    Michelle (Charming Little Event Company) is an excellent coordinator and we could not have been happier with our decision to have her there to help our wedding day go smoothly. She was so friendly and helpful every step of the way, always responsive to emails and calls. She provided great recommendations to make sure the day would run seamlessly and put together the perfect timeline--some of the other vendors even mentioned to me how impressed they were with how detailed and organized the timeline was. Having her there the day of the wedding took so much stress off of us because we could relax and know everything was taken care of. The day after the wedding, everyone was saying they couldn't believe how perfectly everything went, and I thank Michelle in large part for that! We definitely recommend her!!!

    I would HIGHLY recommend CLEC. I waited until the last minute to engage some help for my wedding, but from the first call, both of the CLEC team that I worked with both jumped in and were more than happy to get me caught up, understand my 'vision', and with very little time, they were instrumental in executing exactly what I was looking for.... they actually did much more than I could have hoped for ! They are definitely pro's and have a lot of experience with many different options. They walked with me through my 'good' ideas and made them great !!! I was very happy with how fun, smooth and enjoyable my wedding was, with CLEC help!

    We were referred to Michelle of Charming Little Event Company by our venue and we could not have asked for a better recommendation! From the beginning, Michelle was friendly, thoughtful, and above everything else, INCREDIBLY HELPFUL! At first, I thought I was booking day-of services and thought that her price seemed a little higher than that of comparable vendors in the area. As it turns out, my “day-of” services actually turned out to be more like “all the panicky weeks before the wedding AND day of” services, which then became a total steal!

    Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the wedding industry and addressed each of my concerns with careful thought and personal advice. None of my questions were ever deemed silly or petty. Most importantly, she was honest and encouraging of my personal vision and ideas for the wedding without giving me “fluff” opinions.

    On the day of the wedding, Michelle and Lana did an excellent job coordinating with all of the vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly. There were a few minor hiccups here and there (what event doesn’t have those?) but Michelle was very capable at handling every situation that arose, and took care of everything promptly and effectively.

    I would highly recommend Charming Little Event Company to future brides – you could not ask for a friendly, more knowledgeable, or more professional coordinator!

    Michelle was a dream to work with! I hired her through my venue as a day of coordinator, but she was definitely more than that. From the day she was hired she was available through phone and email at anytime. She referred me to two great vendors after I was completely stuck, helped me through sticky situations, and best of all, took all my decor off my hands that I gathered over the months! Michelle and Lana stayed true to my vision and I am still getting compliments about how beautiful everything looked. Michell was incredibly professional, personable, and was a true joy to work with. Thanks again Michelle!

    Michelle was perfect. Michelle helped us plan our wedding from 500 miles away. She must have received 1000 e-mails from us. She was friendly and helpful every step of the way, even when we ran into difficulty with the flowers we wanted. She made sure the ceremony was exactly what we asked for. Michelle ran the rehearsal and ceremony smoothly. As a coordinator, she was excellent! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

    Michelle helped us plan our July wedding and we have to say that she was a complete godsend! We repeatedly said throughout the year long process that we would could not imagine planning our wedding without her. Michelle was super responsive to our emails and texts. She was great about coordinating meetings around our schedule. One thing we especially loved was her respect for our budget. She never tried to upsell us on a more expensive design. She was able to find great vendors for us within our tight budget and the end result was beautiful. She totally understood our design and we wouldn't hesitate at all to refer her to anyone. She also had a fantastic design assistant (Lana) who helped make the big day perfect. Thank you Michelle (and Lana)!

    My husband and I were married in June but we hosted a second wedding reception in Orange County, CA on July 21, 2013 and given that we live in NYC, we really needed the help of a planner to pull it all off. We hired Michelle for day-of coordination as well as for some "creative" help with pulling together our "election campaign" theme. We had already locked in half our vendors (venue, caterer, photo, video) but Michelle was able to help us locate some top quality vendors including officiant, cake, hair and make-up that would have been difficult to find on our own given that we live so far away. As a typical bride, I had some crazy decoration ideas at the last minute and she was very responsive and able to pull off everything with ease. Quite simply she made life so much easier for us. She was able to handle vendor contracts, vendor communication, day-of set-up and clean-up, etc and all we had to do was enjoy our reception. We didn't use a planner for our wedding in June and I now realize how hiring a planner for our second reception was the best decision we made. Michelle and her Charming Events staff were professional and helped us pull off our event without a hitch. We highly recommend their services!

    Michelle was great to work with. I planned my sisters entire wedding for her but hired Michelle to run ideas by, get advise and to help the day of. She did more than that! She was always available when I called and she was great about offering any suggestions when we asked for them. She really is doing what she's loves and it shows!

    Michelle Tortuya was a dream to work with! My husband and I were married in a very small ceremony with only immediate family members as guests. Michelle stayed true to our vision for an intimate celebration and understood that we needed something beyond the one-size-fits-all approach to weddings. From vendor recommendations to design consulting, Michelle was an invaluable part of our planning. She is a consummate professional--proactive, organized, flexible and warm-hearted--and any couple would be lucky to have her! Thanks again to Michelle and Lana for a truly charming event!

