Colleen is a true professional and a lot of fun. She took gorgeous pictures that really captured the memories from our wedding day and put together an album for me that I am proud to show off to anyone who will look at it! I would reccomend her to anyone. She is the best photographer and charges a very resonable rate for her services.

I could go on for ages about how much my husband and I loved Colleen. She was truly the pinnacle of professionalism, and was by far the professional we hired that we liked the best. I heard of Colleen because my best friend had already hired her for her own wedding (June 2005). She originally chose her because her prices were so reasonable comparable to other photographers she looked into. However, upon meeting Colleen, Lisa called me to tell me that I just had to meet her also.
My husband and I hit it off with Colleen right away, before even meeting her in person. She had such a sense of humor, that it was refreshing not to deal with yet another stick-in-the-mud wedding professional. She immediately made me feel at ease and feel comfortable that the photography was one less thing I had to micromanage because she was more than competant. We met Colleen at her home office, where we discussed package options and reviewed examples of her work. We were also able to get a sense of her personality and her ability as a photographer. I left that night feeling a huge sense of relief and gratitude that we'd found someone we clicked so well with. She was also very flexible about making substitutions in our package. My husband comes from a family where his biological mother and father separated and remarried when he was young, so there are a huge number of people to keep track of. Colleen asked us to make a list of important photographs we wanted with specific people that diverged from the norm. She also provided us with a list of photos she takes at every wedding so we wouldn't feel the need to come up with every possible shot we wanted her to take. She was extremely well organized. She also made it a point to keep in touch frequently between the time we booked her and the day of the wedding for multiple reasons: she wanted to make sure I didn't have any questions, and she genuinely cared about how I was handling the pressure of planning the rest of it (there were only 6 months between our engagement and our wedding, and there were 230 guests, so there was a lot to do in a short amount of time). She made me feel more relaxed and offered to help in any way she could, even with things that were out of her forte, such as finding a DJ. (In retrospect, I wish we'd let her choose our DJ - we went with a family friend, and ended up being forced to do the Funky Chicken with a ridiculous hat on. Needless to say, I wasn't nearly as happy with our DJ as I was with our photographer).
On the day of the wedding, she arrived at the pre-determined location about half an hour earlier than she needed to, just to make sure she could find the place ok. This was great, as my parents live in the middle of nowhere. While the ladies were getting ready, she was friendly and had us all at ease and laughing, which is a feat in itself hours before a wedding. She then went to my husband's grandparents' house to shoot the guys. There, her car got stuck in the mud, so like a trooper, she just rode in the limo with the guys to make sure they were at the wedding on time, and they all had a great time.
Throughout the night, she would come up to my husband and I and make sure there were no shots she was missing, or shots that we could come up with on the spot. She was ALWAYS in the right place at the right time, as evidenced by the proof album we received.
We got our proof album back a few weeks (3 or 4?) after the wedding, and were stunned by the number of pictures she took (over 400). In addition, they were all fantastic! It was almost as if she'd read our minds and took all the shots we were looking for. There were even some artistic shots that we didn't even know she was taking that turned out beautifully.
Colleen was more than accomodating, and has a tremendous talent as a photographer. More than that, she's a wonderful person to be around, and has such people skills. She is able to read individualls and fit in with all types of people (i.e. great-grandma to the flower girl to the drunken bridesmaid about to do a strip tease). I highly recommend her work, her professionalism is unmatched, and her company is extremely enjoyable. I plan on using Colleen for all future situations where I'd need a professional photographer.

Colleen was wonderful! She took way more pictures than our package included. Her partner had to run out and get more film because she took so many wonderful shots at our wedding. She was a true professional and captured our wedding day with a variety of shots!

Colleen was not only my wedding photographer but has also done portaits of the kids and family over the last 12 years. She is open to experiment and is very energetic.
She was able to accommodate my requests when I wanted edits made to a photograph.

I would first like to Thank Colleen for doing an amazing job on my portraits! Everyone always tells me how beautiful my album is! Secondly, Colleen always returned my calls and was there to help me with any questions! Planning a wedding can be stressful enough but when you have someone who understands it makes the planning that much easier!

We were looking for a great photographer that was not going to take up half of our wedding budget. I found Colleen through a referral from our DJ and we picked her almost right away. She was personable, funny and it turns out quite the talented photographer as well. When we met with her, she really got to know our personalities and based the settings etc. . .for our photos around them.
On the day of our wedding, Colleen was wonderful, she spent the entire day with us and was such a great and fun guest at our wedding that we asked her to stay as a guest when the pictures were done!
Our pictures turned out beautiful, there were beautiful posed shots but what I liked the most were the ones she took when we didn't know it. She was able to capture the true joy and fun of our wedding and reception. As a matter of fact I was one of many in my family to get married that year and I by far had the best album at 1/4 of the what my cousins paid!
I highly recommend Colleen for any special occasion.
Colleen- if you see this- I've had two kids since my wedding- do you still do children's portraits too? :-)

Colleen was recommended to me by my sister in-law, who was thrilled with her service. Not only was Colleen an awesome and professional photographer, but she was friendly, easy going and a lot of fun. She always responded promptly to my many e-mails before the wedding and went out of her way to meet our needs. She full of great ideas for posing pictures and was always enthusiastic about posing our own ideas. We were so happy with Colleen's service that we have called her again to take family photos after our son was born. I always do, and will continue to recommend Colleen to anyone planning a wedding!

Colleen's Photography was the best vendor we booked for our wedding! Colleen was very professional but easy-going enough to keep my nerves at ease that day. Her photos were absolutely beautiful and we had the luxury of struggling over which ones to pick for our final album. She is a BARGAIN considering what we paid and the quality of the photos. She didn't miss a single request and her attention to detail was flawless. We have since used her for a family portrait session and I guarantee Colleen will be there to capture all of the important moments in our family for years to come!

Colleen was absolutely amazing. The start of my special day was rough, but as soon a Colleen arrived she automatically changed my mood. Her smile, personality and professionalism was outstanding. Colleen was wonderful. She did a great job and definately went above and beyond!! She did shots that everyone was amazed. I live in an area with alot of lakes, she put us on a walking bridge and went into the water to get a great shot!! Very personable, nice, professional and excellent product. When we hired her we didn't know her, however, now because we liked her so much we keep in touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
