Hiring A Charmed Event was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We will forever be grateful for all of the assistance charity gave us before the wedding. Planning a destination wedding can be more stressful than a wedding in your home town but because of Charity I was able to rest at night knowing that she would be there to walk us through everything once we arrived. Charity assisted us in so many ways it’s hard to imagine how we would have survived the wedding weekend without her. Mark led a beautiful ceremony for us and brought such a personal element to our ceremony which is hard to find when you’re a thousand miles from home. Both Charity and Mark are so kind and so professional that no matter how you utilize their services you won’t be sorry. In fact, it will be the best thing you did during your wedding planning process…aside from picking the perfect husband/wife! 

Mark was our officiant. He was AWESOME! Everyone in our family complimented on how beautiful the ceremony was and what a great job Mark did. Mark and Charity made sure that the ceremony was exactly how Tom and I wanted it. They were in communication with us way before the wedding and there to answer questions any time we had them. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you Mark for doing an awesome job and thank you Charity for helping plan everything for the ceremony in advance. We couldn't have found a better officiant.

Mark performed our wedding ceremony back in 2007. We don't live in Florida so only got to meet him a couple of days before the wedding. Straight away we felt comfortable with him, he talked us through everything and we were able to choose exactly what we wanted. We were very nervous about the ceremony but it ended up being the best part of the day. Mark made us feel so relaxed and everything went fantastic that it really made the day and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend Mark to anyone that wants a stress free wedding and a professional reliable officiant. If there were ten stars there A Charmed Event would have got them all.

Charity and Mark were amazing. We hired Charity as our wedding planner, and she helped us do everything from find the location to hiring all of our vendors. She provided the furniture for our reception lounge and the pails for the centerpieces, made the menus, the escort cards, the table numbers and our welcome bags. She helped us negotiate with our vendors, set up all of the decorations at the ceremony and reception, and took care of everything at the end of the night. Most importantly, my family and friends loved her and we felt like she was part of the family!

Mark was our Officiant, and he was exactly what I was hoping for. Friendly, funny, easy to get along with and a wonderful speaker. He worked with us to create a ceremony that was really "us" and our guests were both crying and laughing by the end of the wedding!

Words cannot express how amazing Charity and A Charmed Event are! Charity made our wedding so beautiful and perfect, but most of all, she removed any possible stresses from our day. I am so thankful for the way she handled every little thing--from sending timelines to the wedding party, coordinating deliveries from vendors, and tackling some last minute issues. Charity is so professional and personable that we built a bond during the months before the wedding--so much so that my husband and I trusted her to pick out our wedding cake! It was a complete surprise and was perfect. She knew us so well that we knew she would impress us.

If I could offer advice to any bride, I would say to hire Charity and A Charmed Event to help with your wedding planning. She will always make sure it is YOUR wedding (and not try to make it her wedding as you often hear in horror stories of wedding planners) but she will bring it back to the fun part and eliminate the stress. Of all my vendors, I would rank A Charmed Event #1.

Charity and Mark were awesome. I hired Charity on at kind of last minute and she was on top of things all the way. She became more of a friend then just a wedding planner. SHe had gorgeous ideas for the wedding and I used almost all of them. She was never rude and was always listening when I was upset or had a concern. Mark was the officiant and he did a wonderful job. We wanted a short and sweet ceremony and he did exactly that.

We used A Charmed Event for day of coordinating. Over a year of planning my own wedding for 250 guests, for a week before Christmas. A Charmed Event came on board a few months beforehand, and Charity surpassed all of my expectations. She made a point of meeting with me several times over the months leading to my big day to learn all of my vendors, the details and my arrangements.
I 100% recommend Charity for day of coordinating, not one of my family or friends had to do a thing the day of the wedding. How nice that we all go to just be with each other and enjoy the wedding, reception and day long activities together! The day was perfect, all of my vendors knew where to be when, and were organized. I begged Charity to tell me if everything went as planned, as I literally had no idea, to me the day was 100% perfect. She said there was a bump along the way, but swore to never reveal it to me. 5 years later, I still do not know what it was, just that she had waved her wand and made it right. I loved my wedding day, still get compliments to this day from my guests and have the best memories.

I didn't have anyone to help me coordinate my wedding, no family close by, I really wanted my friends to attend my wedding and run it, and honestly I hadn't attended many wedding myself to even know where to begin. A Charmed Event took care of EVERYTHING, even the little things I never in a million years would have thought of. Details really do matter. I can't say enough. I don't know how I would have done it without them. Friendly, Experienced, Affordable yet truly priceless.

I found Charity on the Knot while planning my wedding. When we first met, I knew instantly we would hit it off. My husband to be and I wanted a nondenominational ceremony, we wanted original and we wanted someone that wouldn't try to push their own beliefs on us. Charity took my ideas in to consideration and ran with it, putting together an amazing ceremony using her own ideas as well as mine.

I hired her as my officiant but she was so much more! She spent a ton of her own time going over the details of the ceremony (and everything else!), running my rehearsal and going with the flow when handed a bright blue microphone for the ceremony! She was, by far, the most helpful vendor for my wedding. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
I am also happy to say, in the almost 5 years since my wedding we have kept in touch.
