CLM Has gone downhill big time....Christie met with us in March of 2011 which just so happened to be right around the time she took a job in San Francisco CA working at Half Moon Bay.Granted neither of us nor any of the vendors in Vegas knew of this plan of hers. Also during this time she sold her house in Las Vegas and supposedly would fly back and forth for our meetings while we were picking out our vendors. She also stated that Stephanie (her assistant) would help us with any "slack" when Christie was not available. Well since our initial meeting with Christie we seen her one time and that was during our meeting at our venue the Four Seasons. Now I don't think a 80 - 100k budget for a wedding is that small. But once we decided to not use the Four Seasons because their initial cost for our reception alone was 74k, Christie was never heard from again. We have recently found out that Christie took the original Four Seasons quote, and marked it up another 15k before she sent it onto us. Needless to say Stephanie came in afterwards for Christie and has been greatly appreciated. However Steph also has been pulled in all directions because of Christies absence during the last 13 months. Christie even took our deposit of 1500 dollars and kept it without giving any to Stephanie (even though in the contract it states that the wedding coordinator should get all monies). Did Christie do anything at all to earn 1500 of compensation???? I think not. Even though we purchased the "Christie Package", we got pawned off onto her assistant Stephanie and did not get what Christie promised. If any bride or groom are looking to have CLM weddings for their wedding planner, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere as Christie is not around in Vegas anymore, she is working in Half Moon Bay CA for the Ritz Carlton, and she takes "kickbacks" from her special list of vendors -- even though she strictly stated at our first meeting that she did not do this practice. We are disgusted that her GREED came before our happiness on our special day.

When we met with Christie for the first time, we were quite impressed with her presentation. We were informed that there may be an intern who would help out with the wedding, but Christie assured us she would also be there every step of the way. The first meeting we were supposed to have with Christie's intern, Stephanie was a no show. We were told that the intern would contact us, we waited a month - it never happened. This was an immediate turn off, but we figured that since Christie was still there to support us, we'd let it slide.

All vendors that Christie suggested to us in the mean time were way overpriced for our budget, and we were getting a bit discouraged; we were worried that our moderate budget just wasn't enough and this was my first experience planning or being part of a wedding, so I had no idea what was considered fair as far as pricing goes.This is what I thought we hired a wedding planner for, but we quickly learned that we had to go find our own vendors if we wanted anything close to decent in our price range. What was the point? Maybe day of services would have been a better choice for us.

The entire experience and overall sinking feeling we got with the entire planning part of the wedding was that CLM was completely useless unless we had endless amounts of money to spend and go way over budget.

Finally, we meet with Stephanie. She seems friendly, we like her. Next thing we hear is that Christie is completely having Stephanie take over the coordination for our entire wedding but she will still be available if we need anything. Not so much, we never heard from or saw Christie ever again, even though we tried calling and emailing her several times. When we asked Stephanie about it, she said Christie would give us a call and that never happened either.

Stephanie seemed to be very easy going when it came to the flexibility of our event, with the change of venue (due to a stretched budget) and constant changes to the guest list which were all out of our control. It was pretty chaotic at times but again, this is why we hired CLM. However, on the day of the event, our early arrival family members witnessed the venue director unprofessionally complaining with Stephanie about our wedding in the main dining area before my husband and I arrived for our ceremony and it was very clear that the complaining was not TO but WITH. Now, I realize I was not the one who witnessed this but I also know these multiple family members would never make something like that up. Even though Stephanie completely denied being a part of this conversation, we were not happy with the way she chose to (not) address the issue and Christie (surprise surprise) still has yet to even reply. As usual, I had to personally handle the issue myself with the CEO of the restaurant/venue.

Honestly, I think CLM may have once been a very nice wedding planning and coordination service and I don't know what happened in 2011 but this company has gone way down hill if what other reviewers claim is true. This was an awful experience and I would love nothing more than for Christie to take ownership of our bad experience but I have given up, based on her level of professionalism.

I have to agree with the other low-rater: CLM is only for those with a massive budget who can afford their best packages. CLM seems accustomed to high-ticket weddings and when we came to them with a reasonable budget for a small wedding they assured us they could help, but time and time again they failed us and we had to find our own vendors.

The fact that we consistently found good quality vendors at better prices with very little effort goes to show that CLM is only interested in matching you with vendors they have agreements with - which is pretty normal - but CLM appears not to have agreements with anything but the creme de la creme, so if you have a modest budget, you'll end up planning most of your wedding anyway.

We did like the venue they picked out for us, until a member of my family overheard the event coordinator and our wedding planner (Stephanie, not Christie) badmouthing us before the ceremony.

Our wedding went off without a hitch, but almost none of that was attributable to CLM.

If you can afford to get Christie instead of an assistant and have a huge budget then I'm sure CLM could work for you, but the assistants are awful and CLM's vendors are expensive.

Christy was most valuable for her help the day of! Anytime I sent my bridesmaids to check on something they would return saying "Christie took care of it already"! It was a great sense of confidence, going into the big day, knowing that she was someone who knew exactly how things were to run. She also has an arsenol of fantastic vendors and was prepared to "step in" many times when negociations or customer service concerns became too stressful for me - she was willing to get dirty and be the middle man I needed!

