got a chance to sit down and a enjoy a bit of our dinner! Fantastic value, incredible staff, and straight up great food!

Before my actual wedding, I got to go to an open house/mock ceremony with my bridesmaids. Command Performance was there doing the catering and I was excited because they were the ones that were going to be catering my wedding. I didn't expect to taste such amazing food! There was so much there and the hardest thing was having to choose what will be served when everything was so good! Everyone raved at my wedding about the food and said that it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. They also made killer mixed drinks! What I really liked was that they were right there giving my husband and I drinks and food while we were getting our photos taken because they know how hungry the bride and groom can get and how important it is for us to eat. We did the buffet and they served us first so we got to eat while everyone else was in line which was smart because we got a head start before people came over to talk to us. Honestly, they helped make everything perfect! The best part was the jalapeño mac and cheese. After the wedding, Trevor put the left over mac and cheese in a bag and let us take it back with us so we can eat it later. My husband and I had the best midnight snack ever at our hotel. I highly recommend Command Performance. They are amazing and the food is so good!!

Robert at Command Performance is the nicest man to work with. He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of wedding catering and is so good about answering questions. Command Performance's food is fantastic...you can't go wrong with any of their choices. We hired command performance catering for our wedding in June and they did an amazing job! We worked very closely with Annette who was accomodating, warm, understanding, and professional. She made the process as simple as possible while giving us exactly what we wanted. Our food was great and the service was a 10! I would recommend this company to any bride in the L.A. area.

Command Performance Catering was required by our venue, but obviously for a good reason. We got to taste some different foods at our venue's open house and it was so good! Their jalapeno macaroni and cheese is amazing! Their carrot souffle is like nothing I've had! Their herb-roasted chicken and tri-tip were tender and juicy! Their appetizers were so good especially the baja chicken quesadilla! As a bride, I didn't get to eat nearly as much as i would have liked to, but I am so glad I got to have Command Performance's food because it was great! We worked with Robert and he was so professional and accommodating and easy to work with. They set up the buffet and dessert tables with risers and mathcing flowers to your wedding colors and flowers. I was so happy with everything and wish I knew the recipes to some of the foods!
