This company was a joy to use. My wedding planner did the initial booking. All I had to do was electronically sign the contract and give them my credit card. They also reconfirmed the arrangements a few days before the event. The limo was clean and the driver professional (although her English was a bit lacking). They were also reasonabally priced and did not charge a surcharge for coming to Gainesville. I would use them again if an event called for a limo.

We used Chariots for Hire on our daughter's wedding day and for her bachelorette party. For each event, they showed up on time, the drivers were extremely courteous and respectful, and the cars were clean and ready. On the wedding day, the driver had multiple locations and he showed up at each one on time. They are a very reliable company and the drivers are very professional. We would not hesitate to use them for other special occasions in the future.

Chariots for hire was reliable and got the job done. They drove us all over DC to take pics at monuments and waited for us without complaints. I would recommend.

I was disappointed. We rented a limo for the wedding party and a shuttle bus for guests. The limo was on time and very clean, but the driver didn't seem to know the best route to the church. A bridesmaid had to direct him. Both the limo and the shuttle were supposed to be in front of the church at the end of the ceremony to take everyone to the reception site. They weren't there at the appointed time (we told them in advance verbally and in writing) and someone had to go and find where they were parked, delaying our photos. The shuttle driver took a horribly long way home after the reception. I wished that both drivers were more familiar with DC or had at least researched the route prior to our wedding day. Also, the AC unit in the bus was leaking/spraying on our guests. We eventually asked that it be turned off and rolled down the windows. We got what we paid for.

We used Chariots For Hire to rent a limo that took myself and my parents to the wedding from the hotel, and to take my husband and I from the church to the reception. They were on time, the driver, Jimmy, was very friendly, and the limo was very clean. We felt like royalty for a few minutes that day! It was wonderful to have some time alone with my husband right after the ceremony, and Jimmy even put the privacy window for us so we could talk in complete privacy. Overall, we were very pleased with the service they provided.

Excellent service. Driver arrived early waited until we were ready to depart. The driver was very flexible and patient with us as he drove us to different locations on the National Mall for our wedding photos. The limo was clean with plenty of bottles of water. Chariots for Hire was one of the least expensive local limo companies, but they delivered top notch service!

We had a very positive experience with Chariots for Hire! Our driver was great - very flexible, helped put things in the limo, helped me in and out with my dress, etc. They even made a special note that I was requesting the a/c be fully working for our July wedding transportation! :) The driver was on time and professional.

The company was very responsive throughout the process of setting up the service, taking payment, and confirming all of the details of the event. They were very flexible in allowing me to make a few changes leading up to the day. The company itself was really great and it was an excellent value.

On the day of the service the driver was at the venue on time and he did everything we asked on the trip to the church from the hotel but following the ceremony the driver was nowhere to be found at the church and the guests had to wait 15 minutes to be transported back to the hotel for the cocktail hour.

After that small glitch was dealt with and the driver came back to get the 2nd group (wedding party) he played the music for us and it was a great ride back to the hotel.

Overall I would recommend this service for their value and quality of service but would just be very directive with your driver.

Well all I can really say is that this was by far the worst vendor we booked!!!!! Not only was the second limo late picking myself and the bridesmaids up which made the ceremony late and had even my husband worried I was ditching him at the alter.....but then the limo BROKE DOWN after the ceremony. It was ridiculous they horrible service that was provided! Don't use them!

Overall, great service. My fiance and I called numerous limo companies, but was a bit weirded out by most of them. I hired Chariots for Hire due to the fact that my sister used them for their wedding. They were a bit more expensive than the others, but overall, I didn't want to be stuck without transportation on my wedding day. Great service.

Wow! I cannot think of one bad moment with this company. They were totally responsive to quoting and the change in transportation we made. The drivers themselves were extremely professional and friendly (even with my rowdy bridal party). They were calm, friendly, and very helpful. At the end of the night, I remember thanking our driver at least twice. This is a fantastic and professional company. I have passed their names along to all of my engaged friends. WE LOVE CHARIOTS FOR HIRE! We hired a lot of vehicles (1 rehearsal dinner shuttle, 1 wedding party shuttle, 2 charter buses for guests, and 1 sedan for my parents) and they were all on time and looked great...the drivers were friendly...booking was easy...they called me a couple days before the wedding to confirm all the details and contact information (I didn't have to hunt them down)...my driver even called me on my cell to let me know he was early, I should take my time, he'll just be outside waiting for me. So refreshing to not have to worry about a vendor, especially one this important. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We hired a passenger bus from Chariots for Hire to provide shuttle service from our wedding reception to the near-by hotel most of our guests were staying at. I booked online, which was convenient. I confirmed the reservation and paid the balance due 48 hours prior. They were competitively priced. They arrived on time and provided the service as requested. No problems, no issues. Everything ran very smoothly.

Everything went perfecly! The drivers were on time and knew exactly where they needed to go. We actually had a shuttle for our rehearsal dinner and for the wedding day too. Everything was to our expectations.

I saved a winter special promotion I had saw the previous year and they had no problems honoring it for our wedding day. It was very easy to book and everyone I spoke too was very pleasant. The driver arrived on time and was super nice! He helped everyone in and out of the limo, held my dress, bouquet, whatever was needed, and was just very attentive. He was very courteous and polite and made our limo rental quite pleasant. I definitely recommend their services, but DO keep track of your own time. The limo driver had given me the wrong time which had us lose an hour of our limo time, but the hour was better spent without the limo anyway.