I have nothing but the best to say about CLM and how great Christie was to work with. My wedding was March 5, 2011 at Joe's Stone Crab and needless to say it was a bit challenging planning everything from Texas. Moreso because I had never seen Joe's, other than in the pictures.
From the beginning Christie was great. I loved the fact that the moment I submited an inquiry on her website, she called me within 24 hours, while it took some other wedding planning services weeks to call me. It showed that she was on her game.
From hundreds of emails back and forth to sending her pictures of flowers and even suggestions, she was the best to work with. I knew exactly of the over all look I wanted (pinks and black and silver) but wasn't sure of the execution of it and she helped me down to the end. I would absolutely suggest anyone wanting to feel like a guest at their own wedding hire her.
The day of, she would stop by my table to make sure I didn't need anything or to let me know where we stood with the timeline. There was even an icident with one of my guests but Christie was professional the whole time!
HIRE HER! She is a little pricey but worth the cost. I didn't want to have to fret with anything since its not like a typical wedding where you can swing by the location and setup the night before. You do need someone on hand to make sure cake, lightiing, DJ..that they are all arriving.
Loved her, she was the sweetest and I loved everyone she suggested I use from the cake to the dress steamer to the DJ.

Christie, Sage, and Justin were awesome to work with. They were very professional and on the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing! Everything was set up beautifully and went as smooth as could be, and made it the most amazing wedding - better than we even imagined!

Christie is my lifesaver. We had to move our ceremony indoors the night before our wedding due to weather. The room we were supposed to use for our ceremony in case of inclement weather was booked without our knowledge. Christie not only dealt with moving our ceremony indoors but she made a cramped ceremony on our dance floor as beautiful as one could hope. I don't know what I would have done without her.

Christie and her team are amazing! There wasn't a detail neglected and in turn my guests were impressed by the decor, feel and mood she was able to set for my special day.

when it came to being organized she kept me on track with that as well, with deadlines and important dates to remember during the planning processes to the details of the wedding day itself. I had ZERO stress the day of.

I'd highly recommend CLM weddings to anyone else looking to have a great experience with a wedding planner and feel like you're her only client.

If you have gobbs of money to spend than Christie is a wonderful coordinator for you, as they brag about their "Platinum Wedding" episode, but if your on a budget and/or a tight deadline...don't do it! We hired them in January and by late April our wedding still was not fully coordinated, we were way over budget, and they were asking for a final payment! And of course they blamed it all on us!

Christie and her husband Justin were extremely helpful. We loved how laid back they were but at same time, got the job done. They are just regular people who you feel comfortable talking to but still provided very professional and excellent service. Our wedding was a destination wedding in Vegas which couldn't have been done without Christie and Justin! Christie got a feel for what we liked the first day we met. She knew what we wanted and how we wanted it done. The vendors recommended by CLM were outstanding, professionally and economically, from the DJ to the tuxedos to the steamer. She helped keep us right at our budget and was always there to negotiate with whomever. On our wedding day, they were there with us the whole time and even available after the wedding day for questions and service. Christie and Justin were the most down to earth and easy to work with people we met throughout our whole wedding experience. We would and will be highly recommending them and their company to anyone getting married.

The only complaint would be that we blew the budget by a LARGE amount, but that was mostly my own fault - Maybe my location wasn't realistic for my budget and expectations? But it was sooo worth it! I would recommend CLM weddings to anyone looking to enjoy their wedding day to the fullest. They took care of every detail allowing me to be stress free and enjoy the day. Instead of setting tables and arranging details I was able to relax and focus on getting ready without any worries. I would not have found the fantastic vendors that made my wedding magical without my wedding planners suggestions. They are definitely the experts on Las Vegas weddings and know all of the best people who they have witnessed doing a great job over and over again. They will not let you down in any way!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I decided to hire a planner for day of service. When I met with Christie I knew she was the perfect fit for me. She was so helpful months ahead with vendor recommendations and giving me advice. The day of the wedding she just made me feel so calm. I am a control freak but she made me feel so relaxed. Highly, highly, recommend her.

I recently got married in Las Vegas and decided to hire a day-of wedding planner since we're from Chicago. Christie provided a ton of assistance in the months prior to the wedding, and when we arrived in Vegas and had our rehearsal she was there to make sure things ran smoothly. She was an immediate comfort to me when we met for the first time at the rehearsal, and I could not have asked for more. On the wedding day she was very calm and professional, and always two steps ahead of what was going. I highly recommend her, we are lucky to have had her!

They had great ideas and helped me make my wedding planning process simpler.Their service is worth the price and they are truly a one stop shop for everything! I would recommend them to anyone for any event!

We are from Texas and we were planning to have our wedding in Fabulous Las Vegas. We didn't want the stereotypical Las Vegas Wedding but we didn't want it to be completely traditional either. We knew that we personally had no time to plan a destination wedding as well. We found CLM weddings and we knew we had come to the right place.

Christie and her team spent quality time on getting to know us, what we liked/disliked, what we expected, etc. They were able to make awesome suggestions and give us really great ideas. They handled our budget and payments for all vendors.

CLM weddings has great connections with some outstanding vendors. They attended our meetings and handled negotiations and contracts on our behalf, which really helped since we were so busy and far away. They always responded to emails and calls promptly.

The day of the rehearsal and wedding were stress free for me. I knew that CLM weddings had everything under control. We let them decorate however they wanted because we knew that they were creative. They made our zebra and baseball decor come together perfectly. Our guests were blown away by everything. It was truly the most perfect day of our lives. A day that we will never forget (or complain about) thanks to CLM Weddings! WE LOVE YOU CHRISTIE!

Please do yourself the favor of using CLM Weddings, I promise you will not regret it. Christie will work her butt off to make sure you have the most perfect day. She is incredibly creative and talented, with fresh and fun ideas. No matter what crisis she will be there to fix it. I put my full trust and support behind Christie and her business, she is a wonderful person and wedding planner.