    When my fiancé and I were planning our wedding, we thought that we did not need a wedding coordinator. However, we later found out that a wedding coordinator was mandatory for our wedding venue. As we met with possible wedding coordinators, we quickly realize that Lana was the right person for us. She not only came at a reasonable price but she was able to understand our vision. Throughout the planning process, Lana was accessible through emails and phones with immediate responses. She was very professional. Her attitude, work ethic and dedication to her clients go beyond what is expected. Lana was always able to make suggestions regarding details that we probably would have overlooked that helped our vision to come together. On the day of, Lana definitely helped things to go smoothly and for us to be able to enjoy our special day stress free! We were lucky to have found Lana and The Little Charming Event Company and would highly recommend them for any wedding or event! Thanks so much Lana!

    I love the charming little event company! Everything was handled with such professionalism! The minute details all lead to the beautiful reception that all my guests raved about until now! I would definitely use them again and definitely recommend to family and friends!

    My Husband and I got married on June 30, 2012 at the Newport Beach Marriott. We were so pleased to be referred to the Wedding Coordinating services of Charming Little Event Company at the Newport Beach Marriott's Bridal Tasting event. We had the pleasure of having Lana Galang as our Day of Coordinator and she truly was amazing to work with. She was personable, professional, punctual, organized and resourceful. She partnered closely with us on the details of our Wedding day and executed a flawless and beautiful Wedding celebration for us. From the rehearsal practice to Wedding day, we were truly pleased with the excellent service and attention to detail provided.

    I've learned from the mistakes of others that a day of coordinator is essential to keep things flowing all night. I've heard horror stories of the mother of the bride or the bride running around trying to assemble or cue people during the night, leaving guests standing around, confused about what is going on.

    Michelle's calm demeanor and her confidence reassured me that things would go as planned. We went over specific timeline until we were both comfortable with the order of events. Her team was never too far on the day of the wedding and they cued everything perfectly. Even as things were straying from the original timeline, they were able to discreetly ask what was priority for me. They made things happen while saying in the background.

    The guests were amazed at how the night went on without a hitch. Thanks, Michelle & Kym for making our night perfect!!

    The Charming Little Event Company did an amazing job. Every detail was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend using them for any event especially Michelle Tortuya. She handled everything leaving us with no stress on our big day. So many guests came up to me and said this was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. They also said how super nice Michelle was.

    My name is Juliet Robles and we had Michelle Tortuya as our wedding coordinator. We are so thankful to have had such a great wedding coordinator like Michelle, she was always looking out for us, had the best ideas, made sure everything was correct and always double/triple checked everything with us to make sure we approved.

    I recommend Michelle as she will make your wedding plans easier, she will take on all of your duties & you will have less stress in planning your wedding.

    Michelle was there every step of the way. My reception was INCREDIBLE
    and I would not change one thing. I remember that day was crazy and I was running around all morning and more nervous than anything but as soon as I made it to the wedding Michelle made me feel comfortable & took all that stress away.

    I had so many compliments on everything Michelle did for us & how great everything looked.

    On a scale of 1-10 my husband and I give Michelle a 100 as she made our Dream Wedding Day come true PERFECTLY!!

    I can not thank Michelle Tortuya and her assistant Kym for all they did to make my wedding gorgeous. They are true professionals and I will always be grateful for their willingness to make my vision of the reception a reality. With the power out at the church resulting in no music, no lights and no air conditioning, we felt very confident with Michelle being there, taking care of us and put our minds at ease. I had certain specifications on how the candy buffet and memory table were to be designed. It was done the way I asked. Michelle was always there via email or phone to answer any questions we had. Her vendor recommendations were so helpful that we booked a number of them for our wedding. Michelle is very detail-oriented! I loved that her timeline was so meticulous and kept everyone on track.     No matter what I write here will not give Michelle due credit for how INCREDIBLE she was to work with. We worked together for over a year planning my wedding in Malibu, CA. I live out of state, so I REALLY leaned on her for insight and ideas. She was there for me every step of the way, I just don't know what I would have done without her. Because of her hard work and 200% dedication, my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams!

    Michelle and the Charming Events Team were excellent! I would certainly recommend them for any bride looking for a coordinator who is knowledgeable, flexible, attentive to details, and just easy to work with. Believe me ... as things got crazy with wedding planning (as I imagine every bride experiences), it was great to know Michelle was there to answer any questions/concerns I had.

    Up to and on the day of our wedding, her team worked flawlessly in coordinating all my vendors. I heard from many of my vendors "Your coordinator was great to work with!! She's REALLY good!" My husband and I appreciate all the work Michelle and her team put in to make sure our wedding was everything I had hoped for! Additionally, and definitely noteworthy, I found her pricing to be very reasonable, especially for the quality of the services provided.

    Michelle was our amazing wedding coordinator for my daughters wedding. She was awesome, she handled everything so professionally. As the mother of the bride I wanted to enjoy the event and not have to worry about anything. Michelle and her staff made the wedding a beautiful amazing experience and I was able to completely share in my daughters special day thanks to her.
